This is rather interesting
Notice the gates and the blue in the pic below

It appears to be where they walked the day before, IMO
So there is a camera somewhere , maybe inside that area looking toward the gates

And in this video as well

Video OM Aruba 3 september - YouTube

Ok, so there must be a camera as you say, back in the gated area pointing outward.

That is the very back of the building, right? Not the end of the building where we, I think, finally decided is where the car was actually parked?

In the video where it shows them driving the car, is there actually a road there? It looks like just beach sand.

This is the back of the restaurant, we are viewing it in the pic at an angle
The beach is not as close to the back of the building as it appears above, more to the side

This is sort of that small section of beach that goes right around to become Baby Beach

There are pathways, rather than roads back there
Easy enough to drive over and I was in a small car
Its easy to drive all around the back area of the building and almost up to the edge of the waterwhere all of the rocks have been shown

The sandy part of it is actually further away than the picture leads us to believe

When I was there, divers we entering the water in that sandy area

Its more to the side of the building than in back, well, sort of

People have definate opinions about Aruba
Some will never go
I visit twice a year usually and I love the Island and her people
My experience has been that there is crime everywhere

Choose a place that will make you both happy!!!
And enjoy your honeymoon

Here's a blow up of the gated area behind the Rum Reef/JADS. I don't think it is the same location as the gated area shown in the video.

Rather, I think the gated area shown in the video is from the front of the dive shop as shown in the picture below.

In this video of the reenactment, it appears that GG came out of the water,or said he did, far closer to the refinery than I had imagined

IMO, it appears the location in the video where Gary parked his car is on the side of JADS, based on this screen cap from the video and the comparison picture below it. In the comparison picture, note the greenery and location of cars parked on the side of the building. You can also see the rocky area as shown in the video.

From reenactment

Yes, that looks more like it. I know quite awhile back someone mentioned that they thought the camera in the gated area was in the dive shop. And from the looks of this picture that is exactly where it is. Thanks

Yes, I think it has been determined that he parked on the side
There was also some writing on the side wall in one of the reenactment photos that is not on the back wall

You would love Aruba. My husband was ex-LE and he loved Aruba more than any other island that we continued to visit every year. There is a lot to do there. The food is great, freshest fish ever and I'm not crazy about fish but will eat it in Aruba. Let's say as long as you trust your partner you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure you lock everything in your safe before you leave, same as any other vacation resort and you should be fine. Weather is about perfect, water is perfect, beach is perfect. Up at the high rise hotels at night you see a lot of people walking around, visiting shops, places to eat and they have a Dunkin Donuts right there. I've been going every year for 30 years. It must have something for me to keep going back. lol

I know from Christina Jones' webpage, aka, Sophia Parnacelli, that she is a "biker", owns a Harley, etc.

As biker's are known for their tattoos, this might explain CJ's. As far as the history of tattoos, in past generations, of those with large tattoos many were traditionally either military or bikers. That's just the way it was in the not so distant past.

I also know that tattoos have become more in fashion in recent years, all because of this Ed Hardy tattoo-designer dude. I probably would never have heard of Ed Hardy, but because I bought one of his handbags that I happened across at a local discount store, I did a little research on him, just because I research everything, LOL. What I learned is that Ed Hardy is pretty much the inspiration behind the phenomenal tattoo movement in today's younger generation.

Though these larger tattoos, such as CJ's and Robyn's, are still more prevalently associated with those in the biker culture.

I guess my question is, was Robyn part of this biker culture, did she have a motorcyle, or share one with someone? I don't know. Just askin'.

BTW, the reason I'm bringing this up has to do with Robyn's connections, and the people she associated with, just dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's, so to speak. TIA

This article is several years old now, but discusses trafficking in the Caribbean, specifically the Natalee Holloway case as well as the Amy Bradley case. But does talk about Aruba and Carlos and Charlie's.

Not MSM, so hope is ok.

I wonder if Robyn and GG went to Carlos and Charlie's when they were there.

Or maybe the Rum Reef Bar and Grill + GG = Carlos & Charlie's.

And Robyn was wearing that same dress everywhere she went. Easy for her to be spotted by the spotter, if that's what happened. The only time she wasn't wearing it appears to be when it was found lying on the rocks and she was gone. Like she just evaporated. :sigh:

There is no Carlos and Charlies in Aruba anymore
Hasn't been for several years

Carlos and Charlies was owned by the same person who owns Senior Frog's. Senior Frog's replaced Carlos downtown and there is a Senior Frog's that just opened up by the high rise hotels. I don't think Senior Frog's is quite as wild as Carlos was. jmo
