The sad thing is a little child may go home without a mother tonight.

Yet another innocent victim stemming from the actions of adults, so sad.

Part of me hopes not for the little ones sakes. It is always the children who suffer and cannot understand.

Anybody else think the lack of people around attempting to shield HP from the press is unusual? A lot of the time in these sorts of situations, there are an abundance of friends/family etc hanging around having little spats with the press.

No I don't find that unusual but it also probably explains why the carer needs to be with HP when she is being hounded by the press on the way to the police station and also why the children are with them. There may be no-one else to look after them.

Ms Passmore, her partner, and the other Major Crime detective had yet to leave the interview room.

At 1.40pm, Ms Passmore and her partner were seen leaving the interview room with a detective and moving further back into the secure area of the station.

Thanks Amee. Yes that article does say that JM was with HP in the interview room on Friday. Perhaps because he is her carer, he was allowed to stay, or he was also being questioned. It's been reported today that JM and the children are still waiting and not actually in the interview room. Different ball game today perhaps?

Same here, I hope in one way she is totally innocent but I think she is right in the thick of it. IMO

I find it surprising that she has to carry that youngest child around on her knee, in the wheelchair, while he pushes it.. Social Services would have provided babysitters, since her amputation, and certainly since her ongoing pregnancies and births..paid for by SS ... She would have been on a roster, ... even the local church would have been in the mix.

So it would seem a matter of choice, and not necessity , to me.

Sometimes, no matter how traumatic, that is a good thing.

and the news people would have probably been notified before poor Hazel, I presume...

The lack of family / friend support is probably the reason she ended up in this situation and with a guy like DH in the first place...

I agree crab stick, particularly if she is charged with anything related to the horrible heinous crime .
