Wonder IF GGMS took a lie detector test since she claims she saw Haleigh alive and well that night sometime between 7:00pm and 8:00pm..If she didn't, I'm wondering WHY... For certain a test of this nature, although not admissible in court, would have revealed if what she stated was true or not...That information alone would and could be a BIG help to LE in attempting to solve Haleigh's disappearance.

She said that Jr needed as much normal as possible, and it seems like his great-gram went to a great effort to make that happen, and then his dad spent Thanksgiving with friends. I wonder if that's the norm for Jr.

I hope Annette was able to have her other great-grandchildren around her on this family-centered holiday.

debs, Please tell me that he didn't leave Jr. on Thanksgiving... I have no doubt GGMS went all out for butterbean, but please tell me his daddy didn't leave him on that day..

I totally agree with you. I wonder if AS identified the laundry she claims to have taken over there that night. Her testimony is very crucial.

None of the grandparents were given one. Shoddy police work if you ask me.

I wondered if she had those pain patches...they are dangerous and teenagers here are getting ahold of them from Parents and Grandparents and dying. My bioMom has a back and neck issue and her pain doctor put her on Duragesic the first visit. One month later she is on the highest mg. It supresses respiration.

I had two neal fatal wrecks in S FL in the 90's. Spinal Cord damage. they put me on oxy first thing. I read in Newsweek how dangerous it was and flushed them all down the commode.

Open Heart surgery is no picnic but you get vicodin and that is only for a month. WTH is going on in Florida. No wonder people want to live there...Drugs and sunshine and low rent, well from what I can tell. I am in shock at the cost of living there but then again Look where I'm at!

Well the Palatka/Satsuma/Interlachen area is nothing like the cost of living in S FL. It is actually cheaper here in the mountains of N GA. They are a bot more careful with Rx drugs and the meth task force is up and at 'em everyday. Crack is not a big prob here in the country...meth is the deal here.

O/T again, I lived in SF at 18-20, I am 47 now. I lived by the ocean in the avenues...980 a month for a 2br/1ba. You can rent a new 3/2 house here for 650.

IIRC Marie stated she requested to be tested and she took a voice analysis test..An innocent grandparent would do such I would think....

I could have sworn that when I read this article earlier today that it stated that Ron spent Thanksgiving w/friends, in which case I don't believe for a minute that he would take Jr if that were the case. (and before anybody jumps on me, do you really believe that Ron would take Jr away from GGMS on Thanksgiving...this Thanksgiving? No way...:snooty
Besides that being JMO though, I could have sworn that the way the article stated it would lead one to that impression. Problem is now that I read the article again I CAN NOT find mention of the 'Thanksgiving w/Friends'. :waitasec: Am I looking at the wrong article or am I finally certifiably crazy??? I guess I hope I'm just crazy because it truly broke my heart to think of Jr not being with his daddy or mama on this holiday. Poor little butterbean...I pray he's doing ok.

TN posted on BNN, and nope can't link to their site, how they spent the day and Jr. had a nice time and I'm glad he did. I hope Crystal and her family had a really nice Thanksgiving day too.

OMG twall, Thank You So Much! I swear I was doubting my sanity! I just knew I had seen that (or sure thought I did anyway) because it just weighed so heavily on my heart. IDK maybe it is just a difference in people, but it bothers me so much. Jr needs all the stability he can get right now and holidays w/normal family traditions mean so much to children. Then again I suppose we have no way of knowing what their 'normal' is do we? O my goodness, I can't go 'round this circle again tonight, it's past my bedtime and I'm babbling again...but I'm not CRAZY! :crazy: ..well at least not off the deep end..yet!

This Thanksgiving, the family will not be together. Annette says she may stop by her daughter’s house. She says Haleigh’s father Ronald is spending the holiday with friends. She says it’s sometimes easier for him to cope with memorable days like Thanksgiving without family around because they remind him too much of Haleigh.
