Hello. I have been gone way too long. I have some catching up to do! I want to watch the video above but from @Vail summary I still have some of the same thoughts I always had, number ! being "who had the most to gain from DNV's disappearance?" And the custody comments have me thinking. Good day to all.

It's not even who had the MOST to gain, it's who had ANYTHING to gain by her disappearance??? She didn't owe some crazed drug dealers money, she wasn't in the midst of a huge legal battle, she was actually getting her life together and who would be concerned about that? Who had anything (or anybody) to lose by DNV getting her life together and reaching those goals she wrote out? I'm still so upset that we have NOTHING new (or old really) to go on. It breaks my heart for DNV and for her daughter how cold this case has gotten.

I would have to go back and read all the threads but did we know that a custody hearing was scheduled for the week after she disappeared? The phone to me has always been a factor. Well not always but early on. It think it was @otto who thought the phone was important. The parties that disappeared DNV never counted on her losing her phone.

I can't recall whether it was known from the beginning, but it was pretty early on that the custody hearing came out.

Looking at the summary Vail did, the comment that DNV said she would "rat" on anyone one that came around her with drugs just pops out and I remember listening to the interview when it came out and that statement sticking with me. Throughout the threads there have been discussions on whether the person responsible could have been associated with TT somehow, could they have been someone he was involved with, and if so, is that how he knew to call DNV's phone the next day. I think initially the conversations were geared towards whether TT had a part in something happening to DNV, but maybe it was someone- dealer/buyer- TT was involved with who was angry at DNV for ratting on them. I remember other comments questioning whether she could have been a CI.

That is interesting. What is curious is how many people knew she got a new car that day? Who would have shared that information?

It's always been odd to me that the given timeline had TT calling DNV's phone the next day, before talking to JDT. I always wondered had someone told him something had happened.

Yes that was always odd to many of us and was why most of us did not believe he was in jail but we now know he was but to me it makes it even odder. I still believe the person who disappeared DNV was known to her or knew someone known to her. I never felt this was random.

Hopefully unrelated but...

I just got the text alert and thought of her immediately. I just saw the news report and it was said the burned out car had been there for some time and there were skeletal remains. Multiple agencies have been called. The reporter wondered if it could be a missing person. I was watching Channel 10.

I don't think there's much of a chance that DNV is still alive at this point. I completely understand your sentiment but I almost DO wish it were related. The not knowing is hard for us and I'm sure it's just impossible for her close friends and family. I so badly want DNV to be found, no matter what has happened to her. I wish someone would start talking
