Did he give you his name? (and is she allowed to post that name here?)

  • #1,542
I did tell him that I am familar with the place now after the fact. That just a few feet in from the treeline the place becomes like a bowl and it would hold water. It was just after Fay.

When he was leaving, I said that I never even expected a call to begin with. With kind of a smirk he said well they only gave us 32 names and yours was not on it. You were on Suburban Drive, they were supposed to give us the names of ANYONE on Suburban. We found 150 more people. Acting like TES is/was up to something. Well, I didn't have anything help him. Just because there was not water on the road does not do them any good. The road is not a bowl like the area where Caylee was found.

Hello EU !

Per letter D, in the order, the defense cane proceed without judicial approval based on the answers given on the phone:

http://www.ninthcircuit.org/news/Hi...cuments in Possession of Texas Equusearch.pdf

YUP, there it is alright...Thank You nums24

If questions 1-4 in part C are asked and the Defense deems further investigation or questioning is appropriate then the field report form is released to them and they can conduct further investigation as they deem appropriate

Defense is playing games with this! The 32 were those within 50 yards of the site where the remains were found... :banghead:

Thanks nums! I knew you would know right away. Don't know why I thought that there was one more gate in place before the defense could contact them. But it clearly states, "In the event after the above questions are asked, the Defense determines that further investigation or questioning is appropriate, then the search field activity form of the identified searcher shall be released to the Defense so they may conduct their further investigation as they may deem appropriate."

Ugh, I thought the order was tighter than this. Sorry.

He did keep asking about water in the area. He kept asking if I saw water on Suburban Drive. Now my answer is no to did I see water ON Suburban Drive the road. No, standing water to run a car through. He kept asking a few ways the same question. Finally I had to say. This is what I saw and can say is the truth to what I saw. No water on the actual road. I could NOT see into the woods and tell if there was water or not. I can't even say I looked over there more than to notice there were woods there. We were driving to our next search location.

Did your point about no water ON Subruban dr, the road, as opposed to yes or no if water in the wooded area where the remains were found get across to the investigator?

I know he asked about water "on" Suburban Dr but IMO he was trying to trip up your answer to see if could benefit their theory.

I don't remember the Order but I don't think it said that TES had to give the names of every single searcher that went out to the Suburdan drive "area" to search.:waitasec:

Many, like yourself, searched the wooded area by the school but the 32 identified searched the area closer to where the remains were found
IMO the Defense has been given permission to cast a wider net in order for them to ensnare that someone who can give them the information that will benefit them and their theory.

I told him that we were not the first team to be in that area. The area had already been searched prior to us getting there.

I have no idea if our team leader wrote we were there or not. I didn't see any papers he filled out at all, one way or the other. The only paper I ever filled out to my recollection was the volunteer form at the staging area. I certainly never filled out any report on where we searched and what was found. I know that for sure.

I certainly hope the point got across. I tried to make sure he knew what I was saying.
I knew exactly what he was trying to get me to say. After a few ways he tried to ask the same thing different ways I said. This is what I will say is the truth from what I saw. NO water on the Road. didn't see into the woods and not even sure I looked there other than to notice there were woods. CAN NOT tell you there was NO water in the woods.

I know there was water in there, I just could not say and be truthfull that I got out of the car walked to and then into the woods and stepped into or saw water. Like I said the area is like a bowl just a few feet from the treeline and forms a bowl that would most certainly hold water.

^ I don't know if this helps but it was in a video of herself visiting the site, 6 minutes in she mentions the trail that leads to the Anthony home http://www.wftv.com/video/25098994/index.html.

There was mention early on of a gate being left open possibly to the side of the Anthony yard.
This was in the beginning, with talk of the ladder being up against the swimming pool; that Cindy was concerned about neighbor kids perhaps sneaking into their pool.

So, with that info, I wonder if the gate opened into an open yard next door that Casey could have used to have snuck out the back way to get the final resting spot of Caylee??
Or, maybe those neighbors had an additional gate/door on the back fence line if their yard was enclosed also.

Our neighbors have 3 gates to access out of their yard - one to each side, and the other one on the back so they can mow and do upkeep a foot or so from the fence on the back side of it.

Caylee weighed, what maybe 30 pounds? I don't see KC carrying a body weighing 30 pounds far, only as far as her trunk. Plus not sure even KC would put it that close to a trial. jmo

I think that is the form being referred to in the order..if that form had your name, number and address than it would give the Defense the information they needed to contact you personally.

It was about 45 minutes ago, there was a knock at the door and there was this older man standing there. I thought he was selling something. He asked if I was me. and I said yes. He then said he was a private investigator for the defense team of Casey Anthony. I let him in because i have nothing to hide and to tell the truth I was curious what he was going to say. He asked if I knew why he was there and I said yes, because of the answers I gave during the phone call.

I don't want to lose this so I will post it bits sorry

fla*mom, you did exactly the right thing. I hope they leave you alone now.

The 'smirk' he left with doesn't surprise me - everyone associated with that defense team has that expression mastered and they wear them proudly.

I believe in the justice system and a defendant's right to a vigorous defense. BUT, the fact that there are no restrictions - that anyone who ever searched for Caylee by simply walking down Suburban Dr. is fair game is just wrong. This whole thing makes my blood boil. :furious:

Didn't think I really would get follow up call let alone someone come to the door.

Just tell yourself that it's your tax dollars at work.

I wonder how long it will be before the defense demands to question anyone who has read anything on the case? They are fishing and will continue until they find the ONE person who will corroborate their theory. They have nothing and they are trying to manufacture something imo
