This is slightly off the current topic, and apologies if this has been mentioned previously (trying to catch up on all this), but I was just thinking about the car accident where the two children were killed, and then I thought about the clothes found in the suitcase. There were a couple of boys' items in there like the boys' boxer shorts. From memory they were a larger size also. Just wondering if they belonged to a boy and were accidentally put with Khandalyse's things??

Oona, I could be wrong but I don't think it has any relevance and suspect it is a glitch with the video made by 9 News

Ive seen that exact same glitch on another video as well that was related to this case but it went for a little bit longer....I will try to find it cause it will bug me. It was the same guy in the tile shop

So, if they did the runner around the 2/12/2011 they may have parted ways with each other.. because he was engaged in 2012 to a 16 year old Canberra girl. I read (not sure where) it was in MSM, that they were together in early 2012 and the nuptials (eye roll) were to be June/July 2012.

What I'd give to be a fly on a wall at the Charny(Charnwood) pub...:shush:

Can anyone find a link to the date in 2011 they did the runner from the Hillbank property? Wondering if it could coincide with the 2 December 2011 release of the facial reconstruction of the then unknown "Belangalo girl"? I know some of the article left behind are Christmas decorations. I know they didnt go far, but it may have relevance if that house is connected to Karlie in some way. Apologies if this has already been sorted.. so much to take in..

Has the relationship break up timeframe been properly established? <modsnip> I don't believe DJB can pulled off a sophisticated ID theft on his own. And also I think the car accident could be a trigger for the events that follows.

The wording "at least two women" is interesting. Maybe more than just one other woman involved.

First post and not replying to any post in particular.

I have been following your discussions since the suitcase was first found (sorry for the similar username possumHeart). I wanted to contribute to the discussion many times lately, but things are moving so fast I cannot keep up.

Before the latest developments, I too thought that Khandalyce may have been connected to the House of Horrors or the cult in the Adelaide Hills. The suitcase man also made me think that the suitcase may have been dumped in a hurry due to the Sampson Flat fires and he was trying to find the suitcase again.

The cairne near the suitcase must be linked somehow to Khandalyce. The previous photos posted here show how the location and type of rocks and bricks have changed. Following on from the roadblock / RBT idea from Bliss, if you look at the cairne coming from Wynarka to Adelaide, it does just look like a pile of rocks. But if you zoom into the cairne with Google Earth travelling to Wynarka from Adelaide, I see a little girl dragging her teddy bear. I know our emotions are getting to us at the moment, so I have attached a pdf with the two versions of the cairne.

The sudden media coverage of police wanting to capture GS and MS urgently after 8 years on the run made me think that GS (minus the beard) may have been the suitcase man.

The ice pipe found in the car with DH and the young girl engaged to him could be linked IMO. My opinion could be tainted by my local media (such as the following story from earlier this year), but there is always a chance that Crabstick's theory is correct about DH.

I'm sorry if this has already been suggested, but I don't recall having read any other posts with this theory;

What if Holdom thought he was Khandalyce's bio father? (Although we know she had a different bio dad) Perhaps he paid child support and had visits with her. That would explain how neighbors may have seen Khandalyce at the Davoren Park home, without Karlie, and also the reason that she is photographed at the car show in August on Facebook. Maybe Holdon found out the truth (perhaps that was the whole purpose of the road trip - to tell him the truth), and he got angry and murdered Karlie. Maybe he kept Khandalyce alive longer for DNA testing (like the drug-store kind that you do at home and Mail away), and killed her after the results came back.
If this is the case, he may have felt entitled to any funds in her bank account, and, if his partner also helped shell out for child support, maybe she also felt entitled to it.
If his partner knew about the murders, she would definitely be afraid of him enough to impersonate Karlie at the bank, if she was told to.
IMO. MOO.

I suggest that any Davoren Park neighbours who claim to have seen Khandalyce have been neighbours for a loooong time. I would credit them with knowing the difference between Khandalyce and a child with whom they are by now well acquainted.

Further: there's something unique about Khandalyce.... And that is her name. I had not heard of the name Khandalyce before Wynarka Angel was identified. If witnesses are saying that they saw Khandalyce then I suspect they're going on more than age and blonde hair.
