'to help Karlie get away and hide'.....this is assuming the drug dependant 'carer' of Connie is on the money, which would be odd, him /her being the only one with this story, which, suddenly, they decide to tell the Advertiser.... this is also assuming that in a town of 26,000 people, Karlie is allowed to run up a $25,000 debt, no worries........I'm not buying it.
'to help Karlie lay a false trail'.... again, this has to assume the 'carer' of Connie has the story.
'think she was the original crimestoppers informant.. now , this is a huge huge leap... and if this is so, why on earth would she need a high priced barrister?? She should have been escorted to the police offices in cotton wool, with lunch provided. .. but it certainly didn't seem that way, as her last session with the detectives resulted in her being put 'under caution'....
As for the stuff you find convincing re 'relationships' and all that, that's a matter of individual opinion. God alone knows what Connie's Carer is going to come up with in the next few weeks on that subject, could be anything.
True. As you say, it is a matter of individual opinion.
However, there is also the interesting fact that nobody (family or police) has publicly denied the carer's story - well, so far anyway.
As for how she may have had a $25k debt, nobody knows, but there is no indication that it was due to her personal use.
I'd agree, the idea that she ran up a personal drug debt so big is very doubtful indeed.
