TT was in the army and deployed overseas to Iraq in 2010. Many of his criminal charges are being litigated in the veteran's court in Mobile. I would guess he has PTSD and other issues related to his deployment and discharge and it may have spiraled into his current situation. I don't think it is really relevant but I wanted to put it out there.

Is there anyway to see if there are any protection orders served against him?

What JD did to his victim was horrific. They only conclusion to make is that he enjoyed it a lot, because he continued to torture her for 25 days.

The unlawful imprisonment and torture of the girlfriend of TT's cousin began about a month after Danni disappeared. Coincidence?

JCD, who was arrested, is TT's cousin. 2 other people were detained at the scene, but were released. One of the detained but released people was JDT's brother aka JCD's dad aka TT's uncle.

Another oddity is that people were more upset about LE conducting the search than the crimes JCD was arrested for! His bond was raised to $50,000 after the arraignment meaning the judge felt there was even more evidence to hold him than when he was arrested.

I don’t know how I missed all of this info but my mind is blown. I have to let this all sink in...

I cannot find the original article anymore, but I recall that JD said something about Danni while he was torturing his girlfriend for 3.5 weeks.

I did read that JD is TT's uncle, and I have wondered if that is JDT's brother. I have also read that he is TT's cousin. Too many of the Mobile reporters are sloppy with their facts.

JD is TTs cousin.

“The alleged victim in the case filed a petition for a protection order in which she alleged Dykes "raped, beat and held me against my will for 3 1/2 weeks."



The petition goes on to say Dykes "made it clear that he will kill me."

In a handwritten letter filed with the petition, the alleged victim makes the following accusations against Dykes:

"...he took all resources such as my cell phone away from me so I couldn't contact anyone."

"He wouldn't allow me to eat or drink a lot of times and when he did after eating or drinking what he gave me I would become dizzy very sleepy and I would fall asleep until he hit or yelled at me..."

"He tied me up with a amp cord until I passed out and he made me sleep with cord around my throat. He beat me in my face, head and body with a metal rod with a whip attached to the end of it."

Dykes is the cousin of Vian's ex-boyfriend, and family members told News 5 that Vian had been to the property in the past.

Accuser: Theodore suspect "raped, beat and held me against my will for 3 1/2 weeks"

MPD may not be vocally asking for the public's help because they believe they have the person responsible in custody and they are waiting for tests on evidence collected from the house to move forward. They may just need the public's help to find her car.

So why did they believe that DNV may be on this property? Some of the FB posts in the first link you posted say that JD’s victim told police something about her being connected to the location. Is this true?
I wonder aboutt the other 2 people at the location who were ultimately released- who they are, etc.

It fits with my theory. That they know exactly who was car 3 and are collecting evidence. He could have sold the car, new plates put on and off it went. I’d look for newly registered blue 2014 Chevy Cruz’s around the time of disappearance within a 100 mile radius.

In the live video of a detective outside of the JCD property he said that they did not find DNV at the property. Reporters did say evidence was taken away so it's possible evidence is still being tested and the investigation continues.

I thought LE was clear they did not find DNV herself at the property (like many people were hoping), but they did not say they didn't find any evidence or that the person arrested was cleared in DNV's disappearance.

I think we're all mush-brained from this discussion. With most missing person's cases, we learn the facts as time goes on and we build an understanding of what most likely happened. In this case, we take 2 steps forward, 3 steps back, 5 steps sideways, do some black flips, and then we do it all over again, leaving us with little more than the fact that Danni is either missing or she's on a spontaneous vacation.

We do not have any more information than when we first started. Seeing three very full threads one would think there must be a good bit of info, but nope, just a lot of not much! Things have been stated, retracted, forgotten, and stated again over and over. I hope LE is able to figure all this out.

You worded that very clearly and accurately and the reporter’s statement does not reflect what you said. I feel like that’s irresponsible reporting, just a side note/complaint about the media in this case.

And the victim reportedly told LE that JDT mentioned DNV while he had her imprisoned. The family has come out to say she only said it out of spite. My thoughts have always been she obviously had enough injures to convince LE she was telling the truth, she did not have to bring up DNV. And if you were involved in someone’s disapperance and someone threatened to tell LE, maybe you would lock them up, and use their phone to make it appear all was okay. This girl was locked up for three weeks and was not reported missing. Interesting.

They searched because of a tip; not necessarily because they believed she could be there but, then again, they didn't know and wanted/needed to make sure.

The only connection DNV had to the property is that she had visited with the T family in the past.

TT & JD are cousins but I'm not sure how close they were or how much interaction JD & DNV had.
