Including breaks yeah that’s around the right amount of time. I suspect closings are done differently here so they run for longer. Might last another day or so

Erin turned me off true crime friendships for life. 😱
I think that it’s a very hard way to learn that particular life lesson.
Her main supporter is bringing her clothing - she is also her POA (Power of attorney). I wonder why she wasn't a defence witness.... :/
Good question.

Does she get a rebuttal too?

“But in August 2023 she could not recall the shop or suburb she bought the mushrooms from.
Out of interest I used google + maps to find some small shops I have visited just once ever. (Within past 6-12months.) Could only remember the cities they were in, no clue of suburbs.

1. Small food shop - 1 min 50seconds
2. Small clothes shop 2min 20seconds

The one I couldn't find was overseas and in a country where I can't speak the language.

Funny eh

Maybe not the “doting mother” she claimed to be.

If I had children and I was told their lives were in grave danger and they needed to be hospitalised for their safety -I would probably ring the school, ring the ambulance service and meet the kids at the arrival of the ambulance(s).

It’s life or death; right? As a parent you step up accordingly.

IMO

I think there is a vast chasm between love and possession. IMO

The prosecutor tells the jury that during Ms Patterson's considerable time in the witness box, they would have observed her "remarkable memory" as she recalled dates, evidence and details with ease.

Dr Rogers notes that last week, when discussing a date in April 2023, Ms Patterson even corrected her on what day of the week it had been.

* Was a ploy by Dr Rogers when Erin corrected her

Erin has proved that her memory is good after all 😃

Dr Rogers was part-way through examining the fourth alleged deception before court adjourned, and will continue her closing argument tomorrow.

As crown prosecutor Nanette Rogers SC begins to delve deeper into the dumping of the dehydrator after the lunch, Justice Beale declares that's a good point to wrap up the hearing for the day.

Dr Rogers will continue delivering the prosecution's closing address to the jury tomorrow.

After that, the jury will hear the closing address from defence barrister Colin Mandy SC.

Yeah nice crossover gotcha. I had thought it had been a slip by the prosecution but hearing this today cemented the tactic as well inserted.

Dr Rogers is too smart for any slip-ups.

I think she tried to poison SP in the past
I think she would have done so if he had attended
i think she invited the other guests to coerce him to attend
I think when he refused to attend, she poisoned the others to punish him as they were his closest and most supportive family and he loved and respected them
I think if she were to be acquitted, I would be very concerned about her having access to their children, the most obvious way she has left of hurting SP is to hurt the kids

Their integrity is beyond anything I have seen in the media about them. They were literal saints. I mean that seriously as an atheist.

They volunteered in Botswana back in the late 70s and early 80s when flights were super expensive and nobody could afford to do aid work with their own funding - as missionaries to teach the African children English.
They held regular Saturday zoom calls with all of the cousins to catch up about their weeks.
Don taught Erins son physics and maths as a tutor. They volunteered their time to social causes.
Gail held regular "garden exploration" treasure hunts for the grandchildren and taught them about different plants and the cycle of nature.

They were not typical "Evangelical Christians" with a right-wing agenda (like we see the radicals in the USA). They always spoke about equality between men and women and poor and wealthy and different races, gay and straight. They were truly amazing people.
They took in children who didn't have parents.
They were aghast at displays of wealth and privilege and lived a very humble frugal life. They gave so much to their community - a global community.
It is an absolute travesty, IMO.
Did Don and Gail share this information to their community?

I don't think it was a deliberate ploy, however it did give Dr Rogers a free kick.

Did Simon ring her on the Friday night to say he wasn't coming?

Agree for most part. I think Erin equally despised Don and Gail and intended to poison them. However, I believe the Wilkinsons were collateral damage - used purely to coerce Simon into coming to the lunch.

Maybe I missed it but, at any time, did EP visit or attempt to visit her lunch guests when they were in hospital?

Mushroom cook Erin Patterson has admitted to lies, spoken of past shames, and apologised while testifying at her triple murder trial.

But now she wants the jury to believe that she is not lying now..!
All the doctors, medical practitioners, police, professors, and other experts are ALL wrong

and telling lies, conspiracies!..! 😵‍💫
