Does anybody else love verdict watches? I can't imagine not having WS to obsessively refresh while watching feeds. You guys are awesome.

I will say that double jeopardy will not matter in extradition but their are other grounds in which they could fight that on. Having an extradition treaty with a country doesn't mean either country is obligated to extradite someone upon request, and countries with such treaties have denied extraditions.

On the bright side...both sides still have the
Option of ANOTHER appeal.....

...ducking...

Italy must have a lot of money to spend on trials, so many delays...........

Snark!!! LOL

I hope Meredith's family get the verdict they want today. They deserve peace, as does their sister.

Camera could at least pan the room so I can see other Italians....tall, dark, handsome ones, maybe.

Yep ... and that appeal would go back to the Supreme Court ...

And IMO, the Supreme Court of Italy is NOT going to be happy ...

The Supreme Court has already ruled in Guede's case : that he did not act alone !

If it's a guilty verdict...I think I'll go out to dinner to celebrate....Italian restaurant !

Anyone have a clue on why they do these things so late at night? Is it usually this way or is this an exception?

While we wait for the verdict ...

Hypothetical Examples of what "Double Jeopardy" would be :

1. Bringing Casey Anthony back into court for the murder of her daughter Caylee ...

Unfortunately, Casey has been acquitted and cannot be brought back into court again on this particular charge.

2. Bringing OJ Simpson back into court for the murder of Nicole Simpson and Mr. Goldman ...

Unfortunately, OJ has been acquitted and cannot be brought back into court again on these particular charges ...

The verdict we await today is from the SAME trial for both Knox and Sollecito.
