It's not exact. Caylee was found on the other side of Hopesprings drive.

Yes you're right, I went back and edited it on the two merged maps.

I can't wait to read the whole thing! The article mentions allegations, not facts. I wonder if they defended their cause or perhaps threw in some legal references? Is "thwarting defense efforts" to go on a fishing expedition illegal? Sorry for the sarcasm...

I hope MM or the media will post the actual filing too! No apologies needed LOL. I wish there was a sarcasm font!

I think the allegations are kind of ironic, JB criticizing MN for possibly writing a book, how much did JB receive for Caylee's pictures?

Regardless of the MN allegations, what in the world does that have to do with the bad faith motion?

Wait, wait, wait....I'm confused. Didn't the judge tell JB to go over the MN's office to look at the files, along with a judge who would oversee their note taking. Have they not done that???????? So, now they are not happy with those arrangements....??????

Nejame wants to block it from happening at all.

Here is HHJP's order: http://www.ninthcircuit.org/news/Hi...ior Rulings by Disqualified Judge 7-21-10.pdf

Judge Perry gave MN until 8/2/10 to file the bad faith motion, so I assumed that the next thing would either be a hearing or a ruling before the viewing of the documents occurred. So I am just as confused as you.

JB is not only being petty but he seems to have mastered the art of mud slinging. I hope we get to see filing soon.
This all seems like such a waste of the court's time. jmo

- "Solicited the Anthony family"? Does JB now represent George and Cindy Anthony? If not how is he in any way a party to any arrangements or dealings between them or what grounds does he have to bring such things before the court?

- "he thwarted the defense", ummm he protected his client, his clients records, and where possible the privacy of his clients business and staff, which is his obligation before the court. Above and beyond that at least this much of the arrangements between MN and the A's is public. He was at no time a representative of KC. At no time was he in any way responsible for or a participant in her defense. Acting in the interests of his client is not an unethical or questionable practice, when it does not run counter to the ethics of the profession, the law and the judges orders. I am thinking that this is not a can of worms that JB should be kicking over given some real questionable moves on his part. (Hmmm? How exactly did DC and company find their way to the spot where the body was?)

- "He's fishing for a book deal", once again what exactly is JB's standing to make this claim? He does not represent the A's. He is not a participant in any arrangements between MN and the A's nor the terms of such arrangements. So what exactly is his basis for this complaint? Plus is questions about backroom media deals really something that JB thinks stirring up news, blog and courtroom discussion of, would be a good thing for himself? Really?

Further JB hasn't figured out by now that he has lost what little lattitude that he might have once had with the judge, who is increasingly looking very poorly on these constant nuisance motions?

I am dying to see the actual motion. I can't help wondering if it will be written in purple crayon.

Where's R.Hornsby when you need him? I can't wait to hear what he makes of the latest Baez fiasco.

MN filed his bad faith motion on 7/22/10. HHJP had previously given the defense a deadline of 8/25/10 to complete the TES document review. However, part of his Order specified that he would not consider any in camera review of docs (i.e., review, consider or rule on which searchers could be investigated) UNTIL AND AFTER hearing MN's arguments on his bad faith motion.

So, I am assuming this is the defense's response to MN's motion. Has a hearing date been set yet? If so, I missed it and have not entered it on the calendar.

If it helps to clear up anything - the hearing could be held before OR after the defense reviews the TES docs. Either way, Judge Perry won't rule on the searchers until after he hears MN's argument in re. his bad faith motion.

No hearing date scheduled yet, soon maybe now that JB filed response?

Thank you, that was my understanding too.

I am positive that paragraph 4 of this motion does not make sense. I also don't know what a "ROAD RIGHT AWAY" is (PARA 6).

All I can say is that I hope the JAC refuses payment of JB's PI who interviewed someone about a future book deal. As a FL resident our school's are asking parents to send in paper towels, toilet paper, copy paper and dry erase markers since the budget it stretched so thin. Yet JB presents this motion for what I believe will just add another chapter to his future book or movie deal. Meanwhile, costing the state of FL money that we don't have.

At this point there has to be something unethical if not with his motions then with his stradegy which seems to be to spend as much of JAC's money as possible on nonsense.

The inescapable conclusion, therefore, is that, if there is evidence ofthe searches ofthe area revealing the absence of the remains, then the discovery proves, conclusively, that somebody else had to put the remains there. While this does not necessarily mean that the Defendant was in no way involved in the death ofthe child (by whatever manner and means), it certainly raises a substantial reasonable doubt as to her culpability.

....Oh honey. Still swattin' at that fly?
