I agree that we know so little. Much of the frustration and why I am seriously questioning motives of some of the people sharing information is that next to nothing of the information being shared gets us closer to understanding DNV and her life or explaining how TT was involved with DNV if at all. The information is a distraction and usually about something insignificant and NEVER ANYTHING MEANINGFUL IMO.
I think to try to understand what might have happened you would have to know who was DW in DNV's life-was he important or insignificant? What was DNV doing with the people she was with the night she disappeared and why weren't her good friends anyplace with her that night? Where are her good friends in all of this and what do they think was going on in DNV's head around the time she went missing? Would DNV have ever purchased drugs for anyone including TT? Why were DW and DNV in the area of the Shell that evening? Were DW and DNV together driving someplace that night or were they on separate paths before DNV discovered her phone was missing? Did anyone in the Mobile 'family' have a large debt owed to a potentially violent person for drugs or gambling or something else? Was TT being squeezed for cash by his dealers and was DNV trying to help? Did DNV try to distance herself from TT but was being threatened? If so, by who? Did she really think she could ever get custody back or did the Mobile 'family' hold her past over her head in order to keep custody of CT and retain any monthly support payments? Who had money problems and could DNV have been able to help but for whatever reason refused? Was DNV abducted not because of anything she did but because of something she knew or saw or maybe it wasn't even something she knew or saw but something related to TT?
All of this is speculation but my point is that I think we are struggling because we truly know very little about DNV and who she was and I'm not so sure that even if the Mobile 'family' knew the answer to this question that it would be shared here or even on FB as my sense is that any discussion of DNV and TT in particular fall into the category of 'family business' that outsiders have no part of. When you look at the 'substance' of what is being discussed on FB its really just a big game of he said, she said, oh no she didn't say that and so on, over and over.
In my experience people that are serious about finding a missing person don't have time for endless he said, she said such as what we have seen on FB and they answer tough questions and try to understand what was going on in the life of the missing victim and those close to that person and they answer tough and uncomfortable questions.
After watching all this play out for now almost 3 months I seriously question whether anyone is seriously looking for DNV or wants her found based simply on what people are focusing on and what the FB chatter is about. I go back to the amount of time it took to even file a missing persons report on DNV which is a fact that we do have information on. Even when it was clear that DNV was missing and that someone had her phone for a few days, the report still wasn't filed and yet another night was allowed to pass. Why? We all know that in these cases the first 48 hrs are critical to finding the missing person. But we started this case with a huge gap between Tuesday and Friday and I seriously wonder if that gap can ever be filled with enough meaningful information to solve this case? But we sadly have next to no meaningful information even after so much time. Very sad situation IMO.
