JC's evidence of hitman not reliable, all other evidence reliable.........

aha. getting to the reasons for Mr Dawson's aggressive evidence re Joanne, and the judge is satisfied that Joannes evidence is over all reliable. Understanding the mechanics of grooming, seems to be what thejudge is calling Dawson's behaviour, that Joanne was only a child. ( not good for dawson)

Another update: Justice Harrison has accepted the evidence from family babysitter “JC” that #Dawson called her and said “Lyn’s not coming back, come back to Sydney and help me look after the children” before picking her up from South West Rocks & moving her into Bayview Heights.

And here we are at the 'on the other hand' segment of the trial..

'Lyn is not coming back' - ACCEPTED - Whoa!

You know on election night, when they say "it's too early to call" and still make a call?

It is tempting to make a call right now.

This is the tragedy of this crime, that those girls believed Mum had 'run away'... all their lives... a lifetime tragedy, merely to keep Dawson kicking around with his stupid story.

ooo nice opinions from the judge, re women being held to a higher standard, that she was entitled to be judged as Lynn Dawson, not just mother, or a wife, but a person in her own right, and what her character showed all her life. She did not leave her children, nor her home, nor her husband voluntarily.

I like this enlightened judge.

Who thinks the judge will say manslaughter? I think he'll reject the evidence of planning in the same way and say that CD's lies are evidence of guilt but not necessarily of (intentional) murder.
I can only see it happening if he’s found guilty and sentenced, and at a later date at the appeals court, his lawyer attempt’s to reduce his sentence with a scenario, Lyn’s death was an accident, and CD panicked and disposed of her body….same old, same old….
It didn’t work in Ristevski’s favour, nor will it for CD, imo.

oh, his guilt must be the only rational hypothesis, ... there must be no other rational hypothesis of lynns disappearance .

Now the judge is dismantling, rationally. how the theory of Lynn leaving home, then apparently working close to home is irrational and can be discarded. That Lynn would leave the home, husband and kids to Joanne.

Uncharacteristically, she wouldn't ... oh. he brings up her love for clothes!!.. Good on you Judge!.. a huge barrier to running way from those afflicted with this handicap!!.. we'd need a truck or two to leave.

That she had no driving license. that she had her own money, access to her own money, not much, but .. that Lynn had a strong maternal instinct...

JC wouldn't be human if she wasn't enjoying this.

Looking at the folder judge Ian Harrison is using, there are a lot more pages left than he has already read out.

Unless there is some kind of appendix at the back of the folder he doesn't need to read, we are in for a long one here.

He is skipping over pages though but yes agree I think we are here for a while yet!

There's evidence of intention to be discussed. If the judge believes the evidence that CD was considering a hit man that will help.
