It saddens me that they were taken into custody without the baby.

Where are you lil cupcake!? Bless you and all your family. I hope she’s found safe and alive this morning. I feel for her traumatized family. They deserve peace.

  • #405
Please find her safe. Please let them have left her somewhere safe, and that's why they weren't worried about leaving the vehicle outside their home and being caught.

Is this just random?....like the couple was out shopping for a cute child, and grabs one up from an innocent birthday party, and takes off?

This is getting so out of control. WTH?
I am starting to think a trafficking ring that moves around a lot.

I haven’t been able to get this child’s smiling face out of the forefront of my mind for the past 24 hours. I want nothing more than resolution for this family and for Cupcake to come home. Where are you, sweet girl?

Father of Kamille McKinney pleads for someone to bring his little girl home
  • Kamille’s father says he’s watched and helped police search the area.
  • “They went to all of the empty apartments, we checked every cut, trashcan, ditch, dumpster, bush, car, anything around here that was abandoned and anything you could look under, we checked it,” says McKinney.
  • “I’m out here in the rain, I ain’t had no sleep. She’s coming home,” he said.
  • He’s begging, pleading, for someone to bring her back to her family.
  • “Drop her off anywhere. Just let her out. Somebody will see her. Everybody knows what’s going on. Just take her to the store and let her out somebody is going to see her. They know what’s going on and that will be the end of this. We just want the baby back,” says McKinney.

I will say that I am extremely shocked to wake up and find she's not home.

I think either they somehow have the wrong person/people or there's a whole lot more to the story that some close family knows and is not saying. Most of my thoughts on that are from random rumors on Facebook, which may only have a sliver of truth to them if any at all.

Does anyone know if it was children who gave the description of the vehicle or other adults happened to see it as well? I just don't think my pre-teen would be able to give that accurate of a description to where LE had it pinned down that quickly. Maybe they viewed nearby surveillance and nailed it down based on bits and pieces from other children.

The initial description of the vehicle in post #1 was a dark-colored SUV. When the Amber Alert was issued, we had this:

Vehicle Information
  • Make: Toyota
  • Model: 4 Runner
  • Year: Older Model
  • Color: Black
  • Description: With rims and a tan protruding bumper.
The description of the Sequoia came out with the news of the couple luring children with candy, and LE's review of surveillance footage.

Basically, the vehicle description was furthered as the investigation continued. MOO

The FBI doesn't know Mickey Mouse from Minnie? o_O:oops:

LE also said “Mickey Mouse” in the initial PC.

Ah, so they do have a woman?!

A black woman, not white woman (catching up).

Probably, but it may offer at least a bit of hope that they wouldn't harm a small child if they have children themselves...

Unfortunately there are many violent abductors out there with children of their own.

I haven’t been able to get this child’s smiling face out of the forefront of my mind for the past 24 hours. I want nothing more than resolution for this family and for Cupcake to come home. Where are you, sweet girl?

Welcome slyfox5. :)

I think she will be found today. I get the feeling this is not a stranger abduction. Someone knew there would be a birthday party at that location. The police are moving in fast, whoever as her will let her go.

Just joining and not totally caught up.

Toyota 4 Runner vs Sequoia - two different vehicles, four different suspects? Or, was Sequoia mistaken for a 4 Runner?

Darn. I was hoping to wake up and see that she was located safe. It sounds like the POI isn't talking. ggrrrr

I know, grrrrrr.

Question, any chance this female has a light complexion and could have been mistaken for a while female? Is she perhaps biracial? Or is there another (white) girlfriend?

What the heck is the motive here?

I too am waiting for confirmation that these individuals are indeed the ones responsible for her disappearance, that they had the correct vehicle and suspect images from the beginning.

Nothing else to add atm. :(

ETA: Actually, if there’s ever a time to talk for the suspect it is now, if she hasn’t been harmed. Because you know LE is grilling them hard and I’m sure they’d rather take a kidnapping charge than murder rap if they did not indeed kill her.

If these are indeed the right suspects then why the hell isn't she with them? Either they passed her off to someone or killed her. What other options are there?

Have they been booked and charged with anything yet?

I sure hope so.

Same vehicle. They said in the beginning that it was possibly a Toyota 4 Runner. They may have showed photos to the children who saw it and came up with that. MOO

We can't rule that out. Even the neighbor said that they had just moved in three months ago.

Yeah, it seems we can’t rule anything out at this moment.

I anticipate a PC soon, maybe this morning, that basically says they have identified and arrested the suspects but have not located Cupcake, and will appeal to the public for any information. This is of course presumably if they DO have the right suspect(s) and they are not talking.

Man this sucks!!!!
