The 2001 assault sounds like a disorganized, anger-driven act. Perhaps this marks the start of his metamorphosis into an organized serial who is skilled at covering his tracks and his true nature? Even so, fifteen years is a long terrifying time.

This jives well with that xtra article in which a friend of Skanda (who started dating BM in 1999) said that BM had a violent temper...

One count of carrying a concealed weapon was withdrawn on the same day McArthur was sentenced in 2003. The Ministry of the Attorney General was unable to confirm by Monday evening what weapon was used by McArthur at the time, or further information about the nature of the assault.

Well this is the thing, right? Anyone can open a business, no problem, much like Creative Designs. But how was he able to be pass a criminal background check or a vulnerable sector check likely necessary to become a Mall Santa? Also, how does someone become another person's surety (not naming anyone) with such a violent criminal history? How is someone able to travel with such violent convictions on their record, when other people get denied for drug possession charges? These are the things I ponder.

It was mentioned earlier on this thread that "it's unfortunate that he was pardoned". So I'm just trying to follow up with that.

Also wondering how someone gets pardoned for such violent offences. It's all so bizzare.
