Justice Harrison says he accepts “for the purposes of these proceedings that Chris Dawson was a person of prior good character”. Mr Dawson had no prior criminal history.

Judge is not very complimentary re the NSW coppers who 'investigated ' Lynn's disappearance..
NSW police have a pretty stinky track record.:mad:

Let's not miss the DPP though in this instance they were stinkier still.......
someone dodged a bullet there......

eta (lloyd babb for those wondering...looking at you)

Judge confirmed the poolside/trampoline incident and bruises on Lyn’s neck as unreliable

Judge does not give acceptance to Miss Oakes Wildly evidence (not sure of spelling)

If I was CD's lawyer I would be mortified by the Judges comments about everything she has missed!

The judge plainly didn't write his entire submission on the same day and seems to have varied from day to day in his view on certain things. Should have had it proof read - LOL.

It's a huge leap. Dawson and Joanne, and Lynns disappearance presented as coincidence... Not something I can believe.

The judge has found that Lynn is indeed dead. That she was not voluntarily a runaway wife, quite the contrary. She loved her home, her kids and even her husband. SO that part of it is out of the way.

The Teacher's Pet podcast under the spotlight
By Freya Noble14:46
Justice Harrison is examining the impact of The Australian newspaper's podcast - The Teacher's Pet - on the case.
The podcast series was downloaded more than 60 million times worldwide and helped bring Lynette Dawson's disappearance back into the public spotlight.
Two full episodes were tendered to court and the podcast's creator, Hedley Thomas, was called as a witness to the trial.
Justice Harrison said the series represented a "less than balanced view".
