When a news cycle focuses on Ms. Kerley, Mr. Kronk, River, and now TES, it is easy to forget...but don't be fooled the defense is still busy looking for ways to throw Tony and or Jesse under the bus for this crime. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvldjqJlPcA[/ame]

The defense wanted all of Tony and Jesse's phone records, even for the time period after Casey was jailed to see if they potentially were anywhere near the site where Caylee was put, among other reasons. :banghead:

In the first minute on the tape, Mr. Baez admits here that rather than having the proof Todd spoke of, the defense still had not reviewed / interviewed the TES members and bounced things around, his words.
Here Mrs. Drane-Burdick takes the defense to school. Watch the look on the interns ( I assume that is what they are ) faces, they are sitting on the defense side. "It does not even come close. It is a FARCE!" she argues.

Love her.
The judge gave Mr. Baez until February 1st of this year to come up with the said proof and his witness list. He is sixty days late!

You just can't make this stuff up!

I am sooooooooooo confused! The motions from the defense are all dated 11/09, but the response from MN is dated 3/10/10?? Am I missing something? What made MN respond at this time or did JB et al file something that I'm not seeing? And as for LB,why is someone from north NJ going down to FL to search??

See #10 of this motion from the prosecution's response.

They smackdown the defense, their laziness, frivilous motions, blames others for their inactions, wasting the honorable courts time and taxpayers money. They go on to say how the defense is shirking their responsiblities and blames others for their inactions in obtaining, reviewing or evaluating these records. They had been advised to go to TES' attorneys office to view these records and still have not done so. They are asking for the Honorable court to assess attorneys fees against the counsel for the defendant especially since he has been advised on the inaccuracy of defendants motions and since they failed to make remedial actions. This caused unnecessary attorney time and court time to be wasted especially since the defendant through her counsel has been fully advised of the misrepresentations and inaccuracies and nevertheless continues to proceed. This is especially egregious to this Honorable court set forth guidelines and requirements for the parties to address files concering the searchers and these dictates were ignored and disregarded by the defendant through her counsel...they want this motion denied and attorney fees awarded to TES.

I just love the SAO, they are wise, more experienced, on the ball and ready for the defense NOW. They are inundated with frivilous motions and now since it rests on the taxpayers, the SA's will find a way to have the defense scolded harshly and fined for their stubborness, if it can be called that for lack of a better, more respectful word. If this proves anything, it proves how lazy and unprepared the defense are at this point and time.

I can't wait for this trial to happen for we will see one absurd testimony after the other, all to be overshadowed by a very prepared, eloquent and tedious prosecution, who IMO, will prevail, all in Caylee's name, for Caylee and only Caylee. Everything the defense has or will come up with (also CA/GA like the rotting pizza or the dead squirrel), have already been debunked and will continue to debunk anything the defense will try to cause reasonable doubt. I just love the prosecution for they will make minced meat out of Inmate Anthony and her ridiculous SODDI theory...I can't wait! :twocents:

I believe this is the original motion filed, Baez had guidelines set up. I'm guessing he's using the same motion with modifications on them..JMHO

In the last tape, Brad steps forward and goes against what the defense just argued that there is a conflict of interest regarding Mr. Nejame, he tells the court there is not one, and his clients specifically waive it if one did exist.
Over the course of this matter, Jose, Andrea, and Todd all brought this alleged conflict and possible ethics concern against Mr. Nejame up to the judge. They just never learn! They have tried everything under the sun, having the dp removed, having the prosecutors thrown off the case, having charges dropped, you name it. It is no surprise they are still trying this, it is par for the course from them. I don't think there was any urgency to respond to their nonsense that they have no hope of prevailing on. Perhaps Mr. Nejame decided to respond with the same speed and enthusiasm that the defense has taken to reschedule the appointment they made to come review the documents half a year ago.

Caseys own words- Zenaida took Caylee... what possible information can Texas Equi have about the case. Baez seems to want to point to others as possible suspects in the disappearance of Caylee even when Casey insisted to everyone that Zenaida the nanny took Caylee.

I've been thinking about what exactly it is that TES does.
Can you imagine, his daughter was murdered and every day of his life, every single day of his life, he gets up and helps families search for their missing kids, in all conditions, against all odds, all across the country..... for very little thanks and no pay? To me he is Jimmy Stuart, the valiant knight, Santa Claus, and the hero cowboy in the white hat all rolled in to one. I don't even know the last truly good, good thing I did, let alone make a life of service. You know what, I betcha Tim can handle anything the Anthonys and the defense throw at him. I should not worry about him. I can count on my hand the people that have inspired me. He has, not because he is perfect, but because for these kids he keeps showing up, day after day, year after year, over a thousand searches !!! He and others took the horrible treatment they received from the Anthonys and turned their time in Florida into something wonderful. There is now a T E S branch there to help families going forward. Impressive, huh?

If someone did what you fear, falsified TES documents...without question they need to be held criminally responsible.

I keep thinking about something that happened to me. I was in a car accident, serious one about 3 years ago. I wasn't at fault, my car was totalled and I was injured, broken bones etc. Anyway, suddenly the defense had a witness, someone who claimed to have been at the accident whom they mysteriously found MONTHS later. This person stated it was my fault although the police didn't ticket me, they ticketed the other driver. My lawyer, high profile DC lawyer put a PI on this person. As it turns out this "witness" worked with the defendants MOTHER. They were at WORK when the accident happened, it was all fully documented etc. Needless to say their witness wasn't really a witness but other a big fat FRAUD.

There are people out there that LOVE the limelight and attention of something like this. People are just straight up whack, I don't trust them. There is also a thought of witnesses being paid to tell "stories" I've always wondered where that other chunk of change went that was paid to KC:waitasec:

Your story brings to mind the mysterious Laura Buchanan,
she claimed to have searched with Joe Jordan, and he has no idea whatsoever who she is, says she told him she is a KY LEO. She filled out forms saying he searched with her at Blanchard Park, where he is adamant he did not search!! She was working with the defense and asked Mort to call Mr. Jordan. WTH?

I found that Laura Buchanan is a friend of Cindy and George. She posted a message to Caylee publicly back in October of 2008 wherein she gushes about them and how much they love Caylee. It is www.respectance.com/CayleeAnthony/index/236 on page two. Now I will look into if she has or is in LE in Kentucky. IF she did present herself as that and she is not, that is a crime. Her criminal background check , like Ms. Kerley's, will be published I am sure now that folks know she is a friend of the Anthonys of course everyone will look into everything about her veracity. Of course it is no crime to be friends with the Anthonys , but it does bring into focus potential motives for her working with the defense. One always has to consider the source, especially in a case like this that brings out the Wrays , et al ,that are how shall I say this politely, troubled.

What are the Penalties for Impersonating a Police Officer?
Depending on state law, impersonating a police officer may be considered either a felony or a misdemeanor. Punishments for impersonating a police officer include:

* Imprisonment up to five years (sometimes more)
* Fines (usually $1000 or more)
* Probation
* Permanent criminal record

It is in Mr. Jordan's statement, in transcript two that she told him she was KY LE. Maybe she is, but if she is not...this will not bode well for her to be considered a reliable witness, at all! Whether she committed a crime by doing so, I suppose depends on what lengths she went to presenting herself as a LEO. I am not looking to have her charged, but if she lied, that is important. The best predictor if someone is lying about other matters is if you have caught them lying already.
Moreover, this is so easily disproved that it would seem to indicate more character weakness and emotional immaturity for one to present themselves as a law enforcement officer. Denis of the KFN, for example, is a prime example of this type of deception. Birds of a feather rather flock together, so being a friend of Cindy's it will not shock me in the least to learn it is true that she lied about this and everything else.

The more the defense jumps up and down about wanting TES records, when we know they do not really, the more bad facts come out from the TES records. If this lady lied or falsified documents in any manner regarding TES, this is a nightmare for the defense. Rut row. Will the good guys in this case please stand up?

I am looking forward to the hearing on Monday! I stand with Mr. Miller, and I believe that he is, has and will tell the truth and the truth will prevail for Caylee!!! Shame on anyone who lied in this case.


My posts are just my opinion, it could turn out that she was being honest or she was honestly mistaken. I am only saying we now know she is a friend of the Anthonys and we need to look at that closely before we take her statements at face value.

Thank you TWA for posting your hypothosis in this matter about Laura B. and the links to the documents you referred to. I agree that it has long been held that the best predictor of future behaviors is past behavior however, people do make mistakes and learn from them and move on. In addition, there is always a first time for everything. I have been "snookered" before by people I truly trusted and believed in. I have stood up for people that I learned later were not worthy of my accolades. Hopefully this is just a person who wanted to help and thought they were doing the best thing - given what they knew at the time. Baez is probably not driving the boat in this case anymore, IMO he has too many opinions on his team to be a significant voice. (At least that is my hypothosis).

In the last doc dump, Laura's form says she has an address in Kentucky, and is employed by "Dept Fish" (and Game?). This would be law enforcement. I think she wanted Joe J. to think she was with a police dept or Sheriff's Office though.
Joe J. said in his interview that he had looked up Laura B. and found about 10 pages on the internet about her, and that she was a friend of the Anthonys! Joe said he would get the info he found on Laura and give it to LE.

I absolutely LOVED it in court when Mark NeJames kind of turned toward the defense table while he was delivering his argument and told them "Come by after court and look at them!" Hilarious...I also loved how he compared the "burden" of them coming to his office to all their media interviews, etc...I think he is one awesome attorney and I absolutely LOVE his way with words...so simple and so effective. I wonder if Jose has NOW arranged to go and have a look-see at the docs?

It is interesting that the Prosecution motioned to get the transcript from the hearing where TM stated assertively that Caylee's body was placed there after KC was in jail, yet never produced the evidence to support that statement.

To me this is the proverbial cart before the horse. The Defense was authoritatively stating a 'fact' in court that they are now seeking TES records to try to substantiate (fabricate).

I think it once again paints the Defense in a bad light that they are fishing for info to support their theory rather than developing info from an investigation and basing a theory on that.

And they may have been fearful to go to court on the 30th without at least giving the impression they were trying to do what the judge told them to do, twice. What I want to see is how they answer JB if he asks them how many depositions they've done so far. lol
