Can someone confirm if there is a new house being built next door please?

One local said definitely not and another said there is.

1) Would there be workers at 10am in the morning at the site?

2) If so would there be rubble at the site, say bricks or lumps of concrete that could be used as a weapon. Someone hiding behind the 6' colour-bond fence.

From a previous visit it would appear that it was nearing lock up stage. One gentleman along with a white van appeared to be working on the property......day off tomorrow a little drive by is on the agenda.

Was Karen murdered? Do you know who did it?

I'm curious to know if there were any builder's labourers etc. around at the time Karen allegedly went for her walk. I'm sure the police would have checked into this but it's still another avenue to explore.

That handbag would hold several kilos and if the handles were around Karen's neck it would drown her and hold her under.
Be it murder or suicide.

It wouldn't be the first time a body was under a concrete slab.

The property under construction would have numerous visits by trades persons and vehicles, just opens up more possibilities ?

I can't find a DA stating the build so we'll have to wait for our lovely WS'er to take a look to confirm.

Different tradesmen, builders, trenches, holes which Karen could have been injured, buried, hidden. :thinking:

I wonder if new properties being built near the river have to Eco friendly drainage, say like drainage pits to ensure no run-off.
Just a thought to what happened to Karen.

I just checked Google Earth (image date April 2014). There is a house at #17, then the vacant block, then their house at #23.
So the vacant block is/was #19 and #21, I think.

There are definitely two driveway entrances ready for 2 new houses - one on either side of the vacant land.

It sounds to me that both of our posters were correct. A new house has gone up at #19 (½ of vacant block) and there is still vacant land immediately next door at #21 (the other ½ of vacant block).

Good pick up SthAus. Two driveways I thought could have been a duplex.
I was looking at this property only to see if there was excavation for a split level design or the like to capture the views.
Excavation = holes or something she could have fallen in or been buried in. Just kickin' around some thoughts.
She's got to be somewhere.
