There are many places more accommodating than the one he chose
Lots of people prefer a more private setting on vacation... but there?
And again, I can not understand two trips to that place

Question??? If he wore running shoes because of the rocky shore ,how did Robyn get into the water?

Not walking, nor by her own volition :(. JMO.

If anyone has one, i would appreciate reading it

Me too. Suniskye had posted it as being reported on the local news there in MD. I can't find anything online.

Thats what we were told, but unfortunately,it has not been reported by MSM
Did you hear it?
Could you enlighten us?

Yeah, watch how everyone hangs on his every word and movement.
The people that despise him are the very people that continue to full his coffers fulls of the bucks, big bucks.
So the more people knock him, the more famous and richer he gets.

Besides the fact that he absolutely destroyed Burdick and Ashton.

LOL....right, maybe in his own mind. He's not doing so good with GG. He should have told him to keep his mouth shut, but no going on national tv is such a better idea.....and for who??? Why would you think SA were destroyed? They were just doing their job same as any other day....you win some, you lose some. The one who was destroyed was Caylee......how soon we forget.

As far as KC goes, she's not free is she, she's just in a nicer prison? So how is that winning?? jmo

No, I was going by what was reported here.

I wish the BF had more time to speak his peace. He was getting into areas that seemed to upset Baez. I would have liked to hear more from him. How dare Baez tell him this will be his last interview. :furious:

Was this from GMA? That's hilarious - Baez is a bully whose going to find out some day what "beginner's luck" means.

What kind of lawyer lets his client go on national TV and run his mouth like this? Every bit of this will be used in depositions....and I have a feeling this is far from over.

I have heard that her dress was somewhere there, nothing about her footwear. They may have found them ... I don't think we've heard one way or the other - unless GG provided that information. He sure doesn't seem very mournful ... given that he misplaced a friend that he had known for over a year.

The Aruban authorities have already concluded that he is a liar, so that's nothing new. That isn't enough to prosecute for murder ... not in Aruba and not in the US.

GG is giving too much information in telling us that he snorkelled in his running shoes. Baez and GG are quite the pair - cashing in on interviews. What kind of lawyer advises his client to get on TV during an ongoing investigation? How is that ever in the client's best interests? Is greed behind all this stupidity?

Honestly, after getting Casey off, I think Baez feels he can get anyone off....and I tend to believe him. Unless you're poor or unless the murder was video-taped and time stamped and a witness signed a statement and your rights weren't violated in the State where you killed someone - I don't think anyone with a little bit of money or a fame who*e for an attorney could get convicted if they wanted to.

I'm still wondering, given the FCA case, how they ever prosecuted Scott Peterson.

BEM: He had to get a coffer when Casey Anthony sold pictures and videos of her dead daughter to the very media Jose says he despises.

"Big bucks" is a relative term, but yeah, he's made a lot of blood money on that beautiful, dead, baby girl.

It wasn't about destroying Burdick and Ashton, it was about Caylee - to Baez and Casey it was just a game.

BBM: The jury listened, used their common sense and did not ask for pretzels. It also helped that the defendant was not allowed to make googlie eye contact with jury members. lol

This post lands at random-

Please keep on the topic of the Gardner case...I realize that JB crosses over, but the thread is about Robyn.

TIA!

In the video where he is knocking on doors: Do I see him wearing white socks? and has anyone seen his equipment and the police reports from Aruba? Human trafficing is his new option for her dissappearance? I dont know whether to laugh or sigh...hummm

I just noticed his shoes are leather type reboks or the like...you DONT take those in the water

Van Zandt says investigators in the Holloway case searched nearby islands in the off chance that she had been kidnapped as part of a human trafficking incident.

Now, in the Gardner case, both the victim's boyfriend and Giordano have talked about Gardner being a possible victim of human trafficking.

But Van Zandt dismisses that theory.

Maybe Aruba should look into revising their legal procedures. No body, no case will lead many to believe if they want to get rid of a partner....go to Aruba and take them snorkeling, just don't get caught. jmo

Aruban officials have said previously a murder conviction is possible without a body, but the case requires strong evidence such as a confession, reliable statements and forensic evidence of wrongdoing. Aruba is a Dutch protectorate and as such operates under Dutch law.

The above statement was in regard to the NH case, but I think it stands here as well

GG had sneakers on because you cannot get into the water at that location without them. It's impossible to walk in that water barefooted because of all the rocks. They are not flat river rocks they are rocks that jet up from the bottom making walking dangerous and I would think one would be off balance until you could get out into deeper water which is quite a way out.

GG claims they were in 10 to 15 foot water at 6pm. The sun is already low in the sky to the northwest and he wants everyone to believe that they could actually see 10 to 15 foot below. No wonder the Aruban authorities think his story is full of holes, because it is. I've gone into the water at Eagle Beach at 5pm at night and once you get waist deep you can't see anything clearly in the water at that time.

The southern most portion where Baby Beach is located faces Venezuela and not the open ocean. This is the beachy side of the western portion of Aruba where a body would be expected to wash back onto the shore and the investigators fully expected this to happen if she went in where GG said she did. The eastern shoreline faces the open ocean. Only Curacao is on the eastern side but basically the open ocean faces that side. jmo

For what it's worth - not sure how this fits into the puzzle - they were, in fact, in the ocean. That came out kind of early that the shoes were wet, and the bsuit was dry when LE showed up.

There is also a witness who was fishing who said he saw them, they did not go in the water, but drove away

Snipped

But a man who was fishing at the spot at the time the Maryland woman is claimed to have vanished said that the pair left the beach without going into the water

The only one we know for sure that was in the water was GG and he could not go in barefooted (which he claims RG did) because of the rocks. Even though GG claims there were a lot of people there on the beach no one saw them go into the water and the fisherman claims they did not, but after 20 minutes got into the car and left. So it's only alleged that she was in the water. There is no proof other than GG claiming she was and his story up to this point (because he claims not to want give a detailed accounting) is looking like a piece of swiss cheese. jmo

The vast majority of the information being put out to the public is either rumor or someones interpretation as can be seen from not only this case but the Natalee Holloway case as well.
Most of the media outlets are feeding the frenzy with hyped up story telling to an audience that wants him to be guilty just as with the Casey Anthony case and the Natalee Holloway case as well.
The result of this disinformation, although spicy, certainly does not lend itself to finding out what happened.
Just like the Natalee Holloway case, this case is following a similiar pattern with the 2 sides feeding half truths and rumor turned into fact, the result being that the actual victim gets lost in the process.
In the Natalee Holloway case this is exactly what transpired and by the time the facts were seperated from the fiction, far too much time had elapsed and any chance of finding the victim had been lost.
