Just want to wish strength to all the family, friends and community, this must be a particularly tense time.
From my :heartbeat: to yours.

Just want to point out, Andrew's thread has the most pages with 55 & you know the rest of the equation.

Shouldn't we have a BM thread? Very sadly, Andrew now seems to be only one of potentially many victims.

Interesting. In the 3rd pic, I don't see the "bucket" for excavating.

Searching the model, which seem to also be for lifting, I found this; http://www.atlaspolar.com/material-handling-equipment/hiab-xs-144-truck-mounted-crane.html#

Just an observation.

I think that machine was to move the large military tent over to the place in the back yard. There is a heater (a green coloured tank looking thing) that is inside of the tent to heat up the ground for digging. Global News Toronto just had some footage from Catherine McDonald's earlier report,

If BM buried anyone that close to the house in the back yard, I'll be shocked.

Imagine the horror for the homeowners if they do find a body/bodies.

I'm with you. I never thought at the beginning, that this is where LE would be digging. I feel sick. My thoughts are with the victims, families, and this poor couple. :heartbeat:

Wait- why is a forensic psychiatrist at the scene? What does this suggest?

I think they help to determine mental competency for trials. I'm not sure why one would be at the scene. Is BM talking?

Wondered the same thing at the same time!
Do they have insight to the way remains may be placed or???

Forensic psychiatry is a specialised branch of psychiatry which deals with the assessment and treatment of mentally disordered offenders in prisons, secure hospitals and the community. It requires sophisticated understanding of the interface between mental health and the law.

Forensic psychiatrists must balance the needs of each person assessed and/or treated with the risks of harm to others, including the person’s own family and associates, criminal justice or health service staff or the wider public. They most commonly provide treatment in a secure hospital environment, but may deliver services to prisons or deliver specialist community services. Generally, their patients are subject to legal restrictions.

Okay, so my mind went somewhere... Did BM "talk"? Is the forensic psychiatrist directing LE? Or giving their general guidance of where to look based on patterns/findings/knowledge on this "type" of killer?

I posted the same thing just now.

Maybe the way remains were " disposed of " can help predict if the perp is a danger to himself and how much danger he may be to others having to work with him?
I.e. if the remains show a concern of sorts, a flower, note, religious symbol ect. maybe that would suggest the perp felt guilty and could harm himself?
Disrespectful and " angry burial "suggestive of a psychopath ect?
Dunno.. complete speculation, imo.
