Sorry SA. I added to my post that the video you posted was published on 14 July. Two days before AR's rants began.

No worries. The video with SR's 'only child' comment is posted on 14th July, 3AW publish that SR is an only daughter on 15th July, AR's rants commence on 16th July.

I respectfully disagree that this body language means Sarah is hiding something or is guilty. Loved ones tend to experience five stages of emotions in relation to grief and loss. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. This is based on Elisabeth Kubler Ross's five stages of grief model.

These stages are not linear stages. It is possible Sarah was feeling depressed and numb. The shake of the head could have been denial. This press conference was two weeks after Karen's disappearance. The initial hope of Karen's quick return would have faded. Also, the shock in response to Karen's disappearance may still have been felt by Sarah.

I agree, I noticed that too. I also had a "what in the world!!" moment when I first saw VR visiting the house with a food parcel ..... seemed more like he was off to the teddy bear's picnic rather than offering brotherly support .... seemed bouncy and jovial ..... just my opinion, actually did a double-take when I saw him.

Yes I'm continuously doing double takes with this lot.

Is you were to look up dysfunctional in the dictionary it would say Ristevski.

It would be totally understandable if Sarah was totally cried out by the time they did the press conference.

Sarah is 21 years old.

I focused on Sarah and saw

1) no tears
2) a frown
3) eyes down, no eye contact
4) a pout
5) shaking of head when anticipated a question.

And she deactivated her FB as soon as it happened.

I wonder if AR heard that initial interview, or if he only saw the later TV reiteration on 14th July.
Not that it really matters. But I sense some discord between the half-siblings, so I wondered if SR's words about being an only child got to AR and triggered his rants and public disclosure of a family secret. Possibly he even contacted 3AW to 'advise' them she was an only daughter, which they then mentioned in their article on 15th July.

As time goes on different possibilities are emerging of what may/maynot have taken place.

I have commented before over what has struck me as odd, more than a few things.

The overall family reaction seems to be at odds with finding a missing person.

Although there has been an appeal it seemed what wasn't said was then left open to speculation .

Okay, putting another theory out there, here goes ..... what if it's a totally staged disappearance and they're all in on it? KR relocates to New Zealand or somewhere, by boat, using old passport or fake one - husband stays around to sort out affairs and when everything dies down relocates to where KR is and they begin again, away from AR ....... debt free (I don't know how but maybe there's a way)?:thinking:

I know of a woman who did exactly that. She was sick of her drug effected hangers-on children, she moved house and didn't tell them where she was going. They were slowly killing her.

The difference is she didn't go missing.

Yeah it was very quiet in the media between the start and mid of July, his allegations were made in the early morning of July 16th.

Maybe AR suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, due to long-term drug use, and everything he's said is a figment of his imagination .... I mean, his posts read like something out of a Batman and Robin comic. He may even have KR hostage up the bush or something, in a farmhouse, who knows, wouldn't surprise me in the least.

AR was in jail recently and I think if he has schizophrenia he wouldn't go to jail but to hospital or something? I am not sure can someone clarify this please?

As long as he had access to medication and psychiatric support in jail, which he obviously would, it would not be a requirement for him to be incarcerated in hospital. If he had an episode or increase in symptomatology, he may have been transferred to hospital for short or long term care depending on his state of mind.

Depends how you look at it, It may be his translation to english im unsure if he speaks two languages.
