This is what I remember....

First sighting was the taxi driver on Curacao
Then in 1998, two Canadian tourists saw who they think is Amy on a beach in Curacao. That was in in August. Assuming MC?
1999 Member of navy sees her in brothel
Then in 2005 she was seen in bathroom of department store in Barbadoes

I may be missing something, but this is what I recall

From the Charley Project website:
http://charleyproject.org/case/amy-lynn-bradley

March–April 1998: "A cab driver later stated that she approached his cab and said she urgently needed a phone."
August 1998: "The witnesses [Canadian tourists?] in the 1998 sighting accurately described her tattoos."
January 1999: "The witness [US Navy member] in the 1999 sighting said she identified herself by name and asked for help."
March 2005: "A woman resembling Bradley was seen in [a department store in] Barbados."

So, the cab driver sighting was the same day she disappeared from the ship

The Charley Project just says "later" right after describing the events of the morning, so I assumed it meant "later that same day." However, according to the following article http://crimefeed.com/2018/04/disappeared-amy-bradley/

"One month after she went missing, Ron and Brad returned to Curacao. They passed out flyers and talked to locals, and Amy's father said that he received a tip from a taxi driver who claimed that Amy was still alive – and on the island."

I'll edit my previous post accordingly to "March–April 1998."

Somewhere else, I read a possible sighting in San Juan, PR four days after her disappearance, but I haven't been able to verify it with a credible source.

I suppose we should also mention the more than 100 eyewitness sightings (tips) the Bradleys received and didn't put forth, and they were subsequently fined about $5,000 IIRC for "committing fraud on the court". I'm not sure all of these were ever publicly disclosed though.

This was related to their lawsuit against Royal that they lost.

IIRC these sightings were related to Amy living freely and willingly on her own on the Island.

I know. I was confused about the cab driver as well, which is why I edited my post.
I thought it was the same day she disappeared. Maybe it was but the Bradleys didn't speak to the driver til later

So what else is there?
Information?
And how would she move freely from place to place?

I had saved all of these links when they were first disclosed because I figured they would be lost. I forgot I still have them.

I don't know how reliable the ibb website is, so any interested people might want to take screenshots of the documents

I just went back and read some more of the threads. Watched videos. Read news articles (that remain, not many of the links work). This whole case is a mess and I’m afraid beyond any way to put back together accurately. EVERYONE involved have had their own agendas.

Still. Occam’s Razor for me.

She was last seen on the boat. I think she was “disappeared” on the boat as well and went into the ocean.

Either accident or on purpose is what’s left imo.

I don’t think she went over board from the family balcony, I think they would have heard it.

I think she saw something she shouldn’t have as the ship was docking and met with foul play.

Hey Everyone,

This thread is very old. The rules that have applied in the past may not apply today.

Feel free to discuss the theory that Amy might have been thrown overboard deliberately or maybe she went overboard alone either by suicide or accident.

You all are discussing the sex trade possibility which is fine.

We did have one verified insider who is no longer verified or even a member of Websleuths.

If you have any questions please alert on a post and put your question in the alert box.

Thank you,
Tricia

The ship was 10-12 miles out when she went missing, but yes, she could have been a problem that someone has to solve by throwing her overboard.

The only thing I can reconcile in this theory is the no shoes.

I’ve never been on a cruise. Do people run around the boat without shoes on?

Amy's case was the topic of this week's episode of "Disappeared" on ID. After 20 years, Amy's family is still looking for answers and for Amy.

Ugh, I was about sick seeing Amy's name in the recent posts list. Oh god. Amy is one of my "pet" cases. I didn't realize her threads were back up and running here or that she had been on Disappeared. Checking my DVR!

Thank you for reopening an Amy thread! I'm so glad we can finally discuss her case here.

I don't think she went overboard. Other people would have heard something, she would have been screaming, and they did search the water a couple of hours later. I think she went to go have a smoke, ran into that Yellow guy from the band and something happened. He already knew she was missing and nothing had been announced yet....that speaks volumes. I think the police should spend some time re-interviewing him.

Agreed. He got away with far too much. I'm sure that Amy left that boat. She got off that boat in Curacao. JMO.

Can I ask... why is this thread listed as Petersburg, VA? I know Amy lived there but she disappeared while docking in Curacao... Sorry if I'm confused!!! :tyou:

I'll pay attention next month, but I'm inclined to say yes.

I've seen people in bathrobes in the buffet on the last morning while docking...
