Australia Australia - Amesha Rajapakse, 31, Westmead, NSW, 26 Aug 2014

Hmmm....that comment about having trouble with security cameras not working is troubling. They'd better have footage!!

And o/t - I love your avatar butwhatif....very beautiful.

APARTMENT DESCRIPTION RENTAL RATES (per week)
1 Bedroom Apartment $699 to $872
2 Bedroom Apartment $851 to $1054

At the bottom of one of the msm articles (I think it is the Telegraph - no time to check now!) locals have posted comments.

People who actually live in the building are saying that the highest rents are more like $450 per week.

I'm thinking these higher figures are the rates for holiday rentals (which also occurs in those apartments) as that link you provided has rates for the 'exit clean'. So those are the short term rental rates.

asking about the pool and then being found in water... something there is concerning to me too... So many questions we have... and I think a lot of fence sitting IMO.

Just seen the thread...
Haven't got around to thanking everyone in there posts, so I'll do it now.
:tyou: everyone :)

I wondered if Amesha had left her scarf in the door so she could do a hasty retreat if she needed to get back inside.
I wondered if there was someone outside she was unfamiliar with or she was being stalked, and she did not want to leave the building, thus she was pacing in the foyer?

This sounds plausible. So waiting for unknown person to move along before she leaves for the shops?

I was wondering if Amesha had to walk anywhere close to the creek because that scarf could have been used to drag her towards the area. If the soil was wet maybe the evidence was still there unless it was washed away.
Could someone have upended her into the creek from the road and if the creek was running its a wonder she wasn't washed downstream, maybe the scarf or clothing hooked up on a snag. Poor sweet girl.
The postmortem will most likely help. With the rain I wonder if DNA would still be on her.
I'm hoping she got some DNA under her nails.

Here is the Ch 9 news video from Wednesday evening .. it has the apartment manager saying a few words .. like Amesha seemed to have something on her mind when she was pacing in the foyer, in his opinion ... and the ear-piercing scream was heard at about 5:30-6:00 am.

Well, the police said they would have the autopsy report on Thursday and it's now Friday... The results are reportedly key to determining whether the death is suspicious or not. Given that there are many local residents disturbed by this event and women, in particular, not knowing whether they should legitimately fear for their safety, I hope the autopsy results are released sooner rather than later!!!

If they don't release the initial autopsy finding soon, I imagine that we'll find that Amesha's death is a targeted killing or a suicide or an accident. Though I personally can't see it being a suicide or accident. Surely they would alert the public if some homicidal maniac was running loose.

It seems an unlikely venue for a suicide, though not impossible. And the only way that I can imagine it being an accident is if Amesha was fleeing in fear and somehow got over or around that fence by the creek and tried to hide/flee that way. Because it sure would have been a slippery, muddy and wet shortcut to nowhere.

What happened to you Amesha?? I wish we even knew what you looked like .. who you were ...

Here it is TGY ... I wonder if this means that Amesha took the car to the shops, or got a ride?

And here are a couple of shots of the lobby, from the same video ...

I captured poor Damian's mouth in very attractive positions, no? :giggle:
Those just happened to be the best shots of the lobby.

Amesha's brother & father said she'd gone to the shops @ 7.30pm, IMO that's late for a rainy night on foot as it had to be Coles because of the gift cards, possibly no money. ($6-$10)
Also could she have been waiting around in the foyer for her brother to come home so she could borrow the car?
What time did her brother usually arrive home from work? Surely no later than 7.30pm!
I don't understand why he couldn't pull into a shop or service station on the way home, assuming he took the car to work.

It'd be horrible to think they missed each other by minutes. :o
