Just relaying information ....

No one is in the vehicle ...

Per JDT, the detective on the case has confirmed it is not DNVs car.

I don’t even know how to respond. In a way I was hoping for it to be. But at the same time I’m glad it’s not.

At least they are looking for the car.

No !! I went to this lake ... and looked myself .. I even posted about it in thread 1. The area that they are at is where I got out and looked and didn't see a thing !

It's not even completely submerged and appears to have went slowly into the water, its just off the bank... not like someone was driving at a normal rate and didn't realize it was a lake....

Really curious- what thoughts are going through everyone's minds? Relieved it wasn't her car? Disappointed it wasn't her car?
My mind is going in every direction. Obviously we'd all love to see DNV found alive, but this not knowing is so painful. My stomach is in knots. I REALLY thought it was going to be her car especially since I do think her car is underwater/wrecked somewhere.

I'm disappointed because I don't think this is going to end well for Daniella and this would have been better than her being deliberately harmed. Of course, if she turns up alive, then I will retract my disappointment, of course.

I am very sad for Daniella and sorry I am not stronger to be here more to help find her.

The car is most likely stolen ...

I am trying to find out more information, I knew when I went there that the lake was shallow around the edges but I am sure it is deeper in the center. Still can't see how a car could make it out that far from the edge to be completely submerged.

If Danni had not seen her mother in 7 years, then nothing you or anyone else can say or do can clarify the situation. However, if they were digitally connected, they were not that separated.

What are you going to look into with Joy Vian? Please don't.

By all appearances Danni is not voluntarily missing. Why is the ex-boyfriend's mother the Spokesperson for Danni?

It's sad that her mother and father are not looking for her. Are they drug addicts or do they not have wifi?
JV has been invited to join WS as a verified insider but to date this hasn't seemed to have happened. JV is on FB and has supposedly joined another closed FB Group (not JDT group) about the case and is supposedly speaking on the case there.

Before DNV FB account was made private by JDT for whatever reason it was clear that JV had been in touch with DNV via FB over the past year. I don't think its a safe assumption to take anyone's word about the status of the relationship between DNV and JV other than the people involved and DNV is clearly not here to speak for herself and JV hasn't spoken about the matter except to the media once in a Skype call.

Its clear that there are multiple agendas in place here that we have no clear understanding of but given the FB treatment of JV by JDT early in this case there is not a good relationship in place between the two of them. No matter what the past relationship between JV and DNV, IMO JV is the birth mother and next of kin. We unfortunately haven't heard directly from JV as to her relationship with her daughter. But I think to take the word of individuals that were involved in a custody battle for CT about JV doesn't make much sense either. We are in a tough spot with this case of how much time to spend evaluating statements made by individuals that didn't seem overly knowledgable about the present life of the missing person but due to circumstances they are viewed as the point person for the search and are out aggressively raising money in the name of the missing person.

JV, in contast to Mobile 'family', is a blood relation/next of kin and as such most likely is getting some kind of update from MPD (in contrast to Mobile 'family' which doesn't qualify IMO).

To your question of why we have JDT as Spokesperson its hard to say other than she took the job and she is local. None of the friends stepped up to speak or organize the search effort and sadly JV didn't choose to lead the effort either.

As the podcast the other day showed its clear that JDT didn't have much knowledge of DNV's current life and relationships, work schedule, friends etc. and the extent of their relationship seemed to revolve around scheduling for CT and the custody situation. This more formalized relationship would make some sense if DNV and TT had broken up but now it appears TT was living with DNV 'as friends' at the time of her disappearance which seemed odd if her goal was to move on. Maybe the living situation was temporary until he went to prison? IDK but even very basic questions in this case don't get clear answers from Mobile 'family' IMO. My guess is that TT simply didn't have any other place to live due to his personal situation other than the Veterans Homeless Shelter as he most likely couldn't like with JDT due to CT living there and most likely being under supervision of state so would be subject to visits etc.

We are very sadly 2 months+ with this case and none of the individuals involved have been cleared as suspects by LE. To me, this is telling. LE is also still processing the scene at the Dykes house associated with JCD arrest. To me, this is telling.

Given the lack of substantive knowledge about DNV's life that seems to be the case here by the Mobile 'family' I'm not sure for me how much value they add to the process of what we are trying to do here on WS? When I look back at weeks of questions and the responses (or lack thereof) of the Mobile 'family' to me at least it seems more like obstruction to finding the missing person than anything else. Most families of the missing are willing to share and oftentimes err on the side of oversharing. But, we saw next to no sharing of even very basic information directly from Mobile 'family' while their focus was on putting forward a narrative based largely on unconfirmed statements on FB and Social Media and zero about their family and TT in particular. Questions asked were deemed to be 'irrelevant' and when people didn't agree with the theory of the day those people were excluded from the discussion. I think I might have respected them more if they said they simply didn't know rather than the misstatements and untruths that we experienced. But it seems like they knew much more than they shared publicly about DNV and that is the part that I personally cannot get over if the goal is to find DNV? Why withhold information about a missing person? But I'm also not sure who is advising them and perhaps those people brought in the sense of paranoia and lack of trust that has characterized this entire case which has been profoundly unproductive and not at all helpful to finding DNV. Its sad that all this has played out in the public and years from now CT will be able to search the internet and see how this all played out and make her own decision about the choices made by the Mobile 'family'.

I believe if MPD keep on working this case that the truth will win out in the end. But I now believe the Chief when he said he was out of leads weeks ago, so unfortunately it looks like unless there is some breakthrough that we have a cold case on our hands.

My initial reaction was "it just figures they would find her car in a nearby lake with an invisible boat ramp, the first thing we all speculated happened." and now I am just disappointed of course, but hopeful this ca was discovered in the course of LE searching for Danni's car.

Update on car in the lake.

There was a jack on the accelerator holding it down, so the vehicle was purposely driven into the lake.

Glad it wasn't DNV car. Glad to see MPD on top of things out looking and responding to cars in water. Glad to see the possibility exist for DNV to still be alive.

Yes & no. The PI that JDT hired set one up yesterday but LEs tip line is still the best to use.
@cedgison You previously posted a search company (Kids something) was working with LE to begin searches. Has this happened? Can you provide an update?

Do you know which side of the lake they are on?
