Butler that is what CL told all of her friends that the step mom had her arrested the first time.

Yet again, more proof that she is a lying liar who lies. I feel terrible for her children and her friends. Victims of a woman (and I use that term loosely) who cared for no one but herself.

I don't think there is a way to understand evil. I understand if you are a soldier fighting a war that it cant be avoided but to deliberately take someones life is something Ill never be able to wrap my brain around. The last thing these victims do is look right into the eyes of pure evil. There is no other way to describe this. If CL was involved in helping AL they are both pure evil. Thats why I dont have any sympathy for either one of them.

From what I have been told by the friend that talks to CL the most, not even CL's attorney knew she was being arrested. He found out in the news. She opened her door and they took her down in her PJ's she had on. They wouldn't even let her change clothes or put on a bra.

When someone is arrested for kidnapping and murder LE usually doesn't allow the perp to change. That would be the last thing on their mind when attempting a peaceful removal of a dangerous individual from their home. My advice to someone when they decide to murder someone? Wear a bra to sleep because you never know when LE will come breaking down your door.

Just stay dressed, keep your makeup on and your hair fixed. If you are involved in a crime you want to be ready for your mug shot.

I don't think he tried to contact her. She acted normal to me, but very upset about AL's involvement. Confused about AL's involvement and getting her info from the news like everyone else.

Ok, so I gotta say something.... She can't be confused about any of it... Also there is nothing she learned from the news like everyone else... They have some definate evidence to formally charge with capital murder and kidnapping... Not trying to be mean, but gotta take it at face value...

Exactly.

Disclaimer: The following post is just my opinion.

Crystal is the type of person who in her mind nothing has ever been or ever will be her fault. Example: if she moved in with some random guy that she's known for two weeks then a week later he kicks her and her kids out.... It's HIS fault that she and the kids are homeless and absolutely no fault of her own... She is a victim. She doesn't have the ability or insight to recognize that it was her poor decision making that got her into that situation in the first place. If she rear ends someone.... They slammed on the brakes to fast. If her husband is stationed over seas and she writes thousands of dollars in hot checks all over town.... It's his fault for not making enough money and/or not being home to manage the finances.

In the history of the universe nothing has ever been or ever will be crystals fault.

That being said... It's my opinion that no matter what really happened to Beverly Carter... No matter what level of involvement crystal had... If she pulled the trigger herself (metaphorically speaking) she does not believe it is her fault.

*if AL would make more money we wouldn't have to commit a violent crime to make money
*if AL wouldn't have blown all his settlement money we wouldn't have to do this
*AL has kidnapped this woman and now she can identify him... So now I have to kill her to clean up his mess. If he wouldn't have kidnapped her... I wouldn't have to kill her.
*AL has cheated on me with this woman so now she has to pay ... If she wouldn't have slept with my husband she would still be alive... So it's her fault. (no disrespect to BC or her family just playing out different scenarios)

So in reference to the Halloween pictures... I don't think it ever occurred to her that it was in poor taste... Because it's never occurred to her that she's done anything wrong.

I wonder why he shaved his head the day he kidnapped Beverly?

Me too.
The reason the meth is an issue to me, personally is that it would explain so much. I read these cases and need an explanation. What made a human being wind up with a disorder of human emotion to this extent. So frustrating because most of the time, there is no explanation.
So, I do believe 100 percent he was using. I do not know that it was meth, or heroine, or "ice" which I *think* is supposed to be a more pure, highly addictive, form of meth that is being injected. From what I've seen of those users, they enter another world of reality, never to return.
My instincts, my education, and my personal experience of interactions with meth/ice addicts is what I'm basing this opinion on.

People shave their heads to avoid hair follicle testing: in all the pictures of him you do not see his head shaved. He's vain. He likes his dark hair.
It's highly possible CL was using a product to throw off a hair follicle test also.
She could have continued her regular meds, avoid amphetamines for at least 3 days and used a product to be ready for hair follicle testing just as AL seemed to be prepared for it.

*just thinking*

or he shaved his head so he did not leave hair at the scene ...

Or so that he could better try and disguise himself with a wig, etc.?

Continuing in this line of thinking...what is your feeling about her and the Halloween pics considering that her husband was in jail for murder and as you stated yesterday something like, the cops said they were going to get her too? Those pictures, knife to the throat, while normally would just all be for fun, but to be married to a man who was in jail at the time for murder it's just really not classy what she did, IMO. Was she just trying to act normal??

At the time I told her she needed to remove those. I thought they were in bad taste. She did not see it that same way. Maybe trying to act normal? Whatever that is.

Or assumed that is what happened. People often assume things that are not true.

She told her friends the stepmom had her arrested for theft by receiving? That doesn't EVEN make sense! Am I misunderstanding what you're saying?

Would you mind sharing the body language moves you reference? Interesting
There were a host of them, some more subtle and difficult to read than others, but the most basic one that you see him doing -only after those two sentences about Trevor is the quick visual check to gauge if the lie was accepted or not. One might think the natural thing a liar would do is to look away, avoid eye contact, but it's not so in a high stakes lie.

When a person is lying and especially if the lie is high stakes to them, in other words when it's pretty important to the liar that his/her lie be fully believed by the listener, they will tell the lie and then IMMEDIATELY upon finishing the sentence - they will dart a very focused intent look at the listeners face, into their eyes and then hold it a moment... This is an instinctual physical response in that they're intently needing to learn whether or not that deception was successful or not. Did the person hear and believe them? If not, do they need to embellish further? It's hard to explain well in writing, but if you re-watch the tape after those two lines about trevor were spoken, you can see the difference in his NEED to see if the lie was bought or not versus his other lines spoken to the reporter. There is a very fast but very focused darting look. It's urgent to the liar at that moment to know how the lie is being received. There's no thought behind it, it's instinct.

A very professional high level liar will know all this (and other telltale body language clues) and compensate for it. But AL demonstrates no signs of being a proficient liar. Additionally, there is another body sign - the brow is lifted during the lie, it's pulled up and held higher, sometimes the higher the lift (seen by the horizontal furrows depending on age/skin etc) the bigger the lie. Again that depends on the level of sophistication about it - you can often see this from politicians and gauge which are the biggest lies. ;)

There are many more but the eyeball to eyeball fast check/scan to see if the lie has worked was really evident in the news clip on the Trevor material. Hope that makes sense. I had occasion to have to study and learn these things, which has come in useful in many life circumstances! :)

Do you know if she posted on the Lonoke online yard sale fb. Have a reason for asking. Thanks if anyone knows for sure.

I'm a member of that one, along with a few others. I couldn't search for her by name. Maybe you could post, asking if anyone purchased from her?
I know Cabot was one that she posted on because she asked them to meet in Sherwood and the buyer got snarky that she posted in Cabot and had to meet in Cabot and CL agreed to meet in Cabot.
I missed most of what she posted and just as I realized and started looking around.. She got arrested.

I wasn't aware that AL had committed some of his former crimes with his ex-wife. But I may have missed it from an earlier post. This is regarding a theft from Feb 2011... That's interesting.

From KSFM 5 News.

"Lewis committed a similar theft at a Springdale Walmart the same month with his ex-wife and was also arrested in connection with that theft, according to a preliminary report."

Scenario #734.. I'm wondering if the duct tape was up front to silence and restrain her and/or maybe even to use in a phone pic to her husband in asking for ransom - "We have your wife, send the money and we let her go" type of thing-- and since surely the mouth must have been taped, maybe it was a sloppy job that also covered her nose, breathing passages. There could have been a trunk stuffing transport of BC while she's still taped and still alive to, keep her hidden, and maybe she suffocated. Does that sound at all feasible? Part of me still thinks AL didn't set out to kill her and the murder wasn't intended but an accident.

Agree!
Where do I go to look at these docs that were reported? I can't seem to find them.

Well in this case they just knocked on the door, she opened it, let them in and they arrested her. That is what she relayed to the friend that she talks to on the phone.
