I agree. She did contact DCF and she must feel her concerns fell on deaf ears. That could be why they are making it so public. Perhaps they are trying to force DCF to look at the situation more closely than they feel was done in the past. They probably feel a sense of urgency about Jr. because Haleigh is missing. I can understand that.

Exactly and in all honesty DCF never does jack crap these days so I believe Crystal on this.

What if Chad did it,they were at Crystal and Chad's house?He has had a domestic child abuse charge on his kids by ex wife.When LE was looking for Haleigh's body in a dumpster,Crystal was being interviewed by reporter in her camp and Chad was standing a number of feet behind Crystal talking and laughing to someone.Odd behavior for a father to be,while future daughter is being looked for in a dumpster.IMO
These photos were set up for a future custody battle and being thrown out there now,so it will be hard to prove.Especially since Haleigh is missing and she would be old to answer,hopefully if she's in hiding,she will be brought home before this goes to court.I would hold to what she said more than either parent.

She took the time to take pictures of bruises and scratches, yet did not take pictures of the iinjury RJ sustained when Ron beat him until he was bloody? Just does not make sense.

I'm familiar with all of those too, plus the most dreaded wooden spoon...dang. I was never bruised by any of those things however.
These all look like play bumps to me. Also, if the one on his arm was from a switch-- wouldn't that "welt" continue onto his back or something? IDK, strange location for a bruise caused by a stick. moo

The stick didn't cause the bruises on the arm. Fingers did - see how they line up?

It's a classic pattern: the parent grasps the struggling child by the arm as he/she swats, and the swats usually land on the side of the thigh.

You get these identical marks and patterns.

(As I said in my first post, I don't think this alone rises to the level of removing a child from custody. I just think we should say what we see frankly and openly, without regard for the implications to "sides" or the rest of this ugly battle. )

That first pic does not depic a fall. Was Haleigh taken to the doctor after this incident, and did the school have a note to back up the Cummings story? I'd like to see what DCF would say.

In my State and personally raising a child with disability, this incident would immediately be a MAJOR change in placement for my child, whether foster or another custodial relative.


Crystal is doing the right thing, keep digging the truth is there.

Yes the school documented the fall and said it happened on the premises. There are notes backing this up at the same site as the pictures. And yes Haleigh was taken to the doctors twice for this incident.

If she was truly concerned about her children IMO she would be handling this privately, not putting pics on Geraldo and all over the internet for people to see. Those actions speak nothing of a mother trying to protect her children. These pictures and allegations are there forever now, will be sad when the children get older and google and see these pictures.

I am not saying that I believe these children were abused. What I am saying is that I can see how CS could think that they were. That is all I am saying. These are her children. She should do whatever she feels necessary regarding their well being. I just don't understand all of the crucifying of CS that is going on because she is worried about her kids. I think it is sick. One of her kids is missing. She is grasping for any and every explanation. I would be too.

I don't know if Haleighs bruises were reported. I was talking about Jr.

They are putting this out as an abuse photo and it's not the first time. If she thought Ron did that to Haleigh I don't know why she would not have reported it. Hell, I would have taken her straight to the police station if I thought Ron had beat her face like that.

Also, since I was not around here much in the last couple of weeks can you point me in the direction of where on here it talks about Crystal reporting Jr's bruises/scratches to DCF before hiring her new atty?

The reason people are not on crystal's side is basically, ever since her and her momma's first interview they came out swinging against Ron. That was all they were concerned about or ever talked about. No pleading for the kidnappers to return her, no talking about haleigh much at all. It was constant Ron bashing since day one. Just funny that on the day Haleigh disappears the courts files contempt charges against Crystal for back child support. Ron had not once talked bad about her, he said it wasn't about Crystal it was about Haleigh....

I have been an avid reader here till my eyes bleed. I am aware of the way all discuss and re-discuss obstructions that will not solve this case. I believe the evidence says enough to indicate who, what and where we need to be focusing on. Take a look at my theory located on named thread.
I mean no disrespect I am new and am aware my opinion may not be well received by all but have my big girl panties on and am willing to take the heat. I have great respect for all the great minds and talent pooled here. I hope to be a little boost to refocus on the facts, truth and evidence that is available to us. We must ask the right questions to get answers that Will lead us to Haleigh. I believe they have not consistently been asked with adequate answers.

I have no positive regard or trust in Chad and desperately wish Crystal would leave him. (Unless/until she does, I see neither party as providing a safe home for any child.) He (or her father) has always been #2-3 on my suspect list.

But Haleigh was still available for being interviewed by DCF when Crystal reported this to them, and it would have been insane to risk her telling the truth when DCF investigated. Remember, Crystal says Haleigh told her Ron did it.

How many obstructions are we going to pick apart. You can't solve a case that is strewn with lies and deciet it will always lead to dead ends. So you must look at the evidence it doesn't lie nor change. It may mislead you momentarily but will never lie.

I agree. But the context of the evidence does change. If the pictures of Haleigh are reported as the result abuse and are proven to not be the result of abuse, it may diminish the credibility of further accusations be they true or false.

Its important to note as well that Crystal has a history of making false reports, and as Nancy Grace pointed out. A history of false reports leads to doubt concerning future reports. There are no dates on the pictures of RJ, some of the bruise pictures look like the same bruise just photo more than once. Did she just the last two weeks take pictures of every scratch and bruise on his body? What 4 yr old does not have bruises on their legs or scratches from playing outside, riding a bike, climbing on things? If this is abuse I am in real trouble.

Also as far as bruising on Haleigh, I wish I was comfortable posting a picture of my daughter when she was 3, she fell and hit the corner of her eye on the edge of a shower door no stitches required the ER just put a butterfly bandage on, by next morning from her eye to her chin on one side was bruised and swollen, I took her back to ER because I was afraid something was broken for her to bruise like that they checked her again and explained she probably hit the side of her nose as she fell and anytime that occurs bruising will be wide spread.

Busylady this is exactly what I'd said earlier today. When my son was 3 1/2 he fell while in the bath tub and boy oh boy he looked like somebody had socked him. The er doc actually questioned me to the 3rd degree. I tell ya that many times while my children were young and growing up especially the boys everyday it seemed they had scratches, cuts and bruises. I am being completely serious here.

I have seen the pictures and also do not believe that their grandmother, church, pastor or teachers wouldn't recognize physical abuse and report it. It stinks to high heaven IMO. I honestly do not believe these charges or allegations for one second. IMO Crystal is manipulative and cunning who is using the disappearance of Haleigh. It is quite sad, shocking and disgusting all at the same time.

Kim Picazio just stated on HLN Ron's other girlfriend called DCF alleging maltreatment of the children. Maybe she is the witness to Rj being beaten until he was bloody. :waitasec:

I think Ron may have some how been involoved, indirectly. As far as Crystal goes, I dont know I think she is an opportunist, if she really felt that these babies were abused she would have done something before now. I dont buy this that she thaught the judge ruled and it was final, because a few weeks ago she stated that her previous lawyer was suppose to file an appeal and didn't, yet she waits til now to do anything.

Grandma did not go to the school. The report states "Grandma sending someone"
