Looks that way. She clearly changed after having Caylee. But even if it is proven that she was suffering post partum dep(We call it post natal depression here) then theres still accountability. It wont get her off.

And JB got this in just in time, didnt he? They know TES will find Caylee this weekend.

Every woman changes when they have their first baby, and most struggle with the adjustment. But Casey had it wayyyyy easier than anyone I know who's had a baby - she got to be at her parents cushy home, they probably did the majority of caring for Caylee as an infant, they paid all the bills, and Casey never even had to get up and go to work!! So, sorry, but she gets ZERO sympathy from me on the whole "it was hard becoming a mom" thing.

And didn't her Cupid.com account say motherhood made her the happiest she'd ever been (or something like that)?? So, no, ain't buyin' it.

oh wow...

I thought you are only post partum after giving birth or am I wrong? That doesn't make any sense to me.
I'm told that it can go on until children reach adulthood. LOL.

Tough luck!

Yes, I doubt that will have much effect after the jury hears all of the evidence. Just speculating on the reason for the pics of Casey as a child.

It might be wise for the prosecution to take the death penalty off the table. If one person on that jury has a problem with the possibility of Casey getting death - they may not vote to convict on murder one.

Orlando Sentinel just changed the headline to "Casey Anthony lawyer: Take death penalty off the table" now. I think they don't want to go to trial. WFTV spoke to JB and they asked about the check fraud case and JB said that they are just not ready for it so they want it postponed.

Does post partum depression usually go away right after you murder your child? She sure didn't seem depressed at fusian.

Isn't 2 1/2 years a little late PPD.
---------
I agree.I've only seen one woman with PPD,baby was 4 mos. old. I suppose it could happen but I dont think her actions point towards it either. They know she killed her,but jumping the gun.I think she would help herself if she told where the baby is.IMO.

Just b/c the death penalty is sought by the prosecution has nothing to do with getting a conviction. The jury always has a chioce between lwop or death. So a conviction does not = an automatic death sentence. The judge also has to agree with any jury's decision of death.

There is no evidence of a fight at this point and certainly no evidence of Casey taking Caylee and moving out. All Caylee's things were left behind. I don't like to pretend that everyone involved with Caylee on the 15th and 16th of June is a liar or to 'imagine' scenerios and then twist the facts to fit them.

How is it twisting the facts? Didn't the next door neighbor state he heard the fight between CA and Casey on the 15th?

If I remember there's two parts of the trial...the 2nd part being the sentencing.

Think about it, all the things that she was doing. Most of us criticize her for not doing and acting like a normal mother would that has a child missing. She is and has not been normal. She did not do rational things. She appeared to act normal to her friends and family, but what is rational about stealing AH's check book, sleeping with all those guys, all the lies and whatever else that we don't know about. That it is self shows some big time issues with her. She had to of known she would be caught. She was living for the moment and that is what is so irrational about her behavior. IMO she is very ill and no one saw it or acknowledged her problems until it was to late.

No, KC is lazy not crazy. Caylee was simply the first person to cut KC off from her parents easy money and she was the first road block for KC doing all the things she wanted to do with her friends (like PR).

The possibility of death COULD keep a juror from voting for murder one IF the juror felt even a smidgen of doubt about Casey's guilt.

I don't get it either. It certainly looks like they know they don't have a chance with all of the evidence against Casey. Maybe it has something to do with the discovery docs Jose has already received. ??? :waitasec: It looks like they will going for an insanity defense.

Let's not forget he just questioned the main witnesses of the case, Tony L., the tow truck driver, the mangaer from the tow yard and the manager at the amscot, not to mention the discovery docs, now I want to know what they are really going to say. "It will all come out at the trial" :waitasec: Are we having a little problem trying to come up with something now.

Probably taking the advice of many posters here and staying out of the limelight.

I thought when mothers suffer this, they don't want to do much of anything, let alone party. jmo

not standing up for casey, i don't know whether she had ppd or not, obviously. but ppd is a lot more complicated and varying than just 'not wanting to do much of anything'. and people who have any kind of depression aren't all just sitting in dark corners crying, either. just saying.

honestly I would rather see her get lwop just b/c I see the dp as simply "putting them out of their misery". Chances are she will spend her sentence in solitary due to the conviction being associated with harming a child. life in solitary..much worse than death.

If you kill a child it should be automatic death penalty. Wouldn't that be the worst kind of homicide? Or am I hallucinating again??

But for KC, I prefer her to see a life of suffering behind bars. Nice long life, into her 90's. Everyday may she think of Caylee and what she did.

This was written by that Miami lawyer they've brought in. At least he seems to see the situation for what it is.

I was thinking the same thing, let's keep it real now:)
