JDT has said that he was in jail all night that night, but I don’t think anyone was ever able to confirm that with official records.

Where did you see this information listed? Do the local police have the arrest/jail listed on their website for that night? Most cities list arrest information, not sure about Mobile. Worth a check to confirm.

I got this information from the Mobile Police Website. Good to see Crime Stoppers is active in the area. It might make sense for family/friends to reach out to them to see if they can handle the reward as they are setup with call bank and website and have the ability to promote the case for greater visibility. I also would think that family/friends would not want to be dealing with taking tips and dealing with the public at this time. Crime Stoppers takes over that process and brings order to the process and they have experience working with LE.

Yes, but couldn't it just as easily been a car jacking/abduction? One driver takes her car and drives away after disabling the GPS and other car speed away with her. If she had been drinking a bit then it might not have been that hard for someone to take her? Must be a reason that the LE had the TV channel take down the footage from the Shell station. I also am still scratching my head about the alleged friend not following her. They said they just went home? Not sure this story is adding up so far as I can see it? If their plan was to keep the party going that night then why did the friend head home and not continue on? Also, why has this friend not come forward and spoken to media to explain what happened?

Reminder: JT says he was cleared by LE. Until LE publicly states that, I am assuming he remains a POI as the last person to see her. However, if someone is witness to him returning to Dublin's at a reasonable time, that would support his story thusfar. This person is not known to her coworkers based on public comments by Danniella's friend LN on Danniella's FB, so is not a coworker.

Just catching up and what a bizarre case. If there was an accident - since it was her first day with a car it was my first thought - it sounds like they would have found the car by now? If this is a city, wouldn't the businesses all long the main roads have surveillance cameras? I'm guessing there's some identifiable information in the one surveillance video that was released and taken down at the request of LE. Maybe license plates? Wish they would release more information so the case would get more attention.

I was reading some interesting articles about crime in Mobile last night. Due to the fact that its a port there is an active market for stolen cars, people and of course drugs and guns, mostly for export. I can't help but think that someone saw the temp tag on the car and followed her to the gas station to jack the car and/or her. Is anyone else getting that idea from the timeline?

There are a few TT's listed on Mobile Police Warrant site. No active warrants but all the TTs listed seem to be on probation.

The other interesting tidbit from FB conversation with Friend last night was that Daniella was 'cash only' with no credit card or ATM card. I don't get the no ATM card statement but that is what she told me. Maybe the reason she had the bank listed on her 'goals' page was it was past credit card debt? IDK. Pure speculation. If she was cash only and she was getting gas at the station as well as looking for her car then she would have had to go inside to pay and maybe she didn't lock her car and this is when the GPS was diabled? Truly grasping at straws here with no info. Do we even know if she was getting gas too or did she just pull in to look for phone?

Summary:
Mobile police are searching for a 24-year-old woman who hasn't been seen since Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Danniella Vian, was last seen Tuesday riding in a deep blue 2014 Chevrolet Cruz with a Pearl Motors paper tag at the Shell Staton on 3500 Government Blvd. Vian was believed to be wearing a Mellow Mushroom T-shirt and hat.

Vian had reportedly gone to The Dublin Pub & Eatery with a friend, and left in two separate cars to go to another venue. Along the way, Vian realized that she did not have her cell phone, and flashed her headlights at her friend’s car to alert her, before they pulled in to a gas station to look for her phone in the car.

Family members say they pulled off at that Shell station to look for the phone and decided to head back to Dublin’s to look there when they didn’t immediately find it.

The friend told family members he last saw Vian get in her car to follow him back to the bar and assumed she was driving behind him.

The time stamped video shows what appears to be two cars pulling into the parking lot at 11:05 pm on July 17th.

Two minutes later, one car appears to leave. The other car stays. At 11:08, another car pulls in and both cars stay parked until 11:24 when they both leave.

Observations:
There is some conflict between JT and JV and some drama over GoFundMe. I'll sit on my hands for now before sharing what I think of these two. How they regard Danniella and her disappearance provides important insight into some dynamics in Danniella's life, though.

There does not appear to be any friendly interaction between TT and Danniella since 2016.

Fantastic summary. I think though that JT has to be considered a suspect until we hear otherwise from LE. Right now it is just the word of another claiming he is not a suspect.

Grasping with you:
An older bank acct with another bank with a negative balance would prevent her from opening another bank acct when her identification is entered until the balance is resolved.
