The judge says he concedes that Mr Dawson was of prior good character. WTF?
is he aware of the child predator charges coming his way????
and twin 1???
hmmmm.

' staring over the balcony, utterly refusing to partake in doubt!.'

Dawson is publicly labelled a liar, and a stupid and vicious liar, to boot. Will that be enough, for me? for you?

A very thorough judgement. either way. Really.

This wait is excrutiating - the poor family

He might give an open verdict.. find that Lynn was murdered, but cannot find enough evidence to convict Dawson..

bleughhhh

I am sorry but how can he find the trampoline incident true but find Dawson not guilty of physically assulting lyn.
wtf??

The judge has unequivocally, comprehensively dismissed and dismantled all the witnesses who claimed to have seen Lynn, except for 99 year old Mrs M, who , while he didn't dismiss all her claims, did dismiss her timing and memory retrieval.... I mean... that's a destruction of Dawson's entire claim that people saw her after Jan.. 82.. that has to count for something!!!

Hoping he is just showing us his non bias before he carves him up!!

I took, that the judge has taken the fact that Lyn did not report any DV to anyone into his reasons.

I'm not sure there would have been many women speaking up about DV back than .......

no exactly ..it was still a mans world back then.
I am disappointed his stance there.

Dawson cannot object either way with the judgement based on any misappropriation of law, . as Dawson himself required and requested a Judge Only trial. This is entirely on Dawson, and Dawson must have believed he'd get a fairer shake from a Judge only trial, instead of a judge and jury. So he cannot reel back and moan about a sole adjudicator.

While he drones on …. Why do they build a bald spot into the judges wig . I can’t help but stare at it

Just noticed there are 20,000 people watching the live feed.

20,000 wow!

I just checked to see if they may have already released the judgement on Caselaw, sadly not.

Judge is not very complimentary re the NSW coppers who 'investigated ' Lynn's disappearance..

  • #379
The judge said "It's possible some witnesses who had passed away in the four decades since 1982 may not have been beneficial for Mr Dawson."

He sure has a way with words.
