This is backed up if you look at a map.
There is absolutely no reason to go through Condamine to get to either surat or to Roma.
There is petrol stations both on the Warrego highway and also Surat development road.
Both of which are closer and not out of her way.
Seems strange she would go to Condamine for any reason, except for if she was doing something there.
I believe she either dropped something there & something has gone wrong & possibly even been murdered in Condamine and then her car driven to Surat with her inside, dumping her body near the entrance of Noorindoo road on their way to Surat as they freaked out.
That’s when I believe the car was seen on CCTV in Surat, with someone else driving.

After afew weeks clarity I think they have decided to take the car back, put her body inside and driven further up the road into a property where they think police will believe it’s either suicide or has something to do with the land owner.

I don’t have a theory if the boyfriend was involved but I believe he definitely knows what happened but has stayed silent in fear for his own life.

As for changing clothes - it could be as simple as it was too hot so she took off the long sleeve.
It gets extremely hot in that area in this time of year. She left in the morning & was probably cool enough with it, but as the day went on she got hot.

I’ve been thinking a lot about where the car was found in proximity to where her remains were found. 1km to me feels like a long way to walk away from your car to end your life, and also to carry a body.

But what if she was being followed (ie chased) by another vehicle… she’s pulled into the property, driven as far as she could and then got out and started running / hiding from someone chasing her, until she’s met her demise.

Or she’s gone on a drug induced bender, walked away from her vehicle and simply got lost and perished.

Autopsy results will be very telling IMO MOO

There’s no appeal for information or mention of wanting to find out who did this to her. And the words ‘rest easy now our beautiful girl’ make it sound like she’s had some MH struggles.

Did Tayla send a photo of herself in her white shirt and if so, WHY would she do this given she's driving toward Roma. Did she take a photo of herself whilst driving her car????

What happened on that road heading toward Roma.

How did the car end up on a property in Noorindoo and her pink shirt is inside the car when found.

I feel like I can see a splash of pink on both sides. Australians drive on the left, which i think means the steering wheel is on the right, which means we are looking for a splash of pink in the nearside window presumably, but I feel like I can see pink on the other side too.

There are still so many unknowns. I wonder if the police have been keeping very quiet, waiting for the discovery of a body, in order to make a move.

I agree. Drugs has been my going theory but I agree with this.



Unrelated - the folks engaging in websleuths always make me feel like a damned mess lol I have most definitely changed my shirt on the side of the road. Like I said earlier Nothing about that is a big deal with me because it’s just normal life

Yesssss I'm totally with you on this one, other than she was killed before surat, I seen the cctv still, and I think its her in the car and believe she made it there... but other than that, yup, maybe the car was to be used as payment and they killed her for it, then return it!!! Yesss good theory

The only reason I believe she didn’t make it to Surat, is the fact that she was found down Norindoo road.
This makes me believe she was put here on the way to Surat, because it’s such a specific road for her body to be found considering the large area of land around the area.
It could just be a coincidence, but the fact that her car travelled from Condamine to Surat and went past the entrance for this road & then her car was seen heading in the opposite direction to that road and to her home in Roma at 11:10 but not seen coming back through Surat to get to Norindoo road again is what is making me suspicious that her car never actually traveled back to that spot until a later date, when it was either driven at night time to go undetected, or put in a concealed car trailer and taken there.

I do believe her body was moved though, I think they freaked out as they knew they hadn’t hidden her body well enough & after afew weeks decided to go and move her body futher up Norindoo road along with her car, to try and stage a suicide or medical episode or to shift blame to the property owner or like we have seen, a hitchhiker or back packer.

I do also think it is possible she was kept alive for awhile as she apparently owed money. Could explain the partner selling stuff on marketplace only afew days after she went missing.
Then after she couldn’t pay & possibly didn’t co operate, she was killed.
This one may be far fetched, but I have seen and heard stories within the drug world where this isn’t out of the ordinary at all.

Another thing to add is that it’s a possibility the reason she was in contact with her ex in jail, could be explained by the fact she was in a big hole with the debt and as a last ditch effort she asked him to help her pay it off by doing a run for someone he knows. (People pay lots of money for drug runs)
& I am in no way saying he set her up to be killed. I don’t think it was a plan to kill her. I think it may have been a heat of the moment thing especially if whoever she was dropping stuff to failed to hold up their end (something like not handing her money but taking the drugs they were supposed to get) then she may have refused to give them the package which caused an argument and ultimately ended her life.

So glad you think that too!! Yep, ALL opinions are valid! I guess the best thing is to not read into comments anything that isn't there, that way it saves confusion.

The autopsy sure will reveal more. AND hopefully the investigation will reveal much more than what is known publicly, especially all the conflicting comments online, both with the public, the family and the media.

This sounds a real possibility.

Being chased by someone who was a threat to Tayla maybe?
If she owed money for drugs it could be possible.

Something is very odd about all of this. The sister online said, when asked what could be in the large bag, that she had things still in storage because she used to live in Dalby.

Someone else here said the sister said it was clothing. Could be clothing that was stored I guess?

Its a huge heavy bag. And where was TN at 8am Sunday morning when she was struggling to carry that heavy bag?

Someone who knows both her and TN might possibly know more of what went down that weekend.

What was the weekend for, does anyone know??? Must have been important for both of them to end up in Dalby for the start of that weekend.
Did Tayla have a job that weekend ???

100 % agree. This is my thought on it all also.

I think she / they were maybe threatened, or felt threatened, knowing what Tayla was involved in and with whom. And yep, they probably DO KNOW who is involved.

And the reason I believe this is the inconsistencies with what the sister did say in the lead up to the case, and what she wasn't saying, as opposed to what Taylas close friends have said.

You only need to check online to find the back stories of the known people involved with Tayla's case.

I also wouldn't be the least surprised if this is also why the b/f hasn't been out on media calling for her safe return. Fear.

Tayla knew the drug system, her ex was heavily involved in it all his life. It was alleged she was also a drug user and there are so many properties out west that are part of drug labs - you only need to google those two words together to see the bigger picture.

Yep making the public think TS has killed herself is the safest bet.

I think this case is far from over once the autopsy comes back.

The Car.

The reasoning behind why Tayla was in Dalby that weekend.

When asked about the car, the sister said she picked up the car on the Thursday from an employee and that it was her work vehicle, she was the employer and that was why she went to Dalby.

How did Tayla get to Dalby in the first place ? From Roma to Dalby?

Her sister said she wasnt going to drive all the way back to pick up TN on the Friday, which is why he drove his own car into Dalby.

The food suggestions came about by theorising what the interior would be like, after the police press announcement.

She travelled to Dalby on the Thursday and no one knows what she may have done as far as food goes over the 4 days until she went missing.

There is evidence she purchased a drink at the servo. Who knows if she had food / snacks in the car over that 4 day period.

I dont think the food debate is relevant in this case but that's just my opinion. An autopsy will determine the time of death, not the food or drink she may have had in the car.

You mention the bag carried stuff from her business. Could be I guess, given her business has been stagnant for 2 yrs or so.
I only saw that her sister said she had stuff in storage in Dalby, after someone asked what could be in the bag. A few posts back show the discussion.

it's a super heavy bag. She's moving it from the motel to her car early in the morning. So where's TN if he is with her? Why isn't he helping her move that heavy bag?

Actually, he hasn't been shown in any video at all, although he seems to be in the same places she was.

No need to show the boyfriends car in a missing person case. Unless law enforcement list him as a POI or if he was also missing, he has a right to his privacy.

I just can't imagine anyone else having her car for several weeks without it being seen, then take it back to where I believe her body has been since the day she disappeared. My theory is something triggered her maybe while visiting his friends and when she met up with him. He might have dumped her. On top of her other issues like losing her kids, and the court hearing, she snapped and simply drove over the grid onto the property, locked her vehicle and walked away to think. There she died from self harm. And has been here ever since. Just because someone might be involved with druggos or whatever, doesn't mean they necessarily are murderers. AMOO
 
There’s something specific about the concepts of state forest and private property that I want to clear up (due to having specific knowledge of Queensland land use)

There is in reality a bit of a blurring between the two concepts of private property and state forest.

For example “surely a remote location in one of the nearby state parks would be more likely than private property?”

Often land is both!

A state forest can contain pastoral leases - and be used for grazing.

A house is not going to be built on such property — it is not a residential lease - it is a pastoral lease “on” (within) a state forest.

The lesee (the farmer) has restrictions on what they can do with the land, unlikely to get approval for any clearing or construction etc other than the minimum needed for fencing.

So a property in this sense is not 100% private property in the way a residential block would be, and not in the way that one’s picture of a “family farm” would be private property.

The other thing about the area that is really hard to appreciate if you’re from the city is just how *big* the distances are from one place to another.

A country person would not make a big deal of it — and probably say that the properties and distances in that area are actually *not* very big: but that would be in comparison to other regional locations, or the past. But relative to a city person’s point of view, the distances are quite large.

It is very plausible that a car could be left there for weeks, and even if the property was visited, by a worker, particularly one who was not looking for a car, the car may have simply not been seen. I’d give this a fairly high likelihood.

In Australia we are paid a thing called Centrelink by our government if we are looking for work or single parents or disabled etc. ppl
