You know, there are kids who have killed their parent(s) on purpose. Too horrifying to imagine? I have seen it more than several times on the true-crime show 48 Hours.
However, I haven't yet seen anything about kids who won't speak with police, or a police counsellor, when their father is suspected of murdering their mother ... until now.
If a child had some kind of mental disorder - say unmedicated bipolar, or is a recreational user of ice, or is totally hooked on an upper-crust way of life - would the father not want to get them some mental health help? As opposed to covering up their crime for them.
I know that when Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh was murdered by his son in 2015 (?), the Supreme Court found that his son was suffering from undiagnosed, untreated schizophrenia. Also, as the son was a young adult (25 at the time), doctors had not disclosed any of his problems to his family. So, they were caught completely unaware.
I only write this, because why does everyone assume that Karen's death was accidental - IF it was done at the hands of a 'child'?
Just food for thought.
