Wouldn't the jury have known that Erin Patterson was in jail from when she was initially arrested? 🤔
Yes, I believe so.

I have seen the victims referred to as "elderly" several times - it may not have been here, can't remember. Anyway, I beg to differ! And Heather was only 66, I don't think that's "elderly" by anyone's standards!

65 in most countries

Poor, precious Erin. She's always so hard done by, our little injustice collector.
I had a very narcissistic “friend” in my life for years. She finally turned on me…not even sure why to this day. Injustice Collector is the perfect description. My former “friend” had a longer block list on her phone and social media than a CVS receipt.

I wonder if Erin owned more than one pair of pants. And I wonder how often she washed that pair of pants.

what do you mean? the name Prior?
Yes, birds of a feather flock together, 'priors' can be how people refer to previous crimes. Thought it was ironic.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I hadn't realised that the jury didn't know that Erin had been in prison since 2023 and was in custody throughout this trial. It's confirmed here.

Erin Patterson Guilty: Every detail from inside the Mushroom trial

The Australian

The Jury certainly aren't told that a defendant is in jail. It's prejudicial to the defendant, that's why they wear "street" clothes.

But using their own common sense, when you have 3 murder charges & 1 attempted murder charge , than I think they would have guessed she was not free.

In no way am I defending this piece of work, but when I find a pair of pants I love (good fit, comfy, flattering, whatever metric I'm using at the time), I will buy at least 3 of them so I can wear my "favorite pants" whenever I want. Not necessarily the case with her, but a possibility since she had the resources to do that, as well.

It was mentioned this article too about always wearing the same clothes to work

The colleague said the mother of two had been trained at Melbourne Airport and had the skills to do the work but had been counselled about her presentation, which had included regularly wearing the same clothes to work.

Not gonna lie, if I really like something, I will buy more than one and sometimes every color they offer. My daughter has a nickname for me because of it.

Yes, she made an account impersonating someone she was stalking. She seemed to get her kicks out of humiliating people. Imo

A third former colleague said during her time at Air Services, Erin would call into the air traffic control centre pretending to be another worker and say they were sick.

They thought it was part of a plan Erin had to pick up lucrative shifts covering the sick leave of others.

Another remembers Erin giggling in a corner of the room when a confused air traffic controller was being quizzed by her bosses, who asked: "Why are you here? Didn't you call in sick?"

They suspect Erin was behind a phone call to the bosses earlier that day, as a prank.

Am I the only one who is beginning to wonder if possibly Juror No 84 was set up? Perhaps by one of her flying monkeys?JMOO

I realise that the jury aren't told if a defendant is in jail, but unless they were living unde a rock, they would have known of this case when it first happened.

Why would she still have Gail's fruit platter, and the gravy, in her fridge a week later, on the 5th when police searched her house? It feels like she kept it for a reason.
I think she said she was told to keep it.

I’ve followed this case from the start and read through all of the trial information posted here (thanks to those who did this). I’ve felt all along she was guilty. I also think she is either NPD, BPD or has some sort of personality disorder.
After Simon’s mystery illnesses and his apparent comment to Erin at the hospital regarding the dehydrator, he must have figured it out pretty quick that there was something wrong with the lunch, and that’s why his family were so sick.
I believe if she wasn’t behind bars there would be more victims in the future.
Justice has been done for the suffering Don, Gail, Heather and Ian endured, as well as the trauma on Simon and the children. Such a tragedy.

he denied making that comment

According to the article I just posted the family immediately suspected Erin had poisoned them.
