Yes! That or the pajama jumpsuits too. It looks like it may have money on it?? But my eyesight is definitely not the best. MOO
I thought it looked like prison stripes! Lol

That's what I thought too. So, that looks like a jumpsuit (printed) to me. Quite popular right now.
Could be. The bottoms look more like leggings to me but it's hard to tell because when I zoom in, it gets pretty blurry. But, they look snug at the ankles. Jogging suit, maybe? I dunno. Just looking for any clue as to where these people may have come from.

He has unusual shoes. She has what looks like an unusual outfit. MOO

What is their gender?
It does not appear that she was too concerned about blending in? Does it?

So, hypothetically, if these persons of interest had outstanding warrants on other charges would that have been made known by now?

I’m wondering if these people are actually involved. It could be the wrong car.

I mean who takes a kid the way they did, in front of people, in their own car (not a rental), and then stay in the area?

I wondered that too! Almost looks like a skeleton costume. Ahh... really wondering what was going on ... and where is Cupcake? Why aren’t these people talking?
I noticed the outfit right away, even in the darker photos. Also, it sounds like they are talking but obviously not saying where she is OR they truly don’t know because they handed her off to someone else. So sad.

Maybe an outfit something like this with a different print.

Agreed... wondering if we will get a new vehicle of interest soon if they did hand her off...

I almost positive I remember the dad saying that the mom does not live in that housing complex.

A skeleton was my very first thought! Lol I guess that's how I got "costume" in my head. MOO

Could be a jogging outfit. Also, some of the jumpsuits today are gathered or tied at the ankles.
In any event tho, it's a loud looking outfit for potentially being on the run!

Human trafficking isn’t only sexual. Human trafficking of children for organs is a real thing. Some believe higher in black children because they don’t get the media attention other children when they go missing. So they fly under the radar better.

I’m not saying this is the case here.

I guess we don't know if the mom and the people at the party knew she was immediately taken by a stranger. If only one kid saw it amongst a whole sea of other kids and I'm sure it was absolutely insane frantic chaos once they realized she wasn't there, I can see running around frantically/shouting her name as an instinctive first effort before it got around what the kid saw. I guess we also don't know just how long it was before that call was made.
True. I didn’t think that through very well. I guess the boy was the only one who knew. I don’t know when or what he actually told the adults. He may not have said he saw her taken by the man until after they started looking or he may have run immediately to an adult and said a man just grabbed Kamille. We don’t know how that went down yet.

Really dumb people. Money talks.

Kamille 'Cupcake’ McKinney abduction: Man detained after 3-year-old taken from Birmingham birthday party
[...]

Smith said despite the detention of two persons of interest taking into custody Sunday night, “unfortunately investigators have not received any information on the whereabouts of Kamille at this time.”

[...]

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency at 11:45 p.m. issued an emergency Amber Alert. Police on Sunday night released photos of a possible suspect that were taken by surveillance cameras at a nearby convenience store. Also Sunday night, ALEA issued a second Amber Alert with updated suspect information.

[...]

Smith said they are conduction extensive interviews with those detained and said at this time, they have not uncovered any connection between the suspects and Kamille’s family members. "The most important thing we do with any investigation is to remain open, keep our minds open and follow every lead,'' Smith said. “We have to focus on the evidence and where it leads us.”

The police chief said he does believe others are involved in the abduction, but declined to elaborate. He said they have done an exhaustive searching for video evidence linking the suspects to the crime. "We’re putting the pieces of the puzzle together but it takes time to follow the leads, the trails,'' he said.

[...]

Agencies assisting Birmingham police include the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency and the National Center for Exploited and Missing Children.

The first thing I thought of was a zebra print.
To add, if someone were planning on taking a child, wouldn't they dress less conspicuous for the crime? I don't know if she's involved or not, or maybe it was a sudden crime of opportunity, but I would think if one were planning to be involved in a crime they wouldn't want to stand out. But hey, I've never been involved in anything of this nature. But I will say, I would dress for the occasion.

Wow. Lol. I wish I felt like you. My kids are 18 and 22 now and we live in a very safe neighborhood but I don’t think I’d allow my children under the age of 5 to be outside in the dark without me watching. I just couldn’t as a mom. This girl was three and it was dark and it’s a pretty sketchy looking complex. The chances of this happening ARE slim and none but a toddler shouldn’t be without an adult after dark. JMO. Nothing meant against you in this post. Don’t want you to think I’m being negative towards you. It’s sad kids can’t play and be safe.

Oh... I completely agree with you. I have no qualms about sending my child with a sibling in a safe environment. We don't live in a neighborhood and I won't even let that 12 year old go check the mail because I can't see the box from the house. I have let them play in several trusted areas, though. I certainly wouldn't feel safe in their neighborhood, but maybe they did? Just a few miles away, I walked several places with just me and my youngest child during a conference at the BJCC. We've walked from the conference center up to Top Golf. UAB isn't too far away and there's a large children's hospital, medical community and teaching college. There's people out and about walking there all the time, but I would be nervous. Heck... I consider the entire Bham area unsafe, but then I didn't feel unsafe walking in the small area next to the BJCC that was well lit and seemed more controlled. Maybe these families feel the same? I mean, if they didn't feel it was safe to them, certainly they wouldn't live there, much less have a birthday party?

There's lots of busy roads very close by. One takes you straight to the airport and interstate. I need to look at the location where the POIs were located in reference to the community.

I live in Georgia, no Amber Alert. I would think as a bordering state, we would have got one.
