Well if this happens it’s not good for CC.

I really can’t think of any good scenario right now...I’ve been trying to think of some way this can have a positive outcome and I just can’t think of any. Anyone? Are there any practical positive scenarios at the moment?
Unfortunately, no. This case reminds me too much of the Tyshawn Lee murder. A little, innocent, 9-yo killed in retaliation. Makes me sick.

My understanding is that if a person is going to pay 10% cash they can be bonded out.

Putting up property for collateral is only for covering the entire bail amount IIRC - which in this case is $500,000. And we know $50,000 was enough to get him out, so my presumption is that was in cash.

The five basic release options available to an arrestee are, surety bond, release on his or her own recognizance(O.R.), release on citation ("Cite Out"),property bond and cash bail.

Depending on the State and the charges.

How Bail Works: bail, bail bond, and bail bonds

Another thing to note imo, again, is the expansion of the alert to neighboring States.

This of course could have just been done as as precaution to be extra thorough. However there is something to be potentially read (my favorite word, “potentially”) about this. Especially with the potential of the Super Highway which is @ Birmingham.

Fact check. How often do we see alerts expanded to neighboring States? I would be interested in specific cases for reference that are of course nonfamilial.

What date was that expansion made, need to check.

Something about the “expansion” again reeks of conspiracy and possible trafficking or passing off to other individual(s), likely nefarious, imo.

Again this is all strictly based on my attempt to try to read LE and their words and actions as clearly as possible.

I dunno...5’, 180lbs..kinda looks like a round ball. Albeit a small ball but still. She seems too small. WAY to small. This lady is a whale.
5'6" is tall for a woman I think. If you look at the picture when they were being taken, I think it looks as if she has broad shoulders and a small waist. jmo

It was expanded into TN quite quickly because of a possible TN license plate, I thought.

Would there be an instance where a private fund group posts the cash bail to allow LE to follow him closely in hopes he leads them to CC?

Alabama allows property bonds. Vehicles, houses or lands. An appraiser values the collateral and court puts a lien on the property until the trial is complete.

Yes, I understand that. But when they only pay 10% - as he did - it is usually through a bondsman who requires the 10% in cash then the bondsman assures the entire $500,000 bail amount.

From what I understand, a judge can put a lien on property to ensure the court gets the $500,000 if he skips town. But I don't think a bail bondsman can put a lien on property for just 10% of the bail amount?

Happy to be wrong, just not finding any links that say what (I think) you are telling me.

ETA: Just saw your 2nd response to my post, I think you get what I am trying to say. That $50,000 cash was likely given to a bondsman who then covered the $500,000 bail amount.

I hear ya.

IMO the bottom line here is that LE has said that by all indications so far, they suspect that this is a random abduction. We have two POIs that we need to be sleuthing the heck out of. LE has clearly said there is no relation to the family that they know of. Here at WS we are supposed to proceed in a direction that is in accordance with the information and direction that we get from LE.

Again, let’s look at our stats, the rarity of this crime. Her age, and imo most importantly, the fact that there could be other persons involved.

What does this tell us, “other persons involved”. This to me indicates some sort of “conspiracy”.

Let’s talk about motives here. What on earth motive do we have for a potential conspiracy of individuals to abduct a random three year old child. Also what type of “capabilities” would such persons possess? Well, with the POIs at the moment, we’ve got clear evidence of exploitation (CP) and violence (DV). Not to mention kidnapping.

Again, of course family is 101 in any investigation.

But what is LE telling us?

Often the involvement of “other individuals” involves “Felony Accessory After the Fact”. But I get the impression (and I could be wrong) that this reference to others is not in relation to that charge.

I believe in Cupcake's case the female part of the kidnapping team was to make her feel more comfortable, and at ease when kidnapped, and to be involved in what happened afterwards.

Imo she was a willing participant and willing facilitator in order to kidnap the victim, and keep her under control.

I am seeing many cases on true crime shows of late in sexual abuse cases of children, and adults where males, a females team up to do the horrific crimes.

It's something similiar of what we are seeing in many stranger home invasions now.

The involved females are being used as bait, and are the ones knocking on the stranger's door pretending they need assistance of some kind. They are actually an integral part of the violent team. Many homeowners have been brutally murdered now across our country with both males, and females being the violent offenders equally participating once the female got the homeowners to open their doors, even late at night, although its happening in broad daylight now too.

Jmho tho

You are correct. I somehow missed the last half of your post. In some cases it’s record the property to be worth 1.5 more.

From that area you could get on 65 and be in Tennessee in 3.5 hours, I-20 and you’re in Atlanta in 1.5 hours.

Anyone sleuthed any more info on the 2 POIs?

It was expanded into TN quite quickly because of a possible TN license plate, I thought.

There were 2 initial States, then another State was added, iirc.

Per this timeline, the expansion was made on Monday, October 14, the day after the arrest of PS and QJ:

Searching for Kamille McKinney: No evidence for missing B’ham toddler found in multiple searches

Hmmmm...

We know that they have denied any involvement, so we can’t say they did that because they said they passed her off.

So it either means:

A) They are just being super thorough

B) They might suspect that these individuals passed her off.

C) Something else unrelated to PS/QJ inspired this.

Excellent reference, thank you. Perhaps these proximities are in themselves what inspired the expansion, nothing more.

Possibly. Didn’t BPD search tom Brown village again after the alert was expanded?

Any info on the attorneys? Are they public defenders or did they each retain their own lawyers? Or are they working pro bono?

Have each POI always lived in Birmingham? Other places? Any kidnappings/attempted kidnappings/crimes against kids in other places they have lived?

How long have they been living together. Stallworth's attorney (I think that's who said it) described it as a dating situation. Do people who are just dating generally live together?

Why aren't reporters digging up more info on these two? Do they know something we don't? No one seems to be digging, even non-local newspapers etc, which makes me think none of them know much more than we do.

What kind of people do they hang around? Sketchy individuals? Normal individuals? Where do they work? Where do they hang out? How long have they lived at that apartment? Reason for the move? Do they belong to any groups or clubs? We know she has kids and why they don't live with her; does he have any? Shared custody?

Exes for either of these two? What do they have to say about them? Previous neighbors? Family members? Anyone being vocal in their defense?

I wish LE would address the rumors going around on social media.

  • #318
I don't know what her face is saying either, but she looks sad rather than angry to me. Imo

Her face is saying “she was at the wrong place at the wrong time”
I think the only thing she has to do with CC missing is she was with Patrick when LE arrived. She’s the wrong color too.

It is of course Good anytime we hear from LE about anything, especially if they have the time to set people straight and dispel misinformation, etc., particularly if it’s harmful to the case. The Chief said that “Social Media is going to do what Social Media does” and that they “do monitor SM but will proceed with their investigation based on facts”.

Every second counts, and perhaps there are things that are more pressing at this time.

Yes they did which I noted in this regard as well; however this is SP, moo. It is common to return to the original scene multiple times. It would also be SP and thorough practice to completely clear that area, as well as try to talk to more people with whom initial attempt for contact failed.

ETA:

Bringing this article forward (there are many other references on the subject):
$150 billion human trafficking industry flows through Birmingham

Someone who exploits teenagers, etc. for profit may not be opposed to exploiting someone much younger for profit, moo. Maybe someone who engages in trafficking doesn’t discriminate in any way.

Again, remember as rare and as sick as it is, it does happen. Article from last week if anyone missed it:

Feds take down the world's 'largest dark web child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 marketplace'
