I wonder, before the trial began, how much she actually knew about what happened. Certainly she saw MSM for the last two years, but did she talk to her son about it? How do you broach that subject with your son -- knowing he is a bit below average (IMO) in intellect? She may well be another of his victims. SMH.

Golden then gave his closing remarks. “I want to scream from the mountain top that he didn’t do this,” Golden said. “In this case I can’t do that.”

Golden admitted that Holly had sexual contact with the girl and caused her death.

However, Golden questioned whether Holly’s actions were premeditated or deliberate.

Golden said Holly is not smart and could not even spell his middle name. Holly’s actions were a reaction after having sexual contact with the girl and leaving his DNA on her body, according to Golden.

He urged jurors not to consider sentencing during their deliberations.

good morning friends! a guilty verdict for jersey yesterday, now the penalty phase continues today with the defense.........

Exactly, zoey, who knoze what he may have told her and what she chose to believe? She had to know something. If she was local, then she prolly knew a lot, IMO. If she lived in another state, it may be that she didn't know a lot of details. But his wife seeking divorce, seems to me, should have said something as well. Dunno. We believe what we want to believe.

It's all such a tragedy. But justice is in process. We should know the last chapter today, I'm thinking. It can't take too long unless a juror or two is reluctant -- but it surely didn't take a long time for them to convict, did it?!

We'll see...

How many times a day will Jersey's mother think of something she wants to show or tell Jersey? How many times will she set the dinner table for three places? How many times will her little sister ask about her? How many times will her mother start but then remember not to buy sandwich items for her school lunch, or a cute little outfit that's on sale? How many times?

My heart aches for her.
