Is there a record of a court order? because you don't have to let anyone in your home without a warrant. No one. In no state.
If there is a court order that is about the same thing but I don't see any court orders at this point. I don't see any cause for this either. My guess is that someone is trying to dig stuff up on them now to go along with the old issue.

I guess I am of the rather WTH end of thinking..BUT If Cops or CPS came to my door asking to see my kid/s...I 'd say..come ON IN!! ..and that's what's truly bother's me..This family has allowed film crews into their home to film their daily lives..Yet when authority asked to enter to confirm welfare of a youngster they REFUSE?? It Smacks of Hidings...Other than claiming rights of privacy..why would they even feel the need..Their whole flipped life has been aired on world wide TV for everyone to see..

Sooo ..Something is very wrong...Sure claim Privacy things all you want..BUT after years of making millions of dollars exposing your home..kids and all lifestyle happenings..NOW it's all of a sudden PRIVATE???

Too many coverups and too many questions..Aberrancy's abound!! Much of what I have read certainly reminds of FLDS scenario's...Claim their RIGHTS ( Govn't Handouts) to everything until questioned..then WHOA...Deny Internal investigations.. SMH

The Duggar family sowed the seeds for their own downfall nearly a year ago when they sent out a hate-filled robocall to their entire town, Daily Mail Online can reveal.

The sequence of events which ended with son Josh being revealed as a child abuser began last August when they sent out the message to all the residents of Tontitown, Arkansas.

The call urged them to vote against new laws preventing anti-gay discrimination laws and among those who heard it was Tandra Barnfield, a lesbian whose family know the Duggars.

In protest Barnfield posed outside the Duggar home kissing her wife Samantha Munzy and posted it on Instagram. The picture went viral, leading reporters to contact her.

Once she was known to the world, the media contacted Tandra for her inside information about the Duggar family.

She became the catalyst that got the ball rolling for the story breaking worldwide.

G

I Wonder if this guy and justin harris have crossed paths

Well, in case you missed it, a poster here (bexlex?), discovered that the same judge who fast-tracked Harris's adoption of the two girls despite the opposition is the same one who ordered Josh's records destroyed.

Stacy Zimmerman.

Curiouser and curiouser.

ETA: And according to Zimmerman's website she was appointed to some post or other (can't remember and too lazy to look it up) by...Mike Huckabee.

They seem to be dropping out of every tree that shakes but he seems to be from Tennessee.

True, but it is not out of the realm of possibility that he traveled to Arkansas in the process of co-authoring Huckabee's book.

Where it is not out of the realm of possibility that he met some in Huckabee's circles who shared his...um...interests.

There certainly seems to be plenty of pedophiles within less than six degrees of separation from Huckabee.

Exactly. Jana doesn't have an account, only the married girls, Josh, and Josiah - who signed up the day he became betrothed.

According to Duggar rules, they do not get access to social media until they become betrothed. Janna is not betrothed so someone posting is Janna is either Michelle or the PR guy. If it is Jana, then all hope is lost.

Well, that is just sad to me that a 25-year-old adult woman is so brainwashed in this day and age that she tolerates her parents forbidding her to have something that 20% of the WORLD's population has (Facebook).

I've never watched the show but can anyone here who has answer this? My understanding is the parents practically arranged Jill and Jessa's marriages. Why the lack of interest in betrothing their eldest daughter?

I've rarely watched the show, but my guess is that she basically said 'no way'. I seem to recall reading that she wanted to move to a big city at some point -- and it was basically nixed by her parents, one of whom said that she just wanted to live close to a Walmart.

I think that there is more to the story. We likely won't hear about it while she lives under her father's roof.

Someone has to raise the younger children, cook and clean

Not to worry because Michelle will just keep manufacturing more babies from the factory to keep an ongoing brood for servitude, labor, and of course tv ratings, if TLC will keep airing the show.

I suspect that this birth canal that has been treated as a water-slide has been closed.

I find this quote from the 'Duggar Girls' Scrapbook' interesting. Each one notes their favorite biblical passage, person, etc. And each one has a quote. This is Jana's:

"Lord, send me anywhere, only go with me. Lay any burden on me, only sustain me, and sever every tie, but the tie that binds me to Thy service and Thy heart."
David Livingstone

She has always appeared be more independent, thoughtful & stalwart than her sisters. IMO

Well little wonder, she probably raised them...

I always found when watching the show that there was something a little off with Michelle and Jana's relationship. M did not talk about Jana the way she did the other daughters.

Mike Huckabee's fundraiser:

Mike Centanni

A well-known GOP fundraiser pleaded guilty Monday to a federal charge of posession of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.
Michael Centanni, 48, was arrested October 30, 2014 following an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations. Court documents said federal officers were led to Centanni through "child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 sharing" files traced to his home computer.

Mike Centanni

Wow!

could there be THIS many child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 lovers/pedophiles in the general population?!?

Or does there seem to be an unusually large amount in Huckabee's "circle"....

So...you have a new baby, and you quit your corporate job? And head off, with your newborn son, to a country that has been all but decimated by earthquakes, which could strike again, at any time. That makes a lot of sense.

Actually, Derrek Dillard was already a missionary in Nepal when he struck up a prayer-buddy relationship with JBD. Daddy thought he would be the perfect match for Jill. The two young people had the chaperoned long-distance relationship before JBD took her to Nepal to meet him for the first time.

Shortly after the earthquake, the couple put up a message on the TLC site saying that they were planning to go there to help in the recovery from the earthquake. I would bet they have already been raising funds and making arrangements.

IMHO, Jill may be the first daughter to escape the rigid rules of her father's house. When she and Derrek met for the first time, it was a full-on, emotion-filled, full-frontal hug! Papa wasn't thrilled and quickly separated them.

I'm sure papa would have expected them to come to him for guidance before making such a huge decision. JBD needs to realize that he's handed his daughter to a man who knows his own mind.

In addition, Derrek has a degree in accounting from Oklahoma (State?). Whatever, he's been out in the real world and his family doesn't reflect at all the life the Duggars have. He has just one brother.

Here's hoping for Jill's sake...

I think this quote probably sums it up best. It's written by Geoff Botkins' stay at home daughters - they, and the Maxwells (whom are friends with the Duggars) openly advocate for daughters to remain at home, under their parents authority, until marriage.
Many stay-at-home girls believe that, as they become adults, their fathers’ jurisdiction over their lives will lessen. They feel that, in order to mature into individuals able to think and act for themselves, they must be “liberated” from another’s input into their lives. This is because we’re drowning in a culture that doesn’t understand what the Bible says about individualism vs. unity, autonomy vs. authority, or license vs. liberty.

Dear girls – don’t be afraid of losing your “individual personhood” or the ability to think for yourself, and don’t think that those are the signs of an adult. Any two-year-old girl has a mind of her own and most certainly thinks for herself. Every woman knows her own mind – it’s part of being Eve’s daughters. It’s not a sign of maturity to struggle for autonomy – that’s toddler stuff. The sign of our maturity and adulthood is when we willingly submit ourselves to God-given authority and therefore to God Himself. This is a struggle, and it requires strength, wisdom, responsibility and spiritual maturity.
So see? By submitting to your father's authority, you're actually proving how mature and independent you are. ;) Who needs facebook when you've got God's grace because you've lived by your parents ideals? Incidentally, the Botkins are women who are almost revered in many P/QF families - they run a website and write books specifically geared towards P/QF daughters under the guise of beauty, grace, and happiness through obedience. When you're in a bubble, surrounded only by people who enforce and reinforce the same ideology, how do you not believe it? Besides, wouldn't most of us like to be seen, especially at twentysomething, to be wise, responsible, and strong? To me, it just smacks of psychological manipulation.

As to the why, of course, there's probably a lot of truth in that the family needs her but I'd also wager a guess that she herself feels responsible for her younger siblings (just based on reading about other P/QF families). Your father is the ultimate authority, second only to god, and to go against your parents is quite literally (as seen in the above quote) to go against god.

OMG in thst quote he is telling them not to think about how they can't think for themselves.

Like: "don't think too hard little lady, you might hurt your brain."

That's the message to girls: don't think.

The saddest part probably is that it's actually written by two adult daughters, Anna Sofia and Elizabeth, now in their early 30s I think, and still living at home. So it's being pedaled by women, for younger women.
