Hi Free, GOSH, my heart just skipped a couple of beats watching KOIN News at 6pm on their Kyron spot. I haven't even looked to see if they have a new link yet;
They showed a diagram of a boat with electronic signals going down thru a body of water to the bottom . Sonar, which is what they used today. And the reporter said they had found something on the bottom that the sonar kept bouncing off of. Hope that makes sense. Will look for a link.

ETA: I wanted to add I know a little bit about sonar from the Scott Peterson case. The Sonar really shows a picture on a monitor on the boat of what it is bouncing off of. Even in the murky waters of the San Francisco Bay return channel to Richmond Harbor, they saw amazing detail when they spotted a body. Gene Ralston, the Sonar Captain, wrote to me in an email it was proven to be Laci they saw that day once they matched their Sonar photo prints with her remains when she washed ashore.
Now on the news they also pointed out this was a dismal time of year to be operating underwater searches, mid November and the recent rains making the water cold and hard to see thru.
My point being I don't think KOIN would have mentioned this on the news unless something interesting to Kyron's case has been found. LE has some info about SI or they never would be concentrating all of these searches on the island waters. IMO
God Bless Kyron and I so hope he is found soon now. xox
