Giordano was probably just trying to be friendly or trying to make conversation. IMO

Lambchop I have read all the articles on this from the beginning of the case and have never read Giordano telling the RumReef worker about sleeping pills.
He did mention pills to the police, and when they later checked Robyn's belongings they found Ambien. Giordano had stated to the police to have seen her carrying a bottle of pills but not knowing what those were for.




Yes that would have been odd, but there were many misunderstandings early on. For example the RumReef worker said that he found it strange that Robyn and Giordano had went snorkeling (because Robyn was wearing make up etc). That was interpretated as Giordano having told the RumReef worker they would go snorkeling, but that was not the case, the RumReef worker was responding to what he had read in the news.

Oh, it is possible. I just know we had a whole discussion about what the server said, but again it was awhile ago so I agree. I just remember someone saying this is what the server told police because they had been asked if GG had purchased any liquor from the bar. It sounds like something the bartender would have said to LE that she appeared woosie and he said she took some sleeping pills. But it is possible that version is not true. I was hoping someone other than me remembered where that information came from. Thanks.

Okay, I just looked at the map again and it appears the actors and LE were standing behind the Dive Shop and the sand you see is the southwestern portion of Baby Beach cove. This is the picture where they are standing and you can see the beach behind them. GG went into the water on the ocean side of the peninsula. He could never say she went into the water where they are standing because she would still be there when police arrived because the entrance to the cove is way down at the end of the peninsula. This was just before the actors got into their car and went to the site where GG claims to have gotten into the water.

I found the article.
ALE said they found Ambien in the hotelroom and that these were prescribed to Robyn. Giordano told them Robyn was carrying pills and that he did not know what they were for but that she had taken one of the pills that afternoon. No discrepancy here.

Investigators found Ambien in the hotel room Gardner shared with Giordano. She is prescribed the sleeping pills. Giordano told investigators Gardner took one of the pills in the afternoon. Later that day, he maintains Gardner disappeared while snorkeling. Was she carrying them (in her bag), or were they in the hotel room? That doesn't seem to be a discrepancy?

If he first told LE she had pills in her bag and they were not in her bag but in the room how would he explain she had sleeping pills in her system if her body turned up the next day??? Is this why he added that she had taken a sleeping pill earlier before leaving for Baby Beach? jmo

He does not sound like a criminal that has been very successful at what he has tried to do. Escaping punishment for those deeds yes, but the actual deeds themselves...he's not good at it. So it is funny how people who are planning to commit a crime and are not "pros" at it will often bring attention to themselves without realizing it. This is what the servers probably picked up on. It was too rehearsed, IMO, and phoney to them. Not genuine. When people try to set the stage for a crime they are usually overanxious so they appear a little unnatural. jmo

Yes, thank you. I do remember reading that because GG first claimed that they had not been drinking at the bar, LE checked with the bar to see if he had ordered drinks. Then GG admitted they had been drinking moderately because the server said she appeared woosie.

Seems strange he would mention the pills in her bag when they were in her room. So if the server did tell LE GG claimed she took sleeping bills did GG tell LE she had pills in her bag but he didn't know what they were for. When LE found no pills in her bag but in the room is that when his story changed.

Here we go, more questions then we have answers for???? jmo

You are right. So have we "confirmed as fact " which beach they went snorkeling? I think GG said it was close to the "dive shop"--which one would
that be? Maybe we can at least agree on that much. Is there a map somewhere with the exact location confirmed by LE. I still don't know which beach you all are working with . Help me out here, I am going in circles.LOL.:iamashamed:

It has been established that they entered the water from a point that was rocky and offered good snorkeling.

A "rocky point", rocky in the sense of rocks, not un-balanced.

One does have to be careful of going in ever decreasing circles though.

It was never established that this was a good place to snorkel. In fact Mr. Silva said it was not a good place to go into the water (video link provided earlier). Another video shows no fish just a lot of rocks jutting up from the sandy bottom. There is nothing in the video that would attract fish, no reef or vegetation. The only thing we can see are small one inch clear colored fish. The dive shop manager claims divers enter the water from the Rodger's Beach side where there is vegetation and recommended snorkeling is in the channel that runs along the easterly side of Baby Beach. The channel is the only recommended area for snorkelers to swim and I believe there is a sign on the Baby Beach side warning snorkelers to use the channel. So it has never been established that there is good snorkeling in that exact location but if you have a link it would be interesting to check it out. Thanks jmo

Vlpate: One of the reports above states that RG cut her toe in the water, got out and then reentered to water for the second time so that is where you may have seen that report. Matt Gutman, ABC reporter for GMA, reports she supposedly cut her toe on a white rock. To me the rock looks smooth but it hard to tell. This could be where the rumor started that there was blood on the rock??? jmo

The whole beach location has been something that was unclear from the beginning.

The first reports claimed they went swimming behind the former Nanki Country Club.
Then it was mentioned Robyn allegedly drowned while snorkeling at Baby Beach.
Then it was mentioned they had went swimming at Rodgers beach.
Then it was mentioned they went swimming between Rogers Beach and Baby Beach.
Then two months later someone made a video of "rocky point" and since then it has been assumed that is where Giordano claims they went snorkeling.

You said the whole area is the same (as in rocks) but how then does that fit witnesses who have seen them walking the shoreline, if it is just jagged rocks how could Robyn walk the shoreline there on high heels or barefoot?
Then there are witnesses who claim the towels of Robyn and Giordano were on the beach and her dress aside from the towels on the beach, if it is all rocks how could anyone be lying there even when using a towel?

You keep referring to Babybeach while as far as I know they were at the southern part of Rodgers Beach, that is not just rocks, there are area's of rocks, but since there are area's of sand too, why does ABC show the rocks only, why would anyone assume they must have walked over these jagged rocks while they could have walked in the sand?

Then I see footage of the re enactment, and I see no rocks, it is green and sand in the re enactment.

Here is a picture of the area, you have been there, can you point out to me where in your opinion they went into the sea? TIA

I hope this will make clear up exactly where GG said he went into the water. To our left in the picture would be the road coming into Baby Beach and the restaurant area. It is the only way to get to that area because it is on the refinery property and there is one way in and one way out. In the center of the picture are a clump of buildings, the clubhouse, Rum Reef and the dive shop. The front of restaurant faces out towards the ocean which is directly to your right in the picture. There is no view on the left because the clubhouse is there. To the right is the peninsula and behind the restaurant and dive shop is Baby Beach.

In the video GG and RG arrive and depart from the righthand side (as we are viewing it) of the front of the restaurant. Their car was parked in the direction they were coming in, not from the peninsula. GG is seen in the video coming for help from the lefthand side of the building which would be where that rocky peninsula is located. He supposedly ran 100 yards to get to the restaurant from the direction of the peninsula. So Matt Gutman is correct as he was out on the peninsula when he did his report. He also pointed to the rock that RG was supposed to have cut her toe on so that is very specific.

I agree while some of the reporters seem to report inaccurate information the majority of the reports seem to be consistent plus GG accounting also back up what has been reported in the media. Problem comes in when ALE is reporting that certain statements he has made just do not match up with what they know are facts. Some are inconsistencies that anyone could misreport while giving a statement but others are not, are major and that is why he is a prime suspect. jmo

Thanks LambChop, you have stopped me "mid circle". Now could we agree on the NAME of that beach in which they entered? That would be a good start. ALE and GG have agreed they entered the water at ------- Beach??
