Doing a quick drive by here. Seems that if JB found 100 people or more that claim they were on Suburban Dr. and the SAO found possibly 32, could that mean that 68+ folks are looking for their 15 minutes of fame .... naw, just two ... JB and Cheney. Won't happen.
I do hope that TES and the magistrate are managing their sanity while over seeing this _________(fill in the blank).
Back to video editing.
I was and am being sarcastic towards JB and Cheney in that they were the only two who would and have. Searching for searchers .... coming up blank. Seems to be an on-going theme in their defense work. Blank, blank, blank is all they find at every turn they make.
Actually I don't believe anyone with morals and ethics would be looking for 15 minutes of fame who searched for Caylee. I have the utmost respect for you and all the other good, kindhearted searchers who gave up their time and emotions to search for Caylee. Tim for all he has done and will continue to do in the future. Yo'll are truly heros.
I thought 5th amendment applied to the accused (felony) and not to the people (potential witnesses) being questioned in an active investigation? Am I wrong?
Although, it IS my understanding that there is no legal duty to answer questions I do wonder how/if refusal to cooperate could be interpreted as interfering/hindering in an investigation. (Cops write reports for this all the time and the State levies charges for same)
Attorney input appreciated...
Thanks
I think it is very real to those that have been called. JMO
If it were me and I received the call, I would state that for verification purposes, please provide me with a phone number of where YOU can be reached, and I will call YOU back!!
OR.....send me a letter as I do not answer personal questions over the phone. You never know who you are talking to these days. jmo
yes it is very real for me at least. I have been clamed down, back to normal almost from the caring people here. That have pointed out these things to me. I have actually put in a call to Mark Nejames office and explained what happened on my call and how all this media or at least defense talk about more people ect.... and thought that by my answers that I might be in that crowd. After a few minute wait, they were busy at that moment in a meeting and they took my name and number and said someone will call back. Even if I don't get a call, I am confident I have nothing for the defense.
I can say for me when the call came it was a man. Pretty serious sounding and he read the script (at the time I didn't know this or that he was being watched) He never said anything was recorded. Just started with the question. And as I previously said at first I just really heard the words TES, Casey Anthonly, and then defense. I think after hearing TES I thought it was them so I was like sure ask me anything. Then is when my mind kept saying defense, defense, and then it hit me it was THEM!
By the way my questions were answered he said he was allowed to ask more.
After the phone call I looked at my caller ID and there is no evidense of a phone call from them. Like never even happend.
I absolutely LOVE both of these suggested responses!
My favorite part is that it is a page out of the defense's own strategic playbook of drag it out and make it as difficult as you can.
I betcha that playbook is filled with bar graphs and Baez printed it on his trusty new laser jet color printer.
fla*mom,
If you watch the local news news it shows that this is being conducted in a courtroom at the Orange County courthouse, on one segment the door was open and you can see the Magistrate sitting in the Judge's chair
Perhaps the phone lines were installed temporarily or are special dedicated lines and the caller id is blocked and won't show up..that could be a possibility.

That makes perfect sense.
Just wondering, since he didn't say or at least I don't think he did say that the call was being recorded. The reps for TES do you think they can hear what the caller says? Not that is really matters. Just wondering because if they can't and now the defense is saying oh all these people say they were there on Suburban drive and TES might going What are these people saying to the defense that they look like cats with the canary in thier mouth like we are getting somewhere now!!!
Just curious, what do you think?
Here is what I am wondering, and maybe you can answer this FLA Mom....
During your phone call, did you get the impression you were on speakerphone or that there was more than one person on the line? Is TES and the Magistrate only sitting and monitoring what they can hear in outgoing portion of phone call, or are they able to hear the entire conversation?
I get the impression that Judge Perry underestimated the shenanigans of Team Baez and did not make this order as detailed as it possibly needed to be...such as specifying exactly WHO could initiate calls and exactly what entailed "monitoring" by TES and Magistrate. Judge Perry probably did not expect that Baez intended to attempt to call ALL 4000 volunteers (initiating "cold calls") but may have been under the assumption that on review, there may have been a few that Baez felt had searched close enough to remains site that they should have been included in the 32.
Reason I am asking is that another forum has volunteers discussing the phone calls they received today and some are claiming that the phone call was NOT immediately terminated when they answered NO to the first script question ("Did you search Suburban as TES, or independently?" as stipulated in the court order, but questions were continued being asked.
Posters are also claiming caller id showing telephone number out of Miami/Dade which is leading some to believe investigators with cellphones were calling today from inside the courthouse?
Documents Could Damage Casey Anthony Defense

Defense witness Laura Buchanan signed an affidavit a year after Caylee was found there claiming she searched the area months earlier, on September 3, with her team of volunteers and Caylee was not there.
But WFTV found Texas EquuSearch documents that show Buchanan and her team were at Blanchard Park that day and even that they found bones there.
Volunteer Lela Radojevic, who was on Buchanan's team that day, says they were at Blanchard Park from morning until late afternoon.
"You were all together all day at Blanchard Park and nobody ever, with you, went to Suburban Drive that day?" WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked Radojevic.
"No," she said.
