Well, I always thought if she met someone whom was truly interested in her the person, he would also be interested in encouraging her to do the right thing, that he would help her get to court, etc. This guy did do that. It's too bad he couldn't get her to do the one thing only she could - walk into that room. The only thing left was to carry her in there, and that's not an option. I'm going to continue to HOPE that this is a positive influence, as small as that hope is.

It was stated by a man who interviewed the new "beau" that he was a Muslim giving her spirituality because it is what she is lacking, according to the reporter who talked extensively to this man for an hour night before last, he is "saving Britney Spears". (I believe this was on Fox news, but haven't found anything on it...OK haven't looked either.) I just found it interesting and could explain why the wife hasn't left him yet. He wants to be hailed a hero in the end.

She didn't buy the guy the car...the dealership even said she was quiet and wasn't going to be buying it...

Thanks Truthful, I read that too. I don't think he's a member of the Islamic faith either, despite perceptions on his name and heritage.

The reporter was a bit biased, imo, as he was a Muslim, too. It was part of the reason for the lengthy discussion. He seemed to be defending the guy because of their shared faith. I don't think we can rule it out as a possibility of his motivation.

He also said since he was well known in the Pap world...he was working out agreements to give photos ops not to "crush" Brit as much. He told the reporter that he took Brit to several malls and she got to be relatively normal for a day with the promise of designated photo ops for the Paps.

What might be "normal" would be for her to spend some time at home with her family instead of running around shopping and clubbing constantly.

Saying she was "scared" was a bit over the top!
Especially when she could have been taken into the courtroom protected if she had wanted to. She playes it all up to "seem" like the victim. Problem is, nobody is believing it.

Exactly! And spirituality alone is NOT going to be enough to save Brittney from all of her problems whether they be drug-induced, mental illness, or both. She is a bad mother no matter how you look at it. Perez Hilton's article was wrong in that there is another hearing Feb. 19th. Brittney only doesn't have her kids until that hearing. I think she should never be alone with them again.

That 2/19 hearing will be more of the same. Only slightly different because her current attorney's are going to court on 2/4 to ask to be removed from the case. Will she even have another attorney by 2/19?

Not right now, to be sure! But I will say that all people - no matter how low they have fallen - have the capacity to change and Britney is no exception. I never lose hope for people! I hope that she will someday get help for herself and be able to help parent her children.
