Anyhow, it seems that "the girls" have already delivered their judgement.

There has been a significant development in the case of mushroom chef Erin Patterson.

Nine months after three of her relatives died after a notorious beef wellington lunch, detectives from Victoria’s Homicide Squad have finalised and served the brief of evidence to Ms Patterson’s lawyers.

Some details of the brief are expected to be made public for the first time when Ms Patterson returns to court in May.

Accused triple murderer Erin Patterson will appear in court for a rescheduled hearing weeks before the start of her trial.

Ms Patterson, 49, will appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court via video link on April 22, 11 days before the hearing on May 3, where she will formally enter pleas to three counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder.

New details by police.

The Herald Sun has been told Ms Patterson allegedly created several profiles under different names. But it’s believed she never claimed to be anyone other than herself while chatting to friends in Facebook groups. She was known to delete her accounts and start new ones sporadically.

Ms Patterson’s Google searches are also expected to be of interest to prosecutors. A police source told the Herald Sun deleted searches can be traced by the force’s specialist team. “It’s not easy but it’s doable on most occasions,” he said.

“She might be involved in conversations or narratives where she has talked about this stuff on online forums ... it could be the tiniest thing.”

Do you think she will plead guilty or not guilty or a mixture of both? Some guilty, some not guilty?

IMO

My guess (bet?) is: Not guilty to all charges.

Yes, I also think she will plead not guilty to all charges. I don't think I believe that though.

Nor do I and I look forward to hearing the excuses for a number of occurrences pertinent to this case.

I think the plea might be not guilty by way of the possibility that a sufficient mental impairment prevailed at the time of the (alleged) offending behaviour. I think that her lawyers might say that there was a correlation between some kind of mental impairment and the (alleged) offending.

But that’s just my best guess.

Of course the case is sub justice and Erin is presumed to be innocent of all charges.

Agreed.
I hope her children are in a supportive environment and that the survivor is recovering as best as possible after losing his wife.

I’m also eager to follow this case.

Is there anything to prevent a person in her circumstances from changing a previously established narrative and saying they used foraged mushrooms vs purchased mushrooms? This doesn’t seem to be wildly different than saying in this case that she disposed of the dehydrator in fear os being falsely accused by her husband (vs intentionally disposing of evidence due to conscious intent).

The changes in narratives could presumably be used against her, but that’s already the case.

Most eloquently and succinctly said, and I am borrowing with credit for my own use!

Same here. And it’s the time when any plea agreements would be offered by the prosecution, which I also believe won’t happen.

Also agree that there will be no deal on the table at any time.

Already a book is being written about this case, by former Sydney detective Duncan McNab.

Hachette Australia has acquired world rights to Recipe for Murder (Duncan McNab). The book, based on the arrest of Erin Patterson over the alleged killing of three people using poisonous mushrooms .....
