No. That is not what I am saying, nor is it what the judge said. What the judge said was , that he would not be reading out the full judgement, that there was more in his judgement that would be in the CaseLaw record on line, and this would be published on NOV 11th concurrent with sentencing. This was agreed to by the prosecutor, and the defence.

It is not usual, but it does happen sometimes. It does not mean any changes to that which the judge has already tabled as 'The Judgement'. just that he didn't read it all out, and that would be corrected NOV11th.


Where did I hear that? since you ask so politely, I am happy to say, that's what was said, and I think I heard it correctly, but I am always up for correction, as I pointed out in my original post referring to this, that it was between the judge, the prosecutor, and the defence, both of whom agreed to this proposal.

So did you mishear, or did they change their mind on what they agreed on Tuesday?

Regardless of what they might choose to write on social media, I can only feel sympathy for all of those wronged by Chris Dawson's selfish actions.

40 years of agony for Lynn's mother. . .

It is hard to forget that she would travel on all the trains of Sydney, always looking, always searching...never finding,, never at peace , died not knowing..

Even, that in his feral insistence that he was the prime player in all this, he destroyed the relationship with Gran, and Granpa, aunts, uncles, cousins. ... He was, is, in every sense of the word, a family annihilator.

He didn't kill the whole family, but he poisoned it, root and branch. He had no mercy.. not a day of mercy, he lived his life bereft of all mercy. None.. even now.

Being topless is sexual...brazen ...bold and totally inappropriate in a married couple with little kids home.

Her innocence isn't as pure as she would have us believe.

The streetcorner tip is the hitman was Neddy Smith and the place was the old Newtown RSL Club, which was upstairs from the street.

The article also mentions other underworld figures that mixed with Newtown Jets at the time including:

This was also about the time Gary Sullivan, who played with Dawson at Newtown in the 1970s, was pulling off some of the biggest bank and armoured truck robberies in Australia.

The article also reports that Neddy Smith was one of Dawson’s team-mate’s brother in law ….

So who knows ??? Would be an intriguing question to ask, if a truthful answer could be ascertained ???

EDIT to add, I don’t think it was a lie either…. My initial post was more that the article was trying to get across the point that possibly the Judge was out of his depth in regards to criminality and football links from that time ….
