I never had PPD, but I have worked with people who have and it is NOT pretty, like you say.

It sure is not about going out to clubs every night, or bedding down all the men you can find. The cases I have seen, the women struggle just to get a shower each day and survive to the next day. They sure don't drink and text 20 hours out of 24 because they barely have the energy to stay out of bed for the daytime hours.

That will never wash.

I don't know what I had,I just didn't want to have sex, I did not want to hurt my daughter. But I'm fine now.

Isn't this normally discussed reviewed at the end of a trial? How can a decision be made without going through all of the information there is? One can't just ASSUME that "the crime was not cold, calculated and premeditated." Isn't that the point of having a trial?

No one can not...I'm sure a key talking point will be when the searches for the chloroform were done? I don't know how the prosecution could prove it was KC searching but the fact is somone searched and to me it screams premeditation.

he is getting out ahead of the finding of the body..........another possibility is ga told them where it is...........

interesting. Very interesting.

My thoughts exactly! Over and over again, everyone said that she was acting normally. Reckon they are throwing it out there to see if it will stick?!

It's not sticky enough. :)

I read that snippet a few times - "Anthony's behavior was described by friends and family as "erratic and not entirely rational"

I thought she was said to act normally, everyone that LE interviewed said that she acted like she did any other day

So how was she erratic and not entirely rational?

 Maybe it means b/c most people wouldn't have the "nads" to lie over & over to the police, take them to an office she does not have to retrieve a phone she probably didnt have from a desk she didnt have. But see, in KC's world, that IS normal, in a backwards kind of way. :behindbar:behindbar

Cindy did not kick Casey out and she did not leave with Caylee, other than to take her to the imaginary babysitter.
So there was no fight and she intended on coming home June 16th...except she killed her daughter? Could be.

ETA: wait, wait, wait...then what about Casey's leaving to go off and bond with her daughter? She just woke up the 16th and decided to do that? Nah...something big happened on the 15th...

Sorry again, for "chiming" in:

but the "if anyone deserves the death penalty, it's Casey" doesn't "fly" with me.

You are talking to someone who knows that there are some slimes out there who definitely deserve the death penalty more than her. I'm sure some of you who are well-studied on criminal cases and can think of more than a few...

She'll never meet the legal standard of being mentally ill.

SO agree Janis...simply stated...

All the prosecution has to do is run the miles of footage and photos showing her in the days after Caylee was missing...the accounts of her friends.

Sure looks like we may know something more soon!

Better sign back off so I can do stuff, see y'all later...I hate it that I don't get post real time with you all!

I think that someone (defense attorney) is pretty sure that the body will be found this weekend. I'm starting to believe this even though before I was highly doubtful.

I don't believe the timing has anything to do with the upcoming search. The prosecution will soon decide whether to push for the death penalty. Now is the appropriate time for the defense to attempt to prevent that from happing. The search is irrelevant.

I'll bet anything Cindy and/or George are going to be raked over the coals somehow at this trial.

  • #211
The timing of this is suspicious. Seems like they want it out there prior to the search this weekend. Must be getting very close to finding Caylee.

I noticed this too. Well they better work fast TES is in town today and with GA in the same area that they are searching something is up.

I also heard that LE and the State were not doing any more deals with KC because they gave her one chance (about 2 - 3 weeks to come clean) and JB blew it royally.

Yup...but that happened right before she left the house...which the therapist also advised her (CA) to do (kick her out). So obviously no one saw it as a threat that Casey would leave with Caylee...unless they never believed Casey would.

Can ANYONE point me in the direction of a confirmed source that DFS opened a file BEFORE Casey/Caylee went missing? I know I was TOLD that, but can't find it. The source of that "complaint" and the timing of it could blow this whole argument, imo..

So much emotional distress, yet she never had counseling. :waitasec:

yeah right,... Cindy would have called the police the first second Caylee was gone more than a day with Casey if she was really in emotional distress. I seriously don't think Cindy thought Caylee was in danger with Casey. She just thought Casey was using Caylee as a pawn to get whatever she wanted. If Cindy thought Caylee was in danger I am SURE she would have called police right away and harassed them until they did something about it. Regardless if Casey is Caylee's mother. jmo

The defense team is ONLY trying to get the death penalty off the table before this heads to trial.

:behindbar:behindbar And I hope they don't succeed. :behindbar

I also think the search is not the reason for this document. I think the search is a real longshot, unfortunately.

I do think this new 30 page statement is HUGE and MEANINGFUL and relates more to the defense finally coming to terms with the fact CA's life is on the line and that they have no case other than mental defect/instability.

Baby Photos Of Caylee's Mom Used In Request To Avoid Death Penalty

"In this case, no one knows how death might have happened, if at all," stated the document, which was also obtained by Local 6 News. "If death did occur, the death was almost certainly a tragic accident."

Anthony's defense team also raises the possibility that Caylee may have been poisoned by chloroform, saying, "Death may have occurred while the child was sedated or from an unwitting overdose of a sedative."

this is just so wierd about the chloroform....seems like they are trying to cover all areas...kind of makes you wonder if somehting has happened and that is why GA was out and about....

what difference would the trial be if they went for DP vs. life in prision??? I was always thinking that with the DP the jury could go for life in prision?? tia in advance...this whole thing has baffled me...

So there was no fight and she intended on coming home June 16th...except she killed her daughter? Could be.

There is no evidence of a fight at this point and certainly no evidence of Casey taking Caylee and moving out. All Caylee's things were left behind. I don't like to pretend that everyone involved with Caylee on the 15th and 16th of June is a liar or to 'imagine' scenerios and then twist the facts to fit them.

They included baby photos of KC in this document! (Talk about too little, too late.) I doubt that we'll see one of Caylee in there.

I love the thing with baby photos. Did they think the prosecutor would look at them and say "Oh how cuuuuuuttee!!!! We can't possibly give her the death penalty!!!!"

Reported on WFTV9 Orlando

Baez "We all believe [Caylee is] alive and, if these tips, if there's one credible tip in that 5,000, it's worth us going through them," attorney Jose Baez told Eyewitness News on Wednesday.

The defense is accusing prosecutors of purposely releasing all the psychics' tips first just to make it appear as though there were no credible tips showing Caylee is alive. The Anthonys claims about following her kidnappers and getting closer to finding her don't seem to be panning out.

"She says she gave the child to a babysitter that no one can find. Doesn't the key lie with her? Why do you need to rely on stranger's tips when she is the one who could really lead you in some direction?" WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked attorney Jose Baez (full interview).
"Kathi, I'm not going to discuss theories of defense or anything we plan on bringing out in court. The truth is, under the rules of discovery we're entitled to it," Baez said.

Investigators said the tips are not panning out because Caylee's gone.

"Do you think she's being open and honest with you?" Belich asked Baez.

"I don't think it's wise to make statements about my communication with her," he said."

Well it's about time someone asked Baez why he needed tips from strangers to find Caylee when he had Casey. And he can't even answer the question, gives the excuse that it's part of the defense strategy and will come out in trial.

Bolded by me -

Please see my signature quote below - Casey has already answered this question :clap::clap:
