Patterson was a courtroom defendant who shielded her face from the sketch artist’s gaze, and who lay on the floor of her transports to and from court to outfox the media photographers. Now her face will be internationally infamous.

After a ten-week court case, after tens of thousands of questions were asked, including 4267 questions of the suspect herself, we don’t know who Patterson is – not really, anyway.

Images show Erin Patterson's dining room and the dumped dehydrator

Here are some more images that were used as evidence during the trial.

They show Erin Patterson's dining room table, where she served up the food, and a food dehydrator which she initially denied owning - despite an instruction manual and receipt being found in her house. Patterson later admitted that she dumped it at a local tip the week after the lunch.

It was recovered by police and a forensic examination uncovered her fingerprints and traces of death cap mushrooms.

These images, which were shown to the jury, are part of about 100 exhibits that the court has now released.

Just watching this now... wow so they had a public memorial led by Simon for his parents, and Erin didn't attend, they have footage of her in her car being asked why she isn't there, she replies my lawyer told me not to talk to you and she drives off.

Erin Patterson is accused of tampering with prison food that made an inmate sick while waiting for the trial to begin: Had job in the Dame Phyllis Frost jail KITCHEN

UNBELIEVABLE...!

Unbelievable is right! I don't believe that Patterson would be so stupid as to pull such a stunt.

IMO, it's a fellow prisoner making up a story for whatever reason.

Erin Patterson has 28 days to appeal

Erin Patterson's time in court may not be over - she can still appeal the guilty verdict, and has 28 days, from the date of her sentencing, to start that process.

Her legal team can either appeal the guilty verdict itself, the sentence handed down or both.

So this means that reporting restrictions are still in place, as under Australian law, media reporting of any trial is restricted to information that has been presented to the jury.

Reporting anything that was not presented to the jury, even if it is publicly known, can be considered contempt of court and may lead to legal repercussions for the media outlet and journalist.

Is Erin Patterson going to pay child support from jail for her children, or will she allow Simon to care for them financially completely - and provide for them on his own?

I have only been on WS for a couple of months. But one of her friends found my account on here recently, trying to shut me down.

Her friends are as toxic as she is.
They'll be her flying monkeys.
I'm so sorry you've had to go through that. Dealing with a Narc is like being touched by evil. Much love

Child support is suspended for someone in prison.

Another exhibits is quite poignant and tragic - an entry from Heather Wilkinson’s diary on 29 July 2023, which reads: “Erin’s for Lunch”.

Even now, I find it hard to get my head around it all and how cold blooded Erin Patterson was. :(

Yeah, she did a Chad Daybell. Paid with her real estate.

I don't feel sorry for Erin, I just hope Simon is comfortable enough financially that her kids don't suffer any more than they already are.

MOO

Simon would surely be entitled to a significant amount of her assets for the purpose of raising their two children . . . ?

Alleged death cap mushrooms on kitchen scales

The release of exhibits by the Supreme Court is probably giving you a sense of the sheer volume of material presented to the jury during the trial.

These next two images were extracted from Erin Patterson's tablet device.

They were shown to several people during the trial, including fungi expert Tom May who identified the mushrooms in them as death caps with a “high level of confidence”.

The prosecution asserted that the photos were taken by Erin Patterson and showed her weighing death cap mushrooms she’d picked from Loch after seeing the toxic species flagged on iNaturalist.

Erin denied this and said she did not remember taking the photos, but agreed she likely had done.

Erin Patterson's messages to friends about mushrooms

By Mikaela Ortolan

One of Patterson's Facebook friends, Daniela Barkley, produced these screenshots of a chat they were in together.

One of the images shows a message Patterson sent where she told her Facebook friends she'd been blitzing mushrooms so that she could hide them in food to feed her children.

By Madi ChwastaKorumburra Baptist Church has paid tribute to Don and Gail Patterson and Heather Wilkinson, the victims of Erin Patterson's deadly lunch.

The church, where the sole surviving guest Ian Wilkinson is a pastor, posted a statement on its noticeboard following today's guilty verdict.

"We all greatly miss Heather, Don and Gail whether we were friends for a short time or over 20 years," the statement says.

"They were very special people who loved God and loved to bless others.

"The Wilkinson and Patterson families have asked that people respect their privacy at this time."
