I totally do not blame Dave and the PI for what they are doing. I am saying these 2 guys went to New Orleans for a party and they are in bed at 8:30! I don't believe that. Yes, it is scripted at times, but give me a break. The normal John Q Public is smart enough to know something is not right here. I truly hope this comes to fruition and charges can be brought against John and Joran VDS.

I don't blame them either, especially Dave. It's heartbreaking what he's been through.

I need to explain that I had not seen the 3rd episode when I posted about the times. I was talking about the second episode in the above posts. I went to Oxygen.com and watched the third episode last night and it is even worse about times.
Episode 3: John asks Gabriel if he wants to go eat at that market. It shows them outside and a clock on a building registers 7:30. At 8:30pm they are in their hotel room, in bed talking about the murder and the details. The timestamps on the video show them still talking at 9:18PM, 10:02pm, 11:19pm, 12:31pm and the last time stamp from the video is at 2:07AM! What 2 men go to New Orleans to gamble and party and are in bed by 8:31 and lay there talking until 2AM? I am not buying it! Something is not right here!

Do we know where Gabriel and John live? I was under the impression they all lived in Aruba, but that is not true I don't think.

Another thing that bothers me is Gabriel always complaining about not being able to work because he can't trust John in his house. And his wife doesn't like him there. How is Gabriel making a living? It appears to me he is complaining because he wants money from TJ. How does he support his family?

All very interesting.

I just watched the third episode, and have all the same questions and concerns you do.

It appears to me that JL is sitting there in that hotel room letting Gabriel question him, knowing all along what's going on. Is it possible he thinks he can avoid criminal charges and collect the reward money? Is it possible DH might even go along with an arrangement along these lines if he can get the information he's looking for? I'm just getting the feeling this was all planned and this "sting" is all show.

Tuesday Crime Stories: Is there a second Natalee Holloway grave? ‘Tipster’ Gabriel hints missing Alabama woman’s remains were divided!
by Alan Duke, Reporter & 'Crime Stories With Nancy Grace' Co-host
September 5, 2017

"As Natalee Hollway’s family waits for tests to confirm if bones found buried in Aruba are remains of the missing Alabama woman, the man who led them to the grave hints there is a second location where other body parts are hidden.

Gabriel Madrigal, who befriended a man who claimed to have helped hide Holloway’s remains and recorded his apparent confession, opened up to Nancy Grace in this Crime Stories episode with details not included in the ongoing Oxygen docu-series, The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway.
Madrigal stopped short of disclosing secrets beyond a promise of “twists and turns” in the remaining three episodes of the Oxygen series, but he did suggest he has knowledge of a second burial location. The FBI has the information and is investigating, he said.
Cold Case Research Institute director Sheryl McCollum and investigative reporter Art Harris both questioned Gabriel about how there could be bones to analyze if the recovered remains had been cremated, as had been claimed by “John,” the man who allegedly helped Joran van der Sloot hide the body. While he would not disclose upcoming revelations in the series, he did concede that John’s cremation story is questionable. Psychologist Pat Saunders also joined Nancy on this episode."

“Crime Stories with Nancy Grace” is now a national radio show, heard on SiriusXM’s Triumph Channel 132, five times a day. You can also subscribe and download the daily podcasts at iTunes and Google Play."

This brings back memories of the case of Robyn Gardner who also disappeared in Aruba, , and the reports of her being buried in the pet cemetery in one of the existing graves .

And come to think of it , it was a dog grave. What is it with Aruba and missing women and dog graves? Strange, no? So it will be very interesting to find out the results of this investigation. If Natalie and dog bones, perhaps Robyn as well? IDK, just a thought.

[h=1]Meet The Forensic Scientist Who’s Helping In The Search For Natale Holloway’s Remains
September 8, 2017 [/h]Dr. Jason Kolowski explains how he traveled to Aruba to help identify potential burial sites and how he's testing the DNA of discovered bone fragments for a possible match to Natalee Holloway.

"According to John, a burlap bag contained blonde hair and there was a musty odor. When he pulled the bag up there was some dark fluid that settled back into the ground. “Everything that is described as far as the disinterment of the remains in 2010 fits with what we would expect for the normal decomposition of a human body, especially in this type of environment and this type of a locale,” says Dr. Kolowski.
Perhaps more enticing for TJ Ward, Dr. Kolowski says: “Every contact leaves a trace. That’s a mantra. That’s a tenet within forensic science, and we are always going to be able to go back and find something, something left behind to help us identify that missing individual.”
Dr. Kolowski’s tenet may prove to be accurate."

I don't blame Dave one bit for doing everything and anything he had to to find out what happened to Natalee. I would too.

Every kind of tv show follows some type of direction of a script of what they want to capture filming.I never for a second didn't think Jon and Gabriel weren't doing drugs/drinking. I just figured it was edited out.
Regardless of how it came about, because they were filming this series something was found. If it turns out to be a match with DNA, then the agony this family has been in will end.
that's good enough for me.
I'm not sure Natalie's family will get any relief. Aruba isn't about to get off their corrupt, dead asses and do anything any different than they have in the past, IMO.

Dumb question. Is Natalee's Mom still alive?

Yes, she is still alive. She gave a sample for the Mitochondrial DNA testing they are doing now.

Well I agree with your Aruba description LOL! If they find DNA evidence of Natalee in the remains they have now, at least they will know what happened to her. They will finally be able to have closure. DH has mentioned wanting to bring charges against John L for desecration of her remains.(Oxygen series)

Great episode last night. I feel the info they have is genuine and I really like the forensics guy they brought in. I think this will be it. Praying for her family

I don't remember this aspect. Can you remind me the relevance of this?

Any thoughts on Joran's Dad's involvement here? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qMGXBXOUIOg

Gruesome Twosome

@5:47 JL's notarized statement:

"In early morning hours of May 30, 2005,
the Kalpoe brothers dropped Joran and Natalee off along the road between the Marriott hotel and Mamba Beach Bar.
Joran and her eventually walked down to an isolated stretch of beach, North of Marriott Beach.
Once Natalee started to foam at the mouth and was incoherent he knew something was going wrong with his usual pick up routine
So he called his father Paulus who came to pick up, pick him up.

Once they got back to Joran's house they carried her into Joran's guest house because the guest house and the house were separate.
You know that's where they took all the girls to go party and basically like in the documentary that's where they took all the girls to get raped basically 'cause that's what ... did ...
Once they got back to Joran's house they carried her into Joran's guest house which separated from the family's house.
They strip her down and then Joran had his turn
...Joran did, took his turn with her
then Paulus followed.
His own father followed right in back of Joran.
?

Joran said she's dead
..... He was very upset with her overdosing.
Paulus told Joran that he did a little research and this situation is already from bad to worse, as far as her vitals go.
So as Natalee was laying there, they,
he goes on the computer and he's,
wants to find out, you know, how, if she's that drunk, can she die. what if ... she overdose.

But she was not dead, she was still alive,
She still had a pulse, at the time.
...Trying to get her medical attention would surely lead to an investigation. That's what Paulus told van der Sloot, his son.
And with GHB in her system and Joran being the last one she was seen with and his dna and his father's dna may be found on her,

left them with one solution one solution and one solution only:
Make her disappear.

She was then smothered, she was still alive.
She was smothered. She was basically killed.
She was smothered by Paulus.
He went ahead and put his hand over her mouth, and nose.
At the point she could barely had a pulse, so then, so she never felt it coming.

Then they had to fold her body in half to fit her in a burlap.
The burlap sack was concealed within a blue tarp.
Then, they then hid her body in a location Aruba Desert,
just before dawn on May 30 2005.
That is where she remained until Spring 2010 when Joran had enlisted my help."

That's when John came into play and he helped van der Sloot to dispose of her in a certain way which I can not say because it's part of the documentary.
