off the top of my head i can think of one reason...
it would provide "damning" evidence against GG's story and suggest a crime was probably committed on "one happy island"...
in other words, current ALE might be as shady as 2005+ ALE after all :twocents:
Well that would mean the FBI was shady as well because Aruba asked for the FBI's help. The FBI would want it all, not just little tidbits. It is possible there is an error in the translation.
For instance, it's reported "witnesses' inconsistencies" and we know for a fact that all the witnesses claim the same thing because ABC was shown their statements. I believe LE let ABC see them because the reporter could have asked the locals what they knew and LE did not want ABC to get incorrect information. So I can see the reason behind allowing ABC to view them. Also the translation would be more on the lines of "the inconsistencies between GG and the witnesses" even though his name was not mentioned, IMO. If you are not an expert at translating Papamento what ends up in English could be a little different than what was reported. It's not just Spanish, or French, or Dutch, it's a combination of many languages and words that they use.
It could be that the video they are talking about is when GG went to the car and came back and they left 10 minutes later. So unless there is something verified I think it is one of those questions we should ask but not assume Aruba is up to something shady. I would think ABC would have jumped on this, too, unless they did ask and the answer was that there is no such video 10 minutes before 6pm. Even from the translation I did not get that. jmo
