I read on fb it was 2 men + 1 woman... hmm
This could be more selective info sharing as family and party train are only people that knew info. Not sure this can be sorted out here as information source is suspect IMO. The only piece I think we know for sure is that person that DV was
To be following back to Dublin’s was male.

Very true! This is honestly the first case I’ve ever sleuthed... I’m learning.. sorry!

Then what is your theory? Was this person just part of party train and not close friend? There must have been some relationship as DV flashed her lights at this person and was going to follow him back to Dublin’s to look for phone or that was the story. I have to say I’m now confused about how many people were at the gas station? DV + 1 or DV + 2 or DV + 3?

It’s also odd though as this “friend” is supposedly the person that drove back to Dublin’s and got the phone that was lost. Eventually the phone made it back to police. I hope it wasn’t tampered with by “friend” or someone at Dublin’s.

From the beginning the "Friends" story didn't add up. As it was originally reported that DV flashed her lights at him and they pulled over and then decided to follow each other back to Dublins. The "friend had said he got there, found the phone and then went home because DV didn't show up.

Just from personal experience when a friend doesn't show up I would typically go look for them etc. Especially if they were without their phone, (Very Important in this day in age).

I suspected that the "friend" was the one that knows or had something to do with her disappearance.

If the phone was truly left then the phone location would show that it was always at Dublins if not then we know immediately that he was lying.

Of course I am basing my entire theory on the information provided by JDT.

If going to Ollies was not true then I can guess that the guy was taking DV for a hookup or to score some drugs.

Drugs would explain him leaving the gas station and returning a few minutes later. Still the huge sticking point for me is the GPS being disabled. Even if JDT story is accurate then this would have to be something he has done before or planned earlier in the evening.

Same here! I actually grew up and lived in Mobile up until 2 years ago and still make trips down to visit family very often. This has been constantly on my mind since day one. And the fact that the local people of Mobile are not making a big deal and demanding answers over a young girl and her freakin car just vanishing has absolutely floored me!!! I can’t understand it and want to know what happened! People do not just disappear.

In 2 cars or 3 cars?
The Party included 3 not including DV.

(As stated by JDT) (If this is allowed)
Not known if any of them but one is male, the male is the one that was at the gas station.

RC - Friends with DV
MK and DW - Friends with RC

MK and RC leave Dublin's to go to Ollie's (Not known if the same or different vehicles)

DW leaves and DV follows (2 different vehicles), DV flashes lights at DW on I-65S and they get off the interstate and stop at the Shell Station. Both vehicles (A and B) show up on the video, Vehicle A leaves Vehicle B stays, Vehicle C (or A) pulls in next to Vehicle B. Both vehicles stay for 20 minutes and then both leave.

Hi folks. It’s been a couple+ days since I checked in and have barely skimmed. But indeed! What the hell is going on? I just thought it was crazy last time I was around. Turns out I was wrong. This whole thing is beyond belief.

When the cars were stopped at the gas station, does anyone know if they were parked at a pump (usually pretty well lit under the canopy)? Or were they in a regular parking spot (darker part of the lot)?

I can't say for 100% but out in the parking area. This gas station was closed at the time so there were no lights on at the pumps or in the parking lot. According to ones that saw the video, it was pretty dark.

Just called the shell station. They close at 10 during the week. Sat close at 9 pm and sun close at 8
Pm. This is not a 24 hr location. Maybe that is why the party train picked this location to stop? Ideas?

Also why stop at a gas station with poor lighting to look for your phone when lights were on and bright at the 24 hr location down the street?

Great question ... Considering to get from Dublin's to Ollie's you don't have to go anywhere near the interstate. You would typically leave Dublin's on Old Shell Road and head west and then south on Hillcrest.

Ollie's

Why pull into a dark station? Why does one car leave and then supposedly returns? Did DV leave her car and get in another vehicle? Did DV leave driving her own vehicle or was she drugged and jacked at the station and someone else drove her car out after disabling the gps?

Went back to FB to check. Sounds like 2 make and 1 unknown. I could not see where it was confirmed. And folks think the 1st and 3rd car are the same.
I am still confused. Will read it all again tonight when I have computer. Keep with it. I feel like we are getting closer!
