Someone earlier (sorry, I can't remember who) suggested that since DH had a business that included "detailing" and was active on the car show and drags circuits, it probably meant he earned money detailing show cars, a very labour intensive job.
If this particular car was one of DH's clients' cars, the suggestion was that HP might refer to it as "the bosses car" - meaning this is one DH worked on for his boss.

That was me, Jane, but as another poster pointed out detailing and labouring can be associated with readying homes for sale.

I can't recall it being mentioned anywhere that HP and Karlie met through Netball let alone years earlier.

Considering they grew up in different States I would be surprised if they had met this way.

Hazel lived in Alice Springs (Link Provided)...... she moved to Adelaide after the car accident - there is a MSM article that states that...something to do with housing or healthcare...I'll try to find that and ETA when I do.

Here is a story about netball. No connection with HP though

She (Karlie) played netball for her school and was coached by her mum.

Here is some random other infp

Karlie is thought to have travelled to Adelaide, Darwin and Canberra, with the last confirmed sightings in Charnwood, near Canberra. Before that she’d been stopped by police during a routine patrol near Coober Pedy.

What is also becoming clear that she (Karlie) spent some time with Daniel Holdom and his then-partner Hazel Passmore in 2008.

Khandalyce was pictured in a photo Ms Passmore posted in August of that year on Facebook. A month later her own two children were killed in a car crash that left her wheelchair-bound. Holdom was the driver.

I have scoured quite a few car forums for photo's of the car show in 2008 but a lot of the photo's weren't available to view anymore. Do they expire?

I did find some however but they were from the morning before the show was officially open to the public so there weren't many people around in the background of the photo's........

Someone did a lot of traveling before Karlie came along, one month before the accident.

So when did Karlie rock into Adelaide? A month later there is a car accident?

They were flown to Alice Springs for hospital treatment, with Ms Passmore left crippled and confined to a wheelchair.

Her main Facebook page — which featured a tribute to her two dead children — showed how she had travelled extensively with them between 2006 and 2007 along the eastern coast, from Canberra, in the ACT, to Townsville in Far North Queensland.

Other pictures showed Holdom with her children camping at locations in SA, including Quorn and Taree.

A rented 4WD hire car?

Holdom was driving a Toyota 4WD south of Marla on September 15, 2008, when it rolled, killing Willow and Ryan and leaving Ms Passmore and her 10-month-old daughter, Lauryn, with serious injuries.

I wonder if part of the motive for these crimes was pathological jealousy and insecurity? Typical characteristics of a narcissist.

Someone may have been jealous of the attractiveness and youth of our little pocket rocket. Wanted to be her (literally) and have everything (and everyone) she possessed; while it suited them, anyway. When it didn't they were dumped like so much trash.

Even though the object of that person's jealousy is no more, they still wouldn't like her getting any sympathy at all so would have no problem encouraging scuttlebutt - the same scuttlebutt that cost an innocent Mouse her life.

Would also fit in with a submissive partner of either sex.
