Aggravated waiting for the aggravation phase #6

Yes, Wednesday is tomorrow, and also trash day here, and tomorrow Juan will take the garbage out (aggravation). Thursday ja will take the stand imho, and try to save what little of her worthless self she can (mitigating)

Gotcha - Take care of those Schnauzer babies now.....

Quote from Monica Lindstrom:

"I think the Jury in State v. Arias always agreed on First Degree Premeditated Murder. After their initial review of instructions and evidence I believe they were trying to all agree on Felony Murder. Felony Murder can be a difficult concept to grasp; in this case, you had to believe the gun was Travis Alexander's to believe she "stole" it."

:drumroll:

Would it also be felony murder if she stole her grandfather's gun and used it?

But who's going to speak on behalf of CMJA? Did they find a teacher from high school like they did Scott Peterson? Or maybe mommy will speak? I doubt baby brother will, as he's left some pretty mixed messages on FB. Oh, and she hit him in the head with a bat.

Maybe ALV or Samuels?

Brewer - No
Matt M - nah, I don't think he'd show up in court
Donovan Bering - now that would be interesting

I don't think we'll see any testimony of what a loving wonderful person CMJA is and that her life should be spared.

Just MOO

Mel

Perhaps Doggy Boy has forgiven her and will speak, roll over, play dead, and beg on her behalf.

Not the way this trial is going. Tomorrow is supposed to be aggravation, provided Drama Queen doesn't pull some stunt out of her *** again. Then I believe the jury is going to deliberate and render a verdict on whether the crime meets the definition of cruel...I think I read yesterday on here that in Wendy Ariano case it took the jury 4 hrs to decide, but it had only taken them like 2 hrs. (or some reports 15 min??) to decide the guilty verdict on MUrder 1. And this jury is very thorough so I can see them taking a few hours to decide.

So let's see...then probably the defense will need a couple of days to pull witnesses together, so they'll make up some excuse to JSS to get a delay, or maybe Jodi will come to the rescue with her migraine. I'm thinking it will take the defense 2 full days to get ready, on top of this whole week they've had. Then in the Wendy case it said the defense was doing mitigation for 6 days...6 days!! OMG. So let's say double that time 'cause Nurmi and Wilmott like to drag everything out. Then goes back to the jury, I'm guessing it will take a good 3 days for them to decide.

What are we up to now? By my count that's almost 20 days? That's what I'm guessing.

Ok, got it......i think......GROAN!

I think my first high was in typing class when I sniffed white out. Then they came up with these newfangled computer thingies and I don't need to use it anymore! Sniff, sniff....

:floorlaugh:

White out hadn't even been invented yet when I took typing class in high school.

OK,,,Please help me out!!! Tomorrow is aggravation only. Thursday is mitigation only. Then it all goes directly to the jury for sentencing......
Is this right?

From what I understand, the aggravation phase and mitigation phase are both like mini-trials, opening statements, testimony, closing statements and then the jury deliberates, if they come back with unanimous that cruelty was proven in the aggravation phase then it moves on to the mitigation phase, if they are not unanimous then it goes to the judge and she sets a sentencing date in 30-60 days.

According to this person then, seven jurors believed it was TA's gun? Sure. Seems completely plausible. :help:

That said, I still can't quite figure out the 7/5 split on felony murder. After the first stab, any reasonable person can assume TA would no longer welcome his murderer in the home. It's felony murder. Not sure how five didn't find for that.

Not that it matters, all 12 popped her for premeditation, which is as guilty as you can get.

It's false info.

Juan explained Felony murder in his closing argument. It had to do with Jodi no longer being lawfully at his residence while committing a felony. Juan's logic -- since Travis was being stabbed repeatedly, Jodi was no longer an invited guest at his residence, but an intruder.

Juror 8 on Dr. Drew tomorrow night...omigosh!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have mixed feelings about this, though, b/c who knows he could say something that makes the defense do something different in their mitigation presentation...that's what I'm worried about. I'm super glad he waited this long, but I was hoping for all the jurors to speak AFTER the penalty phase....
that defense team aka Jodi is very sneaky she will change her manipulation based on what the juror 8 says.

I don't think it will matter.
Jodi butchered Travis!!!
There is no getting around it!!!

#1 - The cray-cray does NOT want the death penalty.

But when she gets it, she will not be in the same place as Travis. JMO

One of her grandiose fantasies has to be singing Dido and having one of her bottom-feeding minions put it up on iTunes.

After all, maybe her donations and art have given her enough $$ to pay for a copyright.

Which event, if it happened, would trigger sufficient outrage to crack the magnetic field that protects the earth.

BBM: To answer your question, I predict CMja will speak for ja. (small initials intentional since they are less important now than the caps)
"And you can mark my words on that one"

Sure... let the convicted murderer talk to the jury some more. It's worked like a charm for her so far. :floorlaugh:

Thanks! Sorry for asking the questions twice. Really appreciate the response.

Haven't driven though there in a long time but the last time we did..there weren't any gas stations, just like every now and then phones to call for help and big barrels of water. On the way to Barstow.

Yuma has grown a lot to about 95,000 plus winter snowbirds in RV's, so there are lots of gas stations now. But I've only been through there in recent years. I'm wondering if you're thinking of I-40 to Barstow, which is way more desolate than I-8. It goes through Tonapah and Needles and you'd better fill up when you can. :desert: When we were RVing, we drove lots of lonely highways and carried two 5 gallon cans of diesel for our truck, but I can't imagine carrying gas in the trunk of a car in the desert. Water, yes, so I'll believe her Costco bottles. :)

Is it over? Jodi getting DP? or LWOP?

"Troy Hayden | Twitter

My sources tell me the aggravation phase of #JodiArias trial could be totally finished, including jury decision, tomorrow."

Wow Troy...what good reporting...that's only what every talking head on HLN has been saying ever since the verdict was read (aggravation phase = 1 day).

Troy, can't you give us any information we don't already know...since you have your "source" JODI...............

And how ironic that for 7 jurors, Jodi was a female intruder -- much like the female ninja she described in her second story. You see, she was telling the truth after all.
