Yeah the new boyfriend is a Muslim guy who is a Paparazzi...I can't think of his name right now but according to ex-girlfriends of him he isn't someone Britney needs in her life right now...ehh whatever I read too much TMZ.com I think lol.. She does act like she could care less about getting her babies back and I just don't or can't understand that. She only seems to care about what she wants and that to me is so selfish.

Yes, that's my point. Britney is still a young girl emotionally. She's got what some call 'arrested development,' which probably describes quite a few young stars in the entertainment field (too much too soon and no maturity to handle it ). In short, she's never grown up. Some can argue all day long whose fault that is, but the fact is, Britney is NOW an adult by legal standards and until, and unless, Britney grows up and takes responsibility for HERSELF, things will either remain status quo or she'll go downhill from here.

Britney needs quality counseling, love and support from her family and friends, and lots and lots of REST. If I were Britney's mother, I would encourage her to pull herself out of the show biz limelight for a long while to give herself a chance to rejuvenate herself. She's been through an incredible amount of stress these past four years and it's really taken a toll on her emotionally and physically. Clearly, her last public appearance has proven she's just not up to her normal performance level.

I just hope, for Britney and her children, that she gets herself together and soon. Those darling little boys need their mother, but they need a mother who has her act together most importantly, and Britney has a long, long way to go before that happens.

He was a guest on the Hour of Power with Dr. Schuller a year or two ago and after he got done talking, what did he do? Walked off the podium, took his wife's hand, and walked out the doors! LOL! The exact same thing he does at the end of his show! That too staged for my taste.

Right? I feel like asking him in a really loud and condescending tone if he has a "Robin Addiction"? I so wish his ex wife would spill the beans on him. I was feeling sorry for Britney having to meet him. What was he gonna do put her in "The Doctor Phil House"? Hoping that girl can get some help.

What are the two of them doing in Mexico? I wonder if this trip was planned before Britney's outburst or whatever it was. Doesn't really look too good to be doing that right after losing all visitation. I suppose she has her attorneys working on her case though.

Big custody hearing today. She will either lose custody until April, or still get monitored visitation in a place where she can't lock herself in a room with the kids. Sheriff says he won't provide security when she comes, she will only get that if she arrives with her attorney - on time.

I can't say I blame the sheriff at all.. She does not need to be catered to anymore & besides we need the sheriff's attention elsewhere on important situations.. What is really going to break my heart is when the boys get older and see why their mother didn't want them. It's all documented on video and in pictures.. Funny how everyone screams bi-polar and mental issues when she has her break downs and her hissy fits but if anyone has noticed she only acts mental when she is supposed to be doing responsible adult things..When she is out running around with her new bf or partying on the town she is all laughs and smiles.

Adderall and Ritalin are synthetic SPEED - they are used for ADD and ADHD. And I disagree that you cannot be bi-polar and ADD - my husband is both - and he very successfully takes both bi-polar meds AND Adderall. I know 3 people closely who are under Psychiatrist care and take BOTH an anti-depressant or mood stabilizer AND a stimulant for their diagnosed adult ADD.

And there are about 50 drugs for bi-polar now - lithium is rarely prescribed any more because so many people have bad reactions to it. Lithium has a LOT of side-effects that can be as hard to live with as the bi-polar. Many of the newer bi-polar meds are actually anti-seizure in nature (Depakote is one).

I have several people in my world who are medicated "bi-polar" - one who has a severe version and SHE does not fall into long depressions - she is very "high manic" though- her swings are almost ALL to the extreme UP side - she does not have the "down" side much at all. To her, even "normal" feels like a down though - she LOVES the mania and the energy and tends to run "up" even when properly medicated. Every bi-polar is different - it's not like a teeter-totter - sometimes one side or the other is dominant and the person rarely cycles to the other extreme - or just does so for short periods - sometimes 24 hours or less.

Britney appears to run to the manic side and the ADD drug is not helping her mania. She needs a SECOND DRUG to control some of the extreme mania. And SOMETIMES the mania gets WORSE with age - as a child she may have only had ADD and now has manifested a worsening mania or bi-polar disorder that began at puberty and has gotten worse with the birth of her kids and age.

A stimulant is NOT to make the ADD sufferer energetic, but to slow them DOWN so they can handle the ADD issues better. Properly prescribed, a stimulant makes ADD sufferers MORE CALM and FOCUSED...not manic. And Brit may have BOTH bi-polar manic and ADD.

My Opinion

Well, in my neck of the woods lithium is still prescribed first. I am (one of the few according to you) that it works for. Plus, I take Dilantin for my seizures with no problems. Depakote whacked me out. Both my daughters take lithium with no problem. Lithium has worked well for years, I'm just not sure where you are getting your information. And the side effects are NOT as bad as living with bi-polar disorder, in my case. Of course, I may be an idiot, but I do know about bi-polar disorder since I've lived with it since my teens.

And this is just my humble opinion as always....

Sadie, I am no mental health expert, but I think that maybe one of the symptoms if you will of Bi-Polar is being down one minute and up the next. Of course I am not certain of that. In my heart I truly don't believe she doesn't want her children. She's obviously out there and alienating her family is the worse thing the chick can do right about now. Hopefully she can at some point pull it together. I'd question anybody's sanity that locks themselves in a room with two toddlers. Last thing I'd want to be doing.

But they do! When she is out self medicating she is having a "UP" bi-polor moment.

Or like the evening she went and shaved her head... She then headed out clubbing..
IMO that is a prime example of a serious mood swing.

Lord knows sticking with something that works is the right thing to do. Lithium was horrible for me but Trileptal works. If everyone was the same we wouldn't need all the different meds so feel blessed that you have something that works for you. It's not an easy feat sometimes to come up with a combo that works.

I hear ya MGS, but like Amraann said that's part of the mood swings. I know what you mean though, but even while out on the town with the new boyfriend she's obviously out there. Smiling and laughing for sure, but definately out there. Everything she is doing is inappropriate according to "normal" people. Hopefully she will get some true help before it's too late. She ain't needing Doc Phil help.
